  1. That's a compromise? Wow! That looks great.
  2. That actually gives me hope that it will get made. Although, I guess if it's had "recent" competition, maybe it won't. Who knows? If the license wasn't available, though, it wouldn't have been approved for Ideas. Remember back a couple years ago, Ideas had in their user agreement that you could not submit Doctor Who sets (because the license was with Character Builder). Then one day, it was off the list, and people started submitting sets. I'm guessing K'Nex doesn't own the license anymore.
  3. 7) Clumsy Guy Entry (Build by Actor Builder) - 1 point 10) Astronaut Entry (Build by Karl Kream Pie) - 1 point 56) Tribal Woman Entry (Build by General Magma) - 1 point
  4. 8) Series 12 - Battle Goddess Entry (Build by Vorkosigan) - 1 point 38) Series 12 - Prospector Entry (Build by FrankM) - 1 point 41) Series 12 - Fairytale Princess Entry (Build by soccerkid6) - 1 point Wish I could vote for everyone!
  5. Take a look at the store's terms to see what the store owner's policy is on sending out packages. It's quite possible that they only mail on weekdays. If you paid on Friday, it may have been too late to mail out, which would mean Monday to the earliest.
  6. Yeah, that's not what resellers do. If you buy everything in sight, you're doing it wrong.
  7. Grabbed all the Series 3 Microfighters (except for the Snowspeeder). All the rest looked awesome.
  8. Can confirm, it worked for me last December. I ordered about $90 worth of B&P parts, and than one 10 cent part from PAB. As soon as I put that 10 cent brick in the cart, it flipped to free shipping.
  9. I was watching LEGO Batman Be-Leagured again today with the kids, and I was reminded how much I *need* a Batmite minifig.
  10. This. This is a tree house. Wow. It's awesome, fantastic, and amazing. It looks fantastic! Thank you for sharing.
  11. 23 25 30 41 52 Too many to choose from! Everyone did a fantastic job. Sorry that I can only vote for 5.
  12. I'm really curious to see how integrated the Airjitsu Temple Grounds are with the Temple of Airjitsu.
  13. I love the idea of sets that would support an amusement park or fairground, but worry that it means the end of a true fairground theme. I guess we'll have to wait and see. As for 41123 Colt Laundry Should that be Coin Laundry? Or are the poor horses getting machine washed?
  14. Those would both be good, but I'd also like to see Jessika Pava. Have we ever gotten a female X-Wing pilot? (I honestly don't know).
  15. Very nice! Can't wait for the instructions, as I'd love to add this to my ever growing row of Mini Modular and TRU sets that are taking up space on my desk.
  16. I *really* hope so. Easy way to expand the fairground theme.

Yes, please! I'm slowing starting my own fairground MOC. I love what you've done here, and would love to put one in my fairground.
  18. If you can't complete your order on B&P, there's a trick to saving your cart for later....put the stuff you want in you cart, and then confirm you order. Go all the way through to checkout, so it takes you to S@H. Don't go through your checkout. Then, later, log into your S@H account first, and go to your cart. Then click on the B&P link. That will take you back to B&P and let you continue your order.
  19. I've got to admit, I never before today, realized I needed an Apache Chief minifig. That looks great!
  20. Wow! Of course, I just put in an order last weekend, looking for some of those parts, and of course, they weren't available. Guess I'll be putting in another order today. Thanks!
  21. The entire article is about the licensing push for the new film.
  22. The article specifically quotes Mark Caplan, Sony Pictures’ new senior vice president of global consumer products. He states, "Alongside Mattel, we have LEGO on board, Funko doing Pop! Vinyl and Rubie’s is making costumes. It’s expansive. We have something for everyone, whether you’re a collector or an everyday toy buyer.” ToyNews article here. Certainly that isn't Lego announcing anything. But you have the rights' holder stating that they have a deal with a licensee to produce toys for them. I'm firmly in the camp of, "Lego is going to produce sets related to the new movie."
  23. I thought about that, but I tried to be creative considering costs, and that Ten and Eleven would already appear in other sets. Some Doctor sets could easily be big money sets (especially something with 4 or 10 in it), but other sets are going to have to come in at a bit less.
  24. Thanks for posting! We're annual passholders, but it's been a few weeks since we've been there (first week of October). The Build-a-Boat area wasn't done yet. The Build-a-Boat is always a hit with my kids when we are in the water park - so I can see this being a big draw for them, too. I don't know why I've never noticed all the fun decorating for Halloween. Most of that wasn't there during the first Brick or Treat at the beginning of the month. At least, I don't remember seeing any of that. I think we're headed back for the last Brick or Treat this coming Friday, so we will be on the look out for all of these things. PS - I can tell you're from SoCal when you try to avoid Carlsbad in the hotter summer months. :) We are spoiled here, aren't we?
  25. Here's my wishlist. I want to see a set for each Doctor: First Doctor - Totter's Lane, with First Doctor, Susan, Ian, and Barbara and the Tardis. Or, "The Aztecs", with the four of them as well inside the pyramid as a small playset (with one way trap door). Second Doctor - "Tomb of the Cybermen" with Second Doctor, Jamie, Victoria, and Cyber-Controller and Controller chair? Third Doctor - Unit HQ with Third Doctor, Brigadier, Jo, and Delgado Master. Basically, the Doctor's lab, with non-functional Tardis in the corner. Fourth Doctor - "Genesis of the Daleks" with Fourth Doctor, Sarah and Ian, and Davros with Davros chair. Fifth Doctor - "Earthshock" with Fifth Doctor, Adric, Nyssa, Tegan, and Cyberman. The bridge of the starship can be the setting for the playset. Sixth Doctor - Sixth Doctor and Peri, but I have no idea what a good story or monster or setting would be. Seventh Doctor - I hate to go back to the Daleks, but "Remembrance of the Daleks" is a great story. Plus, it takes place at Cole Hill School and has the Seventh Doctor and Ace. And Ace has her baseball bat. Eighth Doctor - You could do the Eighth Doctor and Charlie on the R101, or Eighth Doctor, Charlie, and C'rizz. Or, you could do the Eighth Doctor, Ohila (High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Karn), and young War Doctor on Karn. War Doctor - Some sort of 50th Anniversary set, with "the Moment," War Doctor, Zygon, and Queen Elizabeth. Ninth Doctor - "Bad Wolf" / "Parting of the Ways" with Ninth Doctor, Rose, and Captain Jack. Aboard the space station? Tenth Doctor - "Silence in the Library" with Tenth Doctor, astronauts, Vasta Narada, and River Song. In a library. Eleventh Doctor - "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" with Eleventh Doctor, Amy, Rory, and a dinosaur. On a spaceship!
