Very interesting concept! I wonder how it would lok with the front wheel-arcs tiles over¿? (1x2 tile on top. 1x1 cheese in front of the 1x1 tile, and headlight 1x1 transparent cheese in front of the red cheese)
-
Very nice! (I love Art-Deco...)
-
Very realistic, except for the top floor... Wouldnt that part normally be located in a secret place, like a rented house in some rural neighborhood¿? (I seem to have read that although these officually licensed shops can sell and consume weed, there is no legal way for them to grow or buy it¿?) Now seriously; Very nice MOC!

Nice! I especially like the olive-green (?) roof. Simple but very effective! I wish you could rid of some of the gaps (around the windows) on the facade, though...
-
If that cornice is made with "Curved Slope 1x3" in green, then the model cannot be build, because that piece does not exist... Otherwise very nice design!

The wheels used in the instructions are these; 93594 Wheel 11mm D. x 6mm with Smooth Hubcap -That is a BrickLink reference number!

Thanks! Tecnically you are right, but... It´s a different design. Although it looks almost the same from the outside, I´ll argument that the inside was drastically different, and that it is too different a vehicle. Visually I would just have to raise the front and back a plate, and pin an extra wheel on the hood. I´ll also argue that my build is first and foremost a study of COLOURS, not real 2CV versions, of which there are many many more! (i.e. Fourgonette, Mehari)

Excellent! This gives me so many good ideas!

First off; Thanks to all! Well, The DS has a complete set of instructions published here; http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=484390 So your dad was not James Bond¿? ;-) I´m sorry, but a CX is not en the plans. I am danish, but living in Spain. I dont have any special inclination for Citroën, it has just so happened that I´ve been able to build some of these very characteristic models. It´s always nice when complex curves can be achieved with Lego. I´ve never even owned a Citroën, but there sure were plenty of them in Denmark! Especially the 2CV is an engineering masterpiece, given the specification and cost of the finished product. (Also compared to when this car was actually designed) I know that tecnologically and design-wise the DS was eons ahead of everybody else when it came out, but still, I think it was the 2CV that had ALL the charm...

Nah, becuase I already did the DS 19, a long time ago; -And you needn´t ask for the Type H van either; More¿? -Well, the 2CV in "Fourgonette" version has been done too; -This one is curently being re-done, and I will publish the improved version soon... I even made a special hippie-version of the 2CV; -Or how about one featuring rriggs father on the job; Ciao!

Thanks! You can find the building instruactions in HispaBrick Magazine #14. (Free download from the web) http://www.hispabrickmagazine.com/en

Hi all, I´ve just finished my collection of Citroën 2CVs, and these are all the possible colour-combinations when using standard Lego components; There are 9 possible pure-colour variants. The lime and red car are only possible now in 2013, when certain key-pieces has finally been made available. But we can make even more! -There exist some additional designs and paintschemes from Citroën; -Namely the dark red/black Charleston, the yellow/black Charleston and the red/white Dolly! Here´s a couple of more photos of this -currently- 12-car collection; Ciao!

What's Your Favorite Train Documentary and/or TV Program?
Hoexbroe replied to Hey Joe's topic in LEGO Train Tech
For me, that´s GOT to be "Eisenbahn Romantik". Alas, I think it is only in german, but maybe you can catch a few episodes using YouTube caption. (which still works really bad though...) -
Whoa.. That´s a... BIG car for minifig-scale... lol

It is very nice, but the trains runs FAR FAR too fast for my taste. ;-) Looks like a slot-car race... ;-)
