  5. You will all be happy to know we've repainted the roof!
  6. I love your lanterns....Great design!
  7. It seems to me that the "start anywhere you wish" idea may result in all runs only going to the top ports in the list trade wise..... Perhaps each faction's "home port" needs a list of it's own accounting for various distances from the "faction home port".....but I can see this may be problematic as the ports/islands are not evenly distributed....so some factions would have more beneficial trade routes available than others....
  8. I think that is the "paint roller" part...a couple of ninjago sets and the detective office had them....
  9. If an Admin can adjust the titles of my posts then....that would be great....lol How about a Merchant Flotilla?? Seems we have a few boats....should we coordinate our MCRA routes? I was planning for New Terreli and Kingsport...zones 4 and 5.
  10. Well, she has these two "extremely light" Rifles....er muskets.....I may upgrade them for a reshoot.....didn't make the post as I think I read we are limited to 6 images. Le Dindon Bow by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr There was a bizarre upslope condition resulting in a thermal inversion near the coast with a counter laminar flow just above the surface....lol Thanks! I did them like this on a previous ship with a similar side cladding.... The Hag's Breath...(WIP) Lower Cargo Deck by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr
  11. Ah yes...I filled out the test form and selected "ship" as my ship type.....lol Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on the action!
  12. The ship type "Cog" as well as several others are missing from the MCRA sign up form..... Is MCRA already underway or is there a start date?
  13. A (supposed to be) hidden technical feature to help the sail look more "full of wind" (seems I found a term for this, but have lost it...)
  14. We were going to just have a tarred roof...but the girls insisted on more colour...so we chose the patriotic colours of our new homeland....it does make it a bit more "circus," but every town needs a couple of ugly buildings....lol
  15. This one is licensed at a "Cog" or Class 2T
  16. Holy Hell that's fantastic!

Rhys F. DeTaillefer License type: Class 2T I had mentioned earlier that Lord Plantagenet had come through "and more....." ....and now I will clarify. In addition to the ample supplies and goods, we also received a small trade vessel named "Le Dindon" Le Dindon at sea by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr Though not huge, she's more than enough to get us on our feet...she was good to go to work as soon as her cargo was unloaded... 19. Freebuild #2 and #3 (?does the sigfig count as 1 of 4??): Moonraker Sail Company, Bastion "Le Dindon"
  20. Saga of the Sea Rats, Volume 1: Piraat Rhys in Bastion Previous: A new arrival in Bastion... Next: "Le Dindon" |~+=@&@=+~|~+=@&@=+~|~+=@&@=+~| Log Entry Capt. Rhys Flaidd DeTaillefer Bastion, Day 134 License type: Artisan (small) Despite my suspicions to the contrary, old man Plantagenet made good on his promise...17 days after we arrived in Bastion, the supplies he promised, and more, arrived. Brit and I found an abandoned set of walls that made for a great workshop...It appears the structure may have burned at some time in the past...but the walls are stone and masonry...and as sturdy as an ox. After another few weeks of scrounging and bartering with our new neighbors, The Sail Company opened her doors.... Moonraker Sail Company Repaint by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr Lady Marcia has hired a few talented locals to assist in the cutting room... Moonraker Sail Company workshop on Flickr The Plantagenets' personal carpenters made, for us, a superb cutting table of the finest quality. 21. "F"-ing Beautiful! I love the forced perspective microbuild manor in the background.....I think about this kind of shot all the time, but never have attempted one....Bravo sir!
  22. Is it possible to get a post created with links to all of the boat and ship build posts....maybe in the MCRA thread or on it's own, so players can view the various created vessels for each faction?
  23. Very nice! Beautiful build....I really like those inverse slopes at the base of the wall.....
  24. Thanks so much everyone! Funny story on this build....the first thing I had was the Kawa ship....it was a "reject" for a SoNE build...then I decided it would be on a platform....so I built the platform surface next.....attached the struts underneath and then had to figure out how to get it down on the baseplate.....finally, had to trim out the baseplate, with all of the platform in place.....very last came the Recon remote and it's Arial Drone.....it was so backwards.....but sometimes it just comes together that way!
  25. Thanks so much all for your comments! Yes....a "shipyard"......oh dear.....what have I gotten myself into.....lol!
