Question of property types...... What would a training center or school be classified as? For that matter, what about a church/temple or shrine? Just curious....

LDD 4.3.9 Update Released
Vedauwoo replied to legolijntje's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Is that file supposed to be an image of the parts? I cannot get it to load...the D/L appears to be just folders with no .lxf files.... Did I do something wrong? -
From what I remember, the "War Hull" is quite a bonus over normal hulls and will be needed for settlement raids? Not sure where I read/heard that.....so, feel free to correct me if I am wrong....

I'd say you're firmly in the class 4 range, if not class 5....perhaps armament would decided it...but I notice she has no Gun Holes.... Very nice boat.....I agree on adding a Jib sail of some sort.... Nice Hooters on the Figurehead! -

Not too bad...the only open ones were 1x2 black plates, headlight bricks and those 1x2 plates with the slope on one side..... Yah....my Elecktra X-610 "Outlaw" Bass just like Chris Squire had! In the case is an L-0 Gibson acoustic Guitar from about 1922 and just out of the shot is my Electric Sitar/Guitar thing.....out in the Garage I also have a Hammond M-3 organ I found abandoned in a garage last year..... -

The Naval Licensing and Prize Court
Vedauwoo replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is what I was thinking would make the most sense..... So, if the vessel stays as the same role (i.e.: Trade) then paying to upgrade license would be sufficient. But to change role, a build would be posted showing some story about said modifications. -

In regard to the "Up-licensing...." Is the vessel to remain true to it's role through the process, or may it evolve? That is, should an "eventual" 5T always be a "T" class vessel in lower classes, or could it evolve from an "F" to an "A" to and "WR," etc...? -

Ok...ok....jeez! lol I think I will incorporate it into a freebuild....probably a tailor's shop and a thread that will be their "Guide to the fashions of The New World" where all players and factions can submit their info... -

Can we set up a post or thread where all members can specify the "parts" for their minifigs? (sort like we did in AG) At first I was thinking it would be nice to know the parts for the faction "leaders" for freebuilds and story....but it'd be even better to have the info for all the members as well. -
I would like this as well.... either some sort of acknowledgement post in the FB thread to indicate the license was applied....or adding "Licensed" or "LP" (licensed property) / "LS" (Licensed ship) to the Thread title maybe?

Quick inquiry regarding MCRA winnings...specifically, Captured ships... Could a captured ship be used for it's "license value" (or percentage thereof) towards the purchase of a larger Ship license?

I think the bigger picture to look at here is a 2A and a 3A are different types of ships....So, of course one license cannot be applied to the other... A better solution might be an option to "earn DB value (or reduced portion thereof) of license by turning it in the Faction leaders..." or something along that line....so if you have a 2A built, capture a 3A and don't want to build, perhaps you could get 75% of the license value in DB for "turning it in." Then those funds could be used to purchase the license you need.

I dig the water and the cobblestones....as well as the rest! very nice. Now, let's discuss focus....... Seriously, though....not sure on the LG's "tap to pick focus point" capabilities (like iphones have)....if you don't have that, you may try a slightly larger framing of the scene (to keep everything from being too close to focus) then crop the image in post processing to the scene you want.....the trade off in noise/grain over soft/close focus might be preferable.

It's built across 3 32x32 baseplates.....the "treads" for the bridge turned out to be remarkably finicky....much more rigid than I expected.

Dee Shipyards of the Empire of Corrington

The first thing I would try is the tripod mount it, then go for a low ISO and long exposure....may need a remote shuttle release, as pressing the button can sometimes move the camera.... Getting that ISO value down to the sub-400 range...preferably 100-200 should reduce or eliminate the noise. I have a Canon 50d that I use still....it is true that newer digital SLRs have superior low light performance....but I can't afford anew camera all the time either....lol I have great luck using my iphone 5's camera....it's quite good at low light and does automatic color balancing...
