I've been wondering if the Kai Fighter is worth picking up. Is it too similar to Jay's Storm Fighter in design, or completely unique? I want Kai in his new form, but I might wait until the summer wave for him.

The Mixels have the best price-per-piece ratio we have seen from LEGO in a while. They could have made them a dollar less, but you get what you get. And yes, I do get a cat vibe from those Nixels! It's the ears, isn't it?

Woah man. I love it! I always found the XT4 set lacking in its design, so it was one of the few Breakout sets I never bothered to have. You revamped him in a very cool way. He looks totally fierce now. Good work!

Interesting looking construction. I cannot wait for that printed piece seen in the set photo!

There is a demo you can download of the game. Check it out here http://videogames.lego.com/en-us/lego-the-hobbit/demo-download# Can't wait for release!

Octan was present on the Skull Twins' jackets in Space Police III, and they were evil. Of course, that doesn't mean much, but it was just a little observation.

Pcvando did a review of it in the Pirates Forum. Still, great review! I cannot pass this set down now. I simply must have it.

The microsite for The LEGO MovIe has been updated with some really cool content. It shows combination models of two sets from two different themes and you can download the instructions to make them. It can be found here http://www.lego.com/en-us/movie/explore/downloads -Ice Cream Cruiser (Level 1 - Space Designer and Ice Cream Machine) -Thermo-Bolt Fire Flyer (Airport Firetruck and Kai Fighter) -Raptor Rally Bike (Turbo Quad and Eagle Legend Beast) -Lion Clan Mark VII (Sunset Speeder and Lion Legend Beast) -Hydro-Turbo Sky Ray (Tow Truck and Thunder Raider) The last model is Emmet's Dimensional Portal Machine, and the site only shows the pieces to build it, without instructions. Personally, I think this is a really cool idea and will give builders inspiration to be creative with their sets! Discuss!

Why am I getting an AT-ST with arms vibe from the Micro Manager... Anyway, great set! It's one of the few sets from this theme I own so far and it is my favorite. The detail of MetalBeard and the accuracy to the film is fantastic! Good job on the review.

Alright, thanks everyone! I've heard great things about Furno Jet Machine, so I think I will get that. It helps that I like Furno the best out of all the mini heroes.

I finally got the chance to see Thor: The Dark World last night. The Marvel Cinematic Universe can't get much better than this. Malekith is a great villain, and I like that it mostly took place in Asgard and it's surrounding realms. Totally gets me stoked for The Winter Soldier and Guardians.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
TheBrickPal replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Has anyone bothered to collect The LEGO Movie McDonald's plastic cups? Contrary to popular belief, they are actually pretty cool things to have. The holographic/3D features work well, and they are great on display near your sets. You could also just use them the old-fashioned way as drinking cups. Not to mention, they come with free child tickets to LEGOLAND. Unfortunately, the app the cups are compatible with is trash and won't scan them at all. The only ones I am missing are Vitruvius and Lord Business.- 2,626 replies

I love Hero Factory, even though BIONICLE will still forever be in my heart. The last time I really purchased a set was the whole Breakout wave in 2012, then I bought Brain Attack Evo and have ignored him since. I really want to get back into collecting the theme. I love what LEGO is doing with the current wave, with walkers, mechs, and minifig-sized heroes. If I were to buy an IFB set to test the wave out, which one should I go for? I'm thinking Evo XL Machine, but I want more opinions.

Wow, I never thought this topic would become so popular to discuss! I enjoy hearing all of your ideas. Let me reply to some. Yeah, I agree with you there. Perhaps a moderator could move this to something along the lines of "Classic Space Reboot Ideas"? I'm all for that! Not having LEGO to invent a new space theme ever again, but maybe with subthemes that are each based on old space themes like Ice Planet, Classic Space, Blacktron, Space Police, and a combination of the human vs alien themes. It sounds perfect. Something like City, but with futuristic buildings in a colony on a planet, would be a dream come true. I can just imagine what sets we could see. Alien pizza shop? If Classic Space were to be revived in some way, I'd be surprised if we don't see quite a few low price point ships with a few useful and colorful parts and a minifigure. Continue discussing, everyone!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
TheBrickPal replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A UCS set usually comes out on May the 4th, in this year's case the Sandcrawler. Hope that helped! -
As all of you should know already, The LEGO Movie is in its own universe. Its story, and all of the minifigures and themes within it, are the creation of a young boy's imagination. I'm sure all of us have our own LEGO universe set for our collection, don't we?

Well, I'm back from the store. Wouldn't you know it, they are sold out of all of Series 1! All that was left was the box display they are put on the shelves in. I'll have to go to Target soon and report my findings there. Oh, well. I left with candy, so I was a pretty happy guy regardless!

Beautiful. I love the monorail, and the landscape. This is what a true space scene is supposed to look like!

Rattler Copter vs Fangpyre Wrecking Ball
TheBrickPal replied to Village80's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Rattlecopter for sure. Great minifigures, great playability, and I love the building techniques used, like the curves at the front. -
This sounds like so much fun! My first contest on Eurobricks, too. I will definitely try to enter soon, but I just need to think...

Epic Dragon Battle from Ninjago has got to be it for me. It is a great value for money. The Ultra Dragon is the coolest Ninjago dragon to be released. The Great Devourer can be used to reenact scenes from the Ninjago TV series. All of the pieces are interesting and in rare colors. The highlight of this set especially is the Green Ninja AKA Lloyd Garmadon, as this is the only way to get this version of his minifigure without having to hunt down his hard-to-find spinner.
