That is a good looking version of the set. I didn't know that as well. I found that out a few years ago.

That is a great Scout buggy. I have always loved the color scheme of Blacktron.
-
That is a very nice version of the Saucer Scout. I love the landscape you've build. Are you planning to build other vehicles/spaceships as well?
-
Nice to see a big Penguin army. I have a smaller army I want to use in a landscape.
-
Thank you for mentioning me. I'll do my best to build in various themes. I hope to build the entire journey of the Orient Expedition in one landscape. On topic: Great build for a mansion. The car is a nice addition to it I am looking forward to your next update of the Adventurers theme.

sander1992 replied to sander1992's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks. @Lyichir I can agree with you there, but i couldn't find a way to build it in this build (not properly). Maybe I can change it later (if I see how).- 2 replies

Hi everyone, I have build my own version of the 6496 Whirling Time Warper for an event in april in Germany. The time machine is larger and different from the set. The Whirling part of the time machine is motorized. For more pictures you can visit my Time Cruisers album. Feedback and questions are welcome. Sander

Hi everyone, I participated on a contest of LowLUG. The contest was to build something what has something to do with: in fire and flame. Maximum 16 x 16 studs and 20 bricks high. The third and last build was Sirius Black. I wanted to create the face of Sirius Black in the fire. I had the printed tile as example for the shape, but the colors of the printed tile were terrible. I used a lot of spike (?) parts for the hair, but it felt incomplete and I had no idea to change it. For more pictures see my Flickr album Sirius Black. Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander

Hi everyone, I participated on a contest of LowLUG. The contest was to build something what has something to do with: in fire and flame. Maximum 16 x 16 studs and 20 bricks high. This is the second build for the contest and it is based on the Wonder Woman movie. I wanted to create the fighting scene with Ares on the airport which was on fire. But with a max of 16 x 16 studs, I abandoned the idea had focused on another scene from the movie. Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman have liberated the town called Veld from the Germans. After dancing, drinking and singing, Steve and Diana staying at the hotel and kiss each other for the first time. For more pictures visit my Flickr album Wonder Woman Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander

Hi everyone, I participated on a contest of LowLUG. The contest was to build something what has something to do with: in fire and flame. Maximum 16 x 16 studs and 20 bricks high. The first build was Ghost Rider. I created the motorcycle, which is a bit too big. The street and house was realized quick. Unfortunately I did not have the parts to create a better lamppost. For more pictures visit my Flickr album Ghost Rider. Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander

That is a nice car. I love the use of Tan and new pieces in the car. When I look at the back of the car, it feels unfinished. Perhaps you can make it more like a truck based on 5988 or 7622. I love the pallet with crates and the flat train car.

o, oops. I should read better.

Nice work on the shape of the whale. The idea of an island on the top of it is great. What kind of cloth did you use as sail?
-
Nice work on the shape and the details on the front. Thanks for sharing.
