  1. I saw it on Facebook. Nice design and great use of parts.
  2. Nice version of the Balrog. The DBG really works here. I can remember a version with only black parts. Thanks for sharing.
  3. That looks really good. I love the use of colors in this build.
  4. I agree with LegoRacer1.
  5. You mean the landscape? I think it was finished within 2 weeks. I don't know, I didn't need to rush for the deadline.
  6. Last weekend me and my brother were exhibiting on a event in the east of the Netherlands. We finished the river section by adding some transparant tiles and plates. We also added some plants to decorate the landscape a bit. The boat has his place on the river and we added some transparant elements to create some waves. In the coming week I will continue with trees and plants. Lego World is close now. Comments and feedback are welcome. Sander
  7. Nice build. A fine MOC of a great action scene from the movie. Tan and Dark Tan really works on the floor. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks. You guessed right. I received similar feedback from someone from LowLUG. I think I will use the 2x4 tiles to cover those gaps. Thank you for the feedback. Thank you. Thanks. I am glad things worked out this way.
  9. Thank you. I am planning to use those techniques more often.
  10. Nice build. Maybe you can add some tiles to cover the baseplate.
  11. Hi all, I wanted to create a scene with Doctor Who and I wanted to experiment with floor techniques. The Doctor found out that the Daleks have created a portal to travel through time. The Daleks want to go back to the Time War to save their race from extinction. The Doctor have three Daleks in his vision, but he is not aware there is a fourth Dalek. Clara keep a low profile and stays with the TARDIS. No one have noticed that Weeping Angels are present and absorbing energy from the portal. For more pictures you can go to my Flickr album. Doctor Who Comments and questions are welcome. Sander
  12. A great detailed castle and a nice expansion for the LOTR theme. The rough wall look really good in this build.
  13. Nice saloon. The blue color looks good in the building. Wildstyle is a great addition to the scene.
  14. Great versions of the Daltons. Is the bank inspired from the Lone Ranger set?
  15. Those houses look nice. Great use of colors in these builds.
  16. @SodorBricks Thanks, I will add plants and trees later at Lego World the Netherlands (next month). I do not place the plants and trees on the landscape during the build, because those builds are mostly weak and gets easily broken. And I have to remove them every time I finish a part of a landscape. @Hart New Bob Thanks you.
  17. An update, finally. The Pontoon Plane has his place on the lake and the landscape (jungle) is finished. I have to build some trees for the landscape. Next week I will build them. The desert (the left side of the river) is almost finished. My brother is working on a piramide. Here a picture of the lake with the plane. I am glad I bought enough 1x2 light blue transparant tiles. The next picture is the connection of the middle section with the temple and rocks. Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander
  18. Tomorrow is the event. I show you a few pictures of the Lego Star Wars part in the museum. In the showcases you can see the sets from the first three episodes. A basic layout to display the sets. The turntable with the AT-AT is no longer present. There were problems with the electricity. A basic landscape to present the sets. In the back you can see several UCS models and showcases from stores. An overview of all the showcases and displays in the Lego Star Wars area. I hope to see some of you at the Brick Wars.
  19. I have finished several other vignettes. After the crash, Finn or FN-2187 is walking through the desert on Jakku. In the hallway is TC-4 waiting for Palpatine to arrive. On the Starkiller base a stormtrooper is on the lookout. The stormtrooper is missing the speach from the general outside the base. A stormtrooper sergeant is walking through the corridor on an Imperial Star Destroyer. An A-Wing Fighter Pilot has heard the alarm and must go to the A-Wing Fighter. A droid is walking through the remnants of the battle of Takodana. Wait! That is C-3PO. It is hard to tell because of the red arm. Star Wars Vignettes The pictures are in my Flickr album. Comments and questions are welcome. Sander
  20. Thank you @Actor Builder. The next update will be at the end of the month. The landscape will be finished then.
  21. Nice builds. I really like the use of colors in the town and it is nice to see a nice setting for the Western theme. Nice details in the fence and ground at the bullriding tournament.
  22. This looks good. The ground is really nice and the vegetation is even better. At first I thought that you used cheese slopes at the sides of the mill, but those are tiles. What parts did you use for the windows of the mill?
  23. Great outpost. The use of colors is nice and I like the shape of it as well.
  24. Thanks again, @SodorBricks. I hope I can finish the landscape this month. If the landscape is finished, I can focus on the trees and plants.
