Great addition / explanation: sometimes it is really hard if one deals with electronics on a daily base to keep it understandable for 'lay people'. Mould King huh, I guess they use ESP32 microcontrollers in their hubs?!

Nice find! The local glass fitters would have likes this one probably very much ;) Apart from that: I wouldn't know where to find one, but some here might know of course!

Very nice!!!

Haha now I get it! So lot's of strategy behind it! The 10173 is also a nightmare story for me b.t.w. we saw it in Billund back in the day, but let it go without buying it (huge mistake obviously).

Nice one, very recognizable. -
Yup better put it in a separate discussion thread.

Seems to me you could make a business out of selling glass cases ;) Very nice @MAP Tec.

Nice build, but you know that e.g. iPhones have "Night shift" mode to minimize blue light after a certain time. Apart from that, here is an interesting article on the:  https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2352721821000607 "These study findings suggest that not using a smartphone was superior to use of phone with Night Shift for emerging adults obtaining adequate sleep; those who were consistently receiving less sleep showed no differences in sleep outcomes, regardless of phone or Night Shift use before bed. We conclude that aspects of phone use beyond short-wavelength light must be contraindicative to sleep, such as engagement in stimulating activities (eg, social networking, texting) that increases physiological arousal that makes sleep difficult. Future research that examines these unique contributions of phone use on sleep outcomes is critical."

Strange markings on almost every piece?
JopieK replied to ChrisXY's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A mold can easily be 100.000 euro b.t.w. and they do wear, so also need maintenance. LEGO also tries to maximize precision. But apart from that you are right. Those marks @ChrisXY are the connections (called gates) where the molten plastic is was injected into the part cavities of the mold. For most parts they are somewhat hidden, mold designers try to place them at covert locations but that is not always feasibly and actually virtually every molded part has them (not only LEGO). See: https://prototool.com/sprue-in-injection-molding/ https://www.dakumar.com/knowledge/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-Sprues.html -

JopieK replied to AlmightyArjen's topic in LEGO Town
@AlmightyArjen very cool! Of course you should replace that Arduino with a Pi with LEGO HAT but apart from that ;) Just kidding. Splendid work!- 14 replies

After another 9 (hopefully more) useful messages in our forums you can send @snaillad a PM, that would be a lot better strategy. Thanks for joining but also remember to read and adhere to the rules to keep it tidy.

No I would agree that it is not for me either, but still we get more of those Train parts (and b.t.w. this one is much, much better than the previous version set 4855 I think).

JopieK replied to Seboki44's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
@Seboki44 thanks for joining Eurobricks. Good LEGO design is basically Engineering which is hard to do. I designed a shop for the family of my sister in law. It took me maybe 60 hours, so it will be hard to find someone who has time enough to do it for you. -
Yup we can talk about leaks but please don't share direct links to leaks. It is tricky of course to read NFC and/or RFID at enough high speed, I did some tests, but it would be nice of course.

Nice one! That is always a good idea to try to make a much more affordable version :) I have it, but it is still in storage, hope I will have it back in the summer holidays.
