Beautiful scene again Ecc, love the mix of great building and story crafting. The face turned out very nicely, and the expression clearly states "don't mess with us!" Like Gabe said, the photography turned out wonderful!

Wonderful work again Gideon, I'm loving your Kaliphlin style. Excellent use of some rare colors too! I wouldn't complain about your photography, that long exposure shot turned out perfect!

Ch II: Team DeGothia: Cat B: Treating the Sick
MassEditor replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow Gideon, you are truly a master of Kaliphlin architecture! The dark tan details and the Lancet arches are great touches. This is such a wonderfully detailed scene, great posing and facial expressions too. Always a pleasure to see your work!- 30 replies

Hey mccoyed, this is some neat stuff here. I love the scene and the characters (the pike squad in particular looks very menacing), some very awesome back stories! The black flag in between the red and gold is a very nice touch. Good work dude!

AoM Stables phase2: Precious Cargo
MassEditor replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wonderful scene! Those trees are exquisite, such a clever use of those creeper parts. The mushroom/seaweed combo is excellent too. But yeah the prison carriage really steals the scene here. Very intricate! Can't wait to see how this develops (there will be more, right?!?) -
Avalonian Second Task: Departing for Albion
MassEditor replied to Gilbert Despathens's topic in Guilds of Historica
Excellent stuff again Gilbert! I'm really digging that rockwork and the house design is absolutely gorgeous. The dock is ingeniously done too. Like Gideon said, the ground could use a little churching up but other than that this is top notch!- 26 replies

Some excellent parts usage here (I guess now I'll actually have to go get some of those Chima things with the mixel parts) especially the shaping of the horns on the top of his head and the wings (are those flying jibs from the Black Pearl set?). The stand and posing are pretty sweet too! Good work dude!

So first you are named Hersir of the Cavalry and now you wish to rule the high seas too, eh Garmadon? This looks very nice for a ship of her size, definitely like the brick built hull and the rudder mechanism! Please, more pics! You are so right about this. I didn't notice that effect until I read this, and it definitely adds to the atmosphere. Good eye!

Ch II: Team Simon: Cat C: The Betrayal.
MassEditor replied to odidoma's topic in Guilds of Historica
Awesome work odidoma! That mountainside and posing is epic! That plateau is really cool, and how you positioned the airborne soldier is perfect. Really nice work! You got a cool thing going on with the waterfall, but one thing I would suggest, just for a bit more realism, is adding a stream running away from the pond since water has to flow somewhere. -
Thanks a lot! I definitely have spent more time at work daydreaming about exploring those towers than I should! Thanks Gabe! The landscape was definitely my focus with this one. I've never really messed around with SNOT rockwork until my last two builds on GoH, and this time I really wanted to try some things. I think that's why I've so quickly become addicted to this forum, there is a ton of inspiration on GoH (such as yourself) which constantly drives me to build outside my usual styles. And I take no disrespect at all, I relish the times I get to point out she's wrong! Thanks man! I guess you could say I have a lot of pent up LEGO frustration!

Nice job with the tower and photography. I like those battlements and that little balcony area. Sounds like Illarix will have a good adventure coming his way!

Great stuff, I'm sure this will be awesome when its done. The layout seems very nice, and has a nice "tunnel" feel to it. The rooms are a little sparse (I'm sure you're still working on that) but otherwise I see some great potential here. I look forward to seeing this done! I've got a Bags End I've been working on for a while now, but you have done a much better job it seems keeping to the floor plan.

Theon Turncloack - "Game of Thrones" scene
MassEditor replied to Wat Tambor's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wonderful work Wat Tambor! This is such a beautiful but ominous scene. Great photography too. I've never watched GoT, but I'm sure you did a fantastic job recreating this scene! -
Nice little scene David, very amusing! That tree in particular is well done, and the fellows running to put the fire out. You know, I was in a candle shop once (yeah, some still exist) and they had a bunch of the candles lit. I just knew that was going to be a bad idea one day.

A lot of details to like here, especially the color scheme and all the deck goings-ons. A neat flamethrower system too. Good work!

Thanks a lot! Thanks David! I built this scene with that photo in mind actually. Thanks Infernum! Those sand-green tiles really add a nice, subtle color difference to all that dark tan and dark bley. Thanks Carson, I appreciate the feedback! Haha thanks Kayne but now that I feel somewhat caught up around here, I'm kinda ready for a small break! Thanks, glad you noticed him! Thanks a lot! Thanks Gunman, you're gonna make me blush now , that means a lot coming from an excellent builder like yourself! Thanks dude! Thanks LV, I'm loving your Nocturnus builds right now! Thanks a ton Scaevola! I'm glad you like the tree. It wasn't my original intention but in the finished build it certainly takes the center of attention! Thanks! The towers are indeed based on Derfel's, the only big difference is the holes in the walls and the wooden supports for effect. It's such a great design and, most importantly considering the deadline, very quick to build! (I remember seeing Derfel's MOC using this tower design, and it alone pulled me out of the dark ages and back into LEGO ). Thanks, but as we seen the last week there's some unbeatable talent over in Nocty, thanks to Z and Torgar. I feel like a bug among giants! Thanks a ton guys!

I just read that in your intro, very sorry to hear it!

This is a fantastic scene! Love that water and especially those trees. Awesome work!

Incredible gentlemen! I've been waiting to see these combined for what feels like ages now. I'm left pretty much speechless. This is just phenomenal! I know I haven't been here long, but I've never been prouder to be a Nocty! -
Nice ship Carson, the scene is great too! Very clean ship and I like the use of the horse helmet!
