  1. Oh my, this set is amazing. Those who don't think this will go well with the other Winter Village sets can just pretend it is one of those "fake Santa" grotto places. I can do without the reindeer, though... would have loved a new mold!
  2. The recent deadline for projects has ended and six projects have qualified for the review. They are LEGO Bird Project, Modular Apple Store, BTTF - Jules Verne Train, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, and Doctor Who and Companions. More details here https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/1-blog/post/2.
  3. Then where is the appropriate thread for the episode?
  4. I absolutely love all of them, including Major Nixel! Mind if I use the design of him and modify it for an Ideas project?
  5. This hasn't been mentioned yet: HISHE (How It Should Have Ended) posted a rather nicely done episode on YouTube, this time about The LEGO Movie. If anyone knows anything about HISHE, they know that Batman and Superman always appear in every video about a superhero movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I hope you do, as well!
  6. Yeah, that "Right Now!" tab was so helpful and amazing. It no longer exists on the site, but I hope they add it again soon. I already support Galaxy Command and Dragon Slayers, but I added my vote to the Ambulance. These are some very nicely done projects, and I agree that they need all the help they can get!
  7. I still need to update to an LDD version from months ago, but this sounds awesome! Definitely some parts on that list that I wanted.
  8. I noticed! Your Flying Dutchman ship has a very nice build. Congrats!
  9. Apparently, you can support your own projects now. Mwahaha!
  10. Same. I tried like, four times and the email wouldn't resend. Otherwise, the design of the site is slick!
  11. This is simply amazing! The use of the 1x2's with hinges as the noses is ingenious. Great work!
  12. Staying up for the LEGO Ideas launch is going to make me very tired tomorrow...

  13. I just realized something, that isn't entirely off-topic. SpongeBob is voiced by Tom Kenny, who also voiced The Riddler in LEGO Batman: The Video Game, Nathan Evo and Jetbug in LEGO Hero Factory: Ordeal of Fire, Doc Ock in the Ultimate Spider-Man animated television series, and Flain in Mixels. Maybe even more. That's pretty crazy, but not sure if this counts because his acting spans across several themes in multiple genres, not just exclusive to licensed.
  14. Haha! I got a good laugh out of this one. Can he juggle Krazy Glue caps?
  15. Wait, so you aren't planning on putting it on CUUSOO/Ideas any longer? Shame, I would have supported it. That is very cool looking, now that I get to see the apartment up close. The interior decoration in the movie is always pretty cool to look at. Are there images like these for some other models from the movie in the game?
  16. I was talking to Tim Courtney yesterday. He said that the new Ideas labeling will be put on all sets moving forward. I assume that includes Ghostbusters and Exo Suit, as well.
  17. And we wait... lego.cuusoo.com I also see that their Twitter account was updated with a new design. I cannot wait for launch!
  18. Look above. The orange part. It's the current notice on CUUSOO's website. Apparently it will go offline for eight hours in the next day or so, to prepare for the launch of Ideas.
  19. It has begun. http://tinypic.com/r/29y91t/8 Excitement!
  20. As I have gotten the chance to read the FBTB review, I can say that I freaking love this set! So much detail packed into this behemoth. The only criticisms I have involve the minifigures. Luke's face printing is really weird, and he doesn't even have his lightsaber at this point in the film. Beru Lars, although not pivotal to the scene, would have been a nice inclusion. I won't be buying the Sandcrawler in order to save up for the D2C sets from other themes this year, but wow.
  21. Oooh, yes! I am glad this topic was waiting for me, as I've been brainstorming for a while what sets I would like to see from Ninjago and Chima, based off of the TV series. Of course, any hardcore Ninjago fan wants a Borg Tower, right? If it were to released, it would most likely be a D2C set. I'd buy it no matter how expensive it would be. Regular Cyrus Borg w/ buildable wheelchair, plus the new Nya design would be a win. It would include the elevators, Cyrus' office, Nindroid factory, and printed piece of the Digital Overlord. I can see it now. Other sets I would like to see would be Grand Sensei Dareth's Mojo Dojo, the Celestial Clock, Ed and Edna's Junkyard, and perhaps Darkley's Boarding School. Also, that snake bus would have been great, if only it hadn't been scrapped. I do have ideas for Chima, but let me save that for another day! I want that now. I think a Ninjago CMF line would be a big hit for LEGO. I've already got a list of characters we could expect: Dareth, Postman, Captain Soto, No-Eyed Pete, Skales Jr, Mother Doomsday, Hooded Stranger, Brad Tudabone, Gene, Dr. Julien, Misako, Cole's Dad, Ed, Edna, Overlord-Possessed Garmadon, and Kai's Father. There, all sixteen.
  22. Well, it does match up pretty well with the theories that the guy on Tumblr had. I'm really interested to see what would happen in space with the ninja.
  23. Aw man, I feel so bad for you. It's really unfortunate that some people choose to do these things, eh? Good luck.
  24. I'm loving the information of personalities and abilities! This theme is so much fun. Now that I have all of series one, I just cannot wait any longer for series two! I noticed a really weird pattern with the Mixels of series one. In each tribe, there is always a Mixel with one eye, a Mixel with long legs, and a Mixel with neither. Also, each set that includes a Nixel has some interesting feature that separates them from the others of their tribe. With Teslo, it's his tail. With Vulk, it's his hinged jaw and balljoint arms/hands. With Krader, it's his turntable head and giant arm/hand. I've not gotten the chance to test this theory with the other series yet. I just thought I'd share...
  25. I did notice this! It's very interesting and, although unlikely, implies that Ninjago and Exo-Force could take place in the same universe. They both are very similar to each other, when you think about it! Like you, I do hope we see more of these references in the future!
