Thanks for the comments, guys! I dont have any other photos, except one where you can see the underside of teh roof. (But it might be the opposite of what you wanted...) Yeah, I always wanted to make a trafo like that. Here´s a close up; I assure you that the roof is actually quite sturdy! -And very flexible! Ciao!

B-OV-35C Hi all, Here is one of the center-peices in the upcoming MegaMOC 2012; A North-American petrol station inspired by the real-world Jack Colker "Union-76" station in Beverly Hills, CA, a great example of the Googie-style architecture. Some more photos here; http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=506259 Thanks for watching and commenting! :-)

V-LV-30E & V-LV-30F, & V-LP-11A Hi guys, No less than 3 new vehicles has been added to the collection! (#16, #17 and #18) First off, the 1956 Ford Mercury; Second, the 1958 Ford Fairlane (almost, as the Fairlane did in fact NOT hace such hueg tail fins); Third, the 1950 Ford Fortuna; And a group-shot; -And finally a dramatic view of my new favorite (because of the superb colour-combo it uses) Ciao!

The interior decoration is equally impressive. A fantastic job you did! I can´t see how the elegant spiral stair connects to the 2nd floor (childrens room)¿?
-
Nice. Especially the interior. The way the middle part of the building stands out is rather enginious! -Very original!
-
A fantastic creation. Again. I can never tire of that building-style.
-
Thanks. You are much too kind! (lol) I have a Citroën DS 20 (´70´es) on CUUSOO. After several months it has the stunning support of 28 votes! ;-) The problem with my constructions is that they are full of illegal tecniques, and most of them doesnt even roll freely. They are JUST shelf-queens.

Wow, this is amazing. One of the best houses I have ever seen. Everything is good; From teh general layout, choice of colours, the details and odd piezes put to good use, all the way to the incredible detailed back-side. (See The Painted Ladies" on how I do back-sides... ;-) ) If this is a competition, I think it might be over already! LOL Nah, just kidding. Bonne chance!

V-LB-05D Hi again! So, after the Painted Ladies, it´s back to some more car-building. Vehicle #15 (I think that is the count now) rolls out; 50´ies North-American Schoolbus. (Generic); At first I had build the front in all-yellow, but as it looked too modern, it was changed to the -also prototypically correct- black fenders. In teh packet from BrickLink were also the long-awaited blue arcs for the Scenicruiser, so here´s a photo of the 3 big ones together (All 7-wides);

It´s a nice and very "clean"-looking build. The other one (tractor?) looks excellent too!
-
Nice little pocket-park. I didnt notice that it was on an elevated level until I scrolled further down. Great idea. Also very nice and idyllic (sp?) detailing.
-
It´s very nice set. Has a nice amount of sand green. -But the best treat for me, was to see Adam present the set. (He is kind of my Lego-idol) The classic record player with helmet-speaker is genious! But the price-tag.... Uih!

Thanks. I see that you have been studying the photos well. Regarding the cut streetplate; I can´t beleive that almost nobody does this. It adds a level more of flexibility to your layouts, and it is not lost by any means, as you can always install them side-by-side again when needed. See photos from the MegaMOC 2011, on how these "halflings" were put to good use... BTW; The white arch over the entrance of the blue house was also cut; I wanted one of the earlier versions (not closed at the bottom), but was too difficult to obtain. -So I made my own using a new (and abundant) piece... Hehe!
-
Because I´m currently all out! (At least in LBG) Anyway the pavement and road was just a "MOC-up" (hah.. gettit: mock up!) for the photo shoot. ;-)
-
Thanks! No, the garages do not open, but it´s a good idea, so I will modifiy one of them to stay in "open" position, with something coming out of it. It will be a nice effect! Thanks for the idea!

B-RM-10A Hi all, Here´s the first houses for my MegaMOC 2012 project. (And a sneak-peek of the whole layout). ... Victorian houses inspired by the Painted Ladies district in San Francisco. Back-side views and interior decoration (NOT!); Close-up photos of details and outside decoration (Yay!); After the photo-shoot, some much-needed cleaning was performed by one of my trusty old minifigs; ... -And for the final picture; The promised sneak-peek of the upcomming MOC; -Meassuring 12 baseplates long. (MegaMOC 2011 was "only" 10 baseplates) Ciao!
-
Excelletn rendition! Lime is indeed a difficult colour to use. NPU on the death-star!
-
Lovely job. I too am going to do a series of houses in "Victorian" style, and your model has showed me that it is not going to be as easy as I thought... ;-)
-
The MOC is GREAT! I especially love the photo where you see the cash registers from inside the shop-floor. (The first photo on top of this page) But I admit that I am hugely interessted in the negotions and transaction-details as well. -But I udnerstand if you cannot tell everyhting in public...
-
I especially like the white/orange one. Lovely colour-combo.
-
Nice little store. Somewhat different to the fantastic Gas & Gear stoer you are also building...

V-LB-05C 14th vehicle finally hits the City-streets; 1956 GMC Scenicruiser "Greyhound Lines". Probably *THE* most iconic american public transport bus of the ´50ies; Real thing; Side view; Some close-ups; I have to admit that the MOC is slightly WIP, as 14 grey 1x3 curved slopes on the roof will be changed to blue later. Also -as incredible as it may sound- it is the FIRST TIME EVER that I am using stickers on a MOC. So, while I was at it preparing these stickers, another MOC also got a little decoration; Be seeing ya!
-
Most of all I used this picture as inspiration; But as I said; My model is rather generic... Thanks for the nice comment!
-
Absolutly! :-) Between the 3 examples you show, one is spot on... BTW: I´m surprised that nobody guessed on a yellow school-bus. There will be one too, anyway, later... Hehe

Very usefull and detailed review. Thanks!
