@Toastie wow that is nice stuff! You have a complete computer museum there :) You could first use an FPGA maybe before you make the PCB version?
-
Nice review! I got a few of them for Prime Day to part for our Bricklink shop and they contain great parts and I like the Friends vibes it brings to the minifig world.
-
Interesting. Thanks for the update. I think I'm still in denial, but due to LEGO's lack of innovation regarding trains (well, on those two new track parts for the "snow train") and Powered Up, you're practically forced to resort to Chinese parts or a 3D printer, right?

I think I missed the fun ;) Thanks guys for keeping us sharp.

Wow marvelous job @Brickstone_City. Thanks so much for sharing! -
I am in the process in upgrading everything to MILS and that helps a lot. I don't want to hijack your topic, but if I find the time I'll share my built (I even demonstrated it today to my undergraduate students :)).

[MOC] Hilltop Station: A Neo Fabuland train station

Wow that would have been a great idea for a real set! Nice details / colors / everything! -
Well this is a LEGO forum, so maybe try a Mould King forum? Apart from that, welcome to Eurobricks.

It just doesn't work like that: it is virtually impossible to get it "first things right" the actual ink, the decal material, the background color (i.e. the color of the bricks), everything matters. I would suggest you use an iterative approach, try out how it looks, adjust, and that over and over again till it is acceptable to you.
-
Maybe 3D-scan it? Or do an interactive 3D modeling approach (modeling, printing, adjusting the model, printing, etc). Update: Actually I thought of another approach, you could export the thing from Studio and then try to import it in a 3D design program.
-
Probably the Chinese one's?! I don't have experience with them but I guess they have the technology and opportunities to do so.

Printing inks are not RGB, but CMYK possibly even more so-called spot colors (including white for transparent stickers etc).
-
Yup I totally understand. It is sometimes frustrating. It does not take anything away from the fact that you did a splendid job!

are the white dots on Lego bricks common or is mine fake😔

If you pay close attention you see the sprue before it is ejected from the mould. -
The best way is to use vinyl. But it is tricky and costly (at least at low amounts).
-
Really nice @Brickstone_City. (I only realized after reading the text it was not LEGO bricks).
