  2. I use photobucket sometimes....that's where you will have to resize the images before you upload to Photobucket, then you can just use the straight link. One advantage with Flickr is stats (not sure if that's only for pro accounts or not) but allows you to see how many views each image gets and where they are being referred from.
  3. If using Flickr to host, select the "share" option....the little twisted arrow at bottom right corner of image.....they you can choose and option for size and it provides a copy/paste link with all the url stuff .....after pating to your post, you can "preview post" to get the image to load and see how it looks....I usually go for the option closest to 800x600 for freebuild posts....150x150 works well for little "character speaking" images.... If you are hosting on a site that does not provide such and option, you can resize your images in Paint or Photoshop and upload a smaller version.
  4. Any word on the February MCRA port list? Did I miss it somewhere....or is it the same as the January list?

  17. Our LUG (CoWLUG....or Colorado and Wyoming LUG) participates in a yearly model railroad display and sale event called "Rails in the Rockies" (12-14 February 2016) held in Estes Park, Colorado.....this year, our theme was "Islands" with ships and sea creatures on the rails as the actual "trains." My display was originally going to be a "Ninja Island," but with all the builds I had done already for BoBS, I decided a "Ninja/Pirate" island was better! So.....with out further delay....the Sea Rats at 7500 feet! BoBS at Rails in the Rockies by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr The Glassblower's Shop got an actual entrance and roof..... 18. Very nice! I am curious, as I am working on a shipyard as well.....is it considered "Factory" or "Artisan" -or- would a shipyard be part of the "Shipwright" profession stuff to come?
  19. "Oh no dey ditn't....!" Yay! Pirate's can haz cannons! They're picking up on the socialist leanings of the DeTaillefer clan...."Through work comes power!" We Piraat's watch each other's backs......Arrrrgh! (Mostly....)
  20. Looks like they mention NMRA on their site....it's mainly Z, N, HO, S, O...etc...stuff, we are the only LEGO folks there....this year we did boats on rails and islands....Gilligan's, Easter, Christmas, Kitchen,.....clean-up on Isle 3, etc...mine was originally supposed to be a "Ninja Island," but after BoBS started up, the Ninja's and pirates thing seemed more appropriate! I should have some highlights on my flickr later....lol
