B-OM-29A Hi guys, I present you with the barbershop and it´s bigger neighbour (still not specified, but could be turned into the "Five and Dime" shop Lightning Tiger keeps talking about... ) Buildings will not have interior decorations, as this block will be situated in a corner of the layout. The brown building doesnt even have an end-wall. But I DID complete the back-side, as the spectator will be *just* able to catch a glimpse of the behinds; The beown building is done in teh same style as the City Hotel (if somebody still remember the building presented with the Art Deco cinema), which I liked a lot; And for the final photo, a view of the entrance to the barbershop. The sign is still waiting for its sticker. Is the name "B-Sharp" too used already¿?

Very beautiful. Well done!

Nice to see something not SW from you! Excellent!

Yeah, I know! -And I appologize to everybody who normally salutes that flag. It will be fixed before the next public spanish exhibition event. (Although most people there will probably be ignorent (as me) about the fact...)

B-OM-34D & B-OM-34E Hi all, I present you the next part of the MegaMOC 2012 diorama. First, he Art Deco style gran movie theatre; It might not be clear from the photos, but while the roof curves outwards, the glass-wall curves inwards under it! Another view of the curved part; Next to the cinema, there is the small City Hotel; Closeup of teh outside restaurant chairs and teh main hotel entrance; Closeup of some of the detailing of the facade; The other side of the hotel will be next to a Greyhound Tours bus stop, so maybe a big Gryhound billboard ad will go on this wall; And finally a photo for the people who always ask about interior decoration and backside views; Ciao!

I´m glad they put this on the frontpage, so that I got guided to it! ;-) The real hit with this station is the colours and textures. -That also goes for the excellent blue warehouse. Even though they are brilliant (and the train and platform looks really well too!), I have two suggestions; First; You could add raingutters, downpipes and some other super-detailing. Second; The station-building should be a lot bigger, compared to the warehouse, which has a perfect size. (I dare guess that you ran out of brick-bricks¿? -I know I did...) Anyhow... I already know that you are an ace builder, so I hope you can take a little constructive critisism...

It´s really lovely, with some very fine building-skills. The colours are also delightful.

Fantastic. What a great scene. I take it, it is to natural 1:1 size¿? Especially the EARS of the cat are spectaclar.

It´s certainly quite deserving. That should not be one of your worries! ;-) Excellent build! -
MOC: Mini Modular Galaxy Diner and Empire Theater

The micro-version is cute, but original one is excellent! -
Nice cars! I think I´ve seen some of them on MOCpages... Before reading the text, I thought that the driver of the Atom was The Stig. -But now I see that it is indeed a L@go look-alike. Wait, does that mean that maybe The Stig is a norwegian guy¿? ;-)

Thanks. There will be sidewalk, as this is part of a bigger diorama. It´s sidewalsk is currently attached to the Union-76 petrol station, but I havent space enough to set it all up at the same time... This name with be a sticker, and yes; it´s better to keep it short.

Thanks to everybody! The jukebox is inspired by something I found on Misterzumbis Flickr-page (I think) Thaks. I think...?! Seriously¿? Bus-station. Hotel. Cinema. Soda-shop. School... Lots to go! They are original Lego-pieces from a Creator-set with a huge red helicopter with an ingienious motion-function...

It´s a lot of 2x4 wedgeplates alternating.

Hi, I present you yet another piece of american 50´ies culture and history; The roof is semi-transparent. I think this could have happened in 1959, although it isnt exactly common... Thanks to the roof, the interior can be seen very well, almost as if the building had interior lighting; The MOC has a complete interior decoration; I want you to see teh kitchen, but it is very difficult to get a good shot of it; I still havent decided what name to put on the sign. Any suggestions¿?

Really excellent wooden cabin. The idea of the summer and winter modes is good, but I think I would like the house all alone, as it is so excellently done.
-
Here´s the promised photo, although I am sure yo will be disappointed; Because of the roof it is very dificult to get a clear view of the shop, so this is basically just the window-display and the counter in the background, so that even the most curious spectators wont be too disappointed. (Their imagination will make them "see" a fully detailed shop interior. Hehe...)

Thanks ´Tiger! -The van certainly will get a few stickers, but I need to accumulate more texts and signs, before I feed a whole sheet through the printer...

V-LC-18F & V-LV-29E Cars #19 and #20 hits the road base-plates; 1950 Coca-Cola delivery van; 1959 Station wagon; While I find most of the cars from that epoque stunningly beautiful, many different trends, styles and tastes emerged at the same time, and was -unfortunatly- sometimes mixed and blended by the desginers. So let this car be a monument to the humongous desing-failures that was also done during these years; Wooden-style panels, two-tone body paint, white-wall tires, painted matching hubcaps, panoramic windscreen, partly covered rear wheels, huge metal bumpers, grotesque Texas-style longhorn ornament. You name it; This car´s got it! Tasteless galore! This is truly the car "Build for Homer". -Or maybe what the "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" would have looked like 25 years earlier...

Thanks! Yes, it is done simply by the small gap. I think LDD permits up to 3º between bricks, but in reality you can go further without permanently deforming the bricks. In any case the curve used here is much softer than when I make boat-hulls. Well, I hope to improve. At least it will be growing by one base(road)-plate more (From 10 to 11 plates). (Now I wonder who "ER0L" is on MOCpages¿? Never mind; I found out! )

I especially like the green-white house. Always a favorite colour-combo for me. But generally it is clear that you are the master of interior decoration and... stickers!

Excellent! The idea of the trench-run is just fantastic!!! Very well done!

I´m afraid there isn´t much to see, but I´ll post a photo later this evening...
