  1. Let the rumor mill begin. We *need* a Thrawn minifigure. I've got to think he's coming now. He will sell sets. I'm going to guess he'll show up in an expensive set. No, he's called out by name - Grand Admiral Thrawn. Regarding your spoiler - yes! And I've got to think he'll be in a set as well. Also, a YT-2400 showed up. And Y-Wings. Ripe ripe ripe for sets.
  2. Jungle Cruise boat is awesome. I asked my wife to marry me on the Jungle Cruise. Now I'm going to have to build that!
  3. That's the link that was posted elsewhere, but it looks like PopSugar has pulled the article.
  4. I know we're not supposed to post here unless we've got photos, lol. On another board I'm on, photos were posted. I would repost them, but I can't confirm that they're official photos. Will post more if I can find out more.
  5. Trying to build a West Coast Avengers lineup?
  6. From the first post - did you mean 2017? I was a little confused when I opened this thread. Thanks for setting it up, though! Is speculation allowed? e.g., do we think we'll get a new/different Millennium Falcon, with a different set of figures this time around?
  7. Music Meister. I hope we can get a NPH voiced Music Meister even for just a few seconds in the movie.
  8. The Rebel A-Wing polybag was a giveaway during Star Wars Days at Legoland California at the beginning of June. It was available for two days only, free GWP with a $30 SW LEGO purchase. It's been online for sale since then. No word yet on whether it will be available anywhere else (or when), but I suspect it will show up again somewhere else.
  9. I live in California (have for 40+ years). I can confirm that we don't have to change plates when the style changes. Once you're assigned a plate, you can keep that plate as long as you want. You can even transfer the plates to a new car. I have a family member that got their personalized plate during the 84 Olympics (hosted in Los Angeles). The state made a special plate for that year. They still have that plate - they've just transferred that plate from car to car throughout the years. California just cares that you have a plate, not what style it is. Just the last year, they reintroduced the Yellow lettering on Black plate again. It's been confusing some people to see the "old" plate on brand new cars.
  10. Go here: https://wwwsecure.us.lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts/sale You'll have to type in the set number and then search for that particular part.
  11. Okay, that's what I must be remembering. I haven't watched the video since that day, but I remember that the size was something specifically called out.
  12. Not sure why. I thought the LEGO Ideas video said they were keeping it the same size?
  13. Yep. It's out on the convention floor. You can take pictures all day long.
  14. You're right. Temple of Airjitsu was the other set that was revealed at SDCC last year.
  15. Brickset has had 10254 Winter Train listed as Winter Village 2016 for awhile,
  16. This is what I was hoping it was, when I saw your title. As a huge fan of LOST, I love it.
  17. Exactly how I felt after I was done testing yesterday. I felt like once I got the hang of it, the order of parts was very easy to accomplish. I remember spending a lot of time ordering parts previously, and this took almost no time at all. I think doing things "the old way" is what got in my way yesterday.
  18. Yeah, but that's east coast. Not Cali. ;) Loving this Bug. It looks like it should be easy to make it a two-tone. I'd love to two-tone it white.
  19. I put Bricklink through a pretty good trial today. It was a pain at first, trying to figure out how to adapt my previous workflow, but, by about half way through, I got the hang of it, and I was pretty happy in the end. I had items from two different Want Lists in play, and used those to search Cheapest Stores. Found the 98 items I wanted across five stores. I easily check out each store for feedback, eliminated one store, grabbed a different store from the "other stores" list (that had my item), and then was able to quickly place my orders. So quick that some of my order numbers were either sequential or just two digits higher. The work came in sorting my orders and my Want Lists. My usual workflow is to "move" an item from the Want List it is on, to a second Want List with the name of the shop. This way, I can see what I've ordered when an order has come in, and verify that all my pieces are there (yes, I also check the invoiced order too). The "Have" option is nice, because it gave me a real look at how close I was to having ordered all my parts. In the end, I placed 5 orders in less than 2 minutes, and after sorting through my orders, everything from my Want Lists was successfully ordered. I just decided to force my way through it today, and was pretty happy that I did. We'll see how it goes once the orders roll in, but I'm pretty confident that all is good.
  20. Great review! While I enjoy Angry Birds (the game), I was a little skeptical about the sets. However, being a lover of all Lego ships (that aren't your standard "city" ships), I thought - hmm...this looks interesting. And I was right. My 4 year old and I put this thing together, and we love it. Lots of fun little things on it, great playability; it will go on display and hopefully be joined by my Sea Cow (once I finally break it out).
  21. You are right - if you look under themes, Mixels are no where to be found. But if you do a search for Mixels, it does bring them up. All but two of the Firefighter Mixels are sold out; those two are listed as "Call to Check for Availability."
  22. Ah! Is that what that percentage is about? I couldn't figure out what that number meant.
  23. I was looking at the Harley Quinn minifig from Dimensions this morning, and noticed it had a double sided head.
  24. I choose to believe this is your way of hinting that Voltron is happening. ;)
