As said before; A really terrific build! Congratulations on a job well done!
-
Thanks! :-) The jukebox might be a Misterzumbi invention. The clock -and some other pieces, like the sofas, comes from the Friends Veterenarian set. (The clock is actually a weight-scale) It´s definatly NOT a diner! There is a diner next door to this place. It has been posted here on Eurobircks too, and features an interior decoration somewhat like this one...

Hi all, I present you the last building to be finished for the MegaMOC 2012. (Bus&Train station, City Hall and Used Cars Sale already finished, but not published); Namely an american 1950´ies Soda Shop, or Ice Cream Parlor; -Unfortunatly the front of the building will not be directly visible... The building has a fully decorated interior; -At least speaking about the ground floor. The other two floors can be opened also, but for the moment they will not be decorated; As you can imagine, the strong point with this MOC is the interior of the Soda Shop. Here are some close-ups; -Some details has been inspired by a MOC by Legohaulic... Ciao!

Fantastic achievement! I especially like the trees at ground level, but the whole construction is excellent! Congratz for being hired to do this for money! ;-)

Excellent stuff! -Congratulations for making it to Skaerbaek!

I agree, but I want GeorgeCrecy to say it, as it doesnt seem clear to me from the initial presentation. (I actually opened the pictures expecting to see a project like Jumpei Mitsu´s "Yamamoto". Since this is GeorgeCrecy´s first post, I didnt know WHAT to expect...

Welcome to Eurobricks. Good luck on your project. Will you acutally be building this¿?
-
Excellent MOC. -And congratulations for exhibiting the model!
-
Thanks! -Yes, those are "milky white" tires, but I was deceived by the photo on BrickLink, so I had to paint them myself. Thanks! -Hopefully the whole thing will be ready in time for HispaLUG´s annual Expo in Barcelona on the 24th of November this year.

Hum... I know that I have commented on the #6 (Runabout), but don´t see my post here... Oh well, then I can post again and compliment on the #6a; Stunning! Do you actually have that many vintage-tyres, or do you take the cars apart¿?
-
Wow, it´s massive! You´ve incorporated a lot of details on the wheelhouse part, that is nice to see. I also noticed that your camera (or editing) gievs a nice warm colour for the yellow bricks. (or were you just lucky to get all you yellow bricks in that same colour¿?) Finally, I wonder why you placed a battery on the hull-photo¿?

Thanks L@go and lightningtiger! -Unfortunatly I can´t take credit for that technique. I saw it somewhere else, but can´t remember where (sorry). L@go; Thanks for your always enthusiastic comments. My postings on Flickr are never exhaustive (because of the 200 pics limit), so you never really get to se all the details there...

Hi all, Here´s a couple of cars more for the project; First off, a study in Bright Cyan; The HotRod from MegaMOC 2011 adapted to my small collection of pieces in this colour; Car #23 (a pure fantasy vehicle); Car #24 is another study en "Rare Colours", namely a Bright Pink convertible; As these are some of the last cars for the proejct (only a couple of trucks reamins to be made), I´ve wanted to include some kind of constructive details; The lousy clucthing-power of the pink pieces made it necessary to install the blue re-inforcement plate. The pink pieces (all original Lego) can hardly hold themselves together. TLC; What crap is this¿? The next couple of photos shows the always-difficult front of the car; All my cars are done differently. This model in particular features a huge floating (or prisoner) part incoporated; -The floating part is the lower-right one... Lastly a couple of bye-bye pics; Ciao!

Thanks, I think... (Still thinking about what to say here... :-)

Hello everybody! After almsot two months without any new cars for this project, I´m back with a couple of new ones! Again from a famous movie; First off, we have the 1948 Ford De Luxe "White Lightning" (the good guys); Next, the 1949 Ford Mercury from the Scorpions (the bad guys); The two cars together; Final bonus-picture; Ciao!

Excellently detailed design. (as usual ) I cant really tell from the Ldraw pictures if you are giving us some more diagonal pixelating lines of the hull?! The "wow-effect" from your big ships is of course TOPS, but I try to look beyond that... Anyway it certainly doesnt look like you are skimping on details, so I am sure this will be another fantastic build!

Nice horror story! Very well done!
-
Good job on the SNOT trailer; Very original! The pickup is also excellent, although not shown much on the photos...
-
So excellent! Prefect interior decoration too! Congratz!

Again thanks for your comment and the blogging! I´m overwhelmed! Sorry for the late comment, but I´ve been away on vacations. (Visit to Legoland included, of course...) Well, It´s not the only one, some of them are also "typical" colour combinations. But the the reason to use the lavender/grey combo would never have ocurred to me, if it wasnt for finding a real-life reference...

Thanks a lot for your comment! -And thanks for the blog!

B-RM-10B Hi, I decided to add a fifth house to this part of the layout; Beleive it or not, this is actually the only hosue which colour-combination is taken from a real-world Victorian in San Francisco... Sorry about the fuzzy last photo. I actually wanted to show the excellent wood-effect from Nathans "Fishery Cannery" used here also. Ciao!

Impressive collection of figs. Nice dio. My favorite scene; "Warriors. Come out and play-i-aiii..." Other quotes; "You see, what you get when you mess with the Orphans?" "You Warriors are good. Real good.". "The best." Other really cool scenes; The bathroom fight with the scaters, in the metro. Well, that and the chase and fight with the Baseball Furies. Simply too much goodness for just a single underrated movie!

Epic job! At first I thought that the red doors was a little too bold, and mabe a bit off, but then I saw the photos of the real thing! Extremely well done. I especially like the small french flags and the round windows on the roof. Question: How did you do the parking-areas; with cut baseplates and stickers¿?
