  1. Nice carriage you have there! Reminds me of the Santa Fe! Very well done.
  2. I suspect or the overcurrent/heat protection kicks in or the receiver is faultive. It can be a combination of both of course. Philippe has the most extensive information about the electronics: https://philohome.com/pfrec/pfrec.htm This might also be of use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql2Eu88BrVA
  3. Very nice @Lasse. Looks very consistent and captures Matthew 14:22-33 perfectly I think.
  4. Great work @Ferro-Friki. Nice parts usage :) also the way you managed to squeeze in the power up parts.
  5. Both sets are very nice! Thanks for sharing @Reker1000000.
  6. It is a shame that our German friend decided to quit his endeavors as he thought no one was interested. Pybricks also seems to be a viable solution: https://github.com/undera/pylgbst But adding something like an ESP32 (with e.g. Arduino) to the system would be nevertheless be a great way to solve these problems. As it is 'loose coupling' it would even be acceptable for the more purist fans. Maybe the Pi Hub (Build HAT) would be acceptable even for the purists as it was an official cooperation between Raspberry Pi and LEGO. If I get the chance (I mean if I have again a place to put my LEGO up and take it out of storage) I will definitely move to that direction I'm sure.
  7. Very nice Liam, a really great tank engine!
  8. Looks nice @Kivi. I like the Faller items for inspiration too!
  9. Great tutorial @Reker1000000. You could probably even make a DIY vacuum molding solution to replace the platic internals. I guess you could even mold styrofoam but it will be a bigger challenge.
  10. It is a train, so should be fine here. But if you want it in Town, let me know!
  11. Again nice work Liam!
  12. Clever ideas @witchy, thanks for sharing. (I pinned it in fact!).
  13. Welcome @Pumpernickelsputnik! Enjoy your stay.
  14. Nice little trolley @Liam Biggs.
  15. There might be interest though (at least from people including myself). But sometimes people have other priorities. Mine include getting my PhD (part-time next to teaching) and building a new LEGO room. Still very valuable work @Lok24. Last week I was for my work at the inaugural lecture of a colleague at some other university and students were using the Py to control all kinds of LEGO hubs.
  16. Hopefully a tribute to the LEGO Trains 12V era :)
  17. Nice one Murdoch17. Will fit in well with the rest of your designs!
  18. Welcome Craig! Enjoy your stay!
  19. Will be a great wagon to put batteries in in case one uses Powered Up and/or Power Functions.
  20. Hi lentcity. Welcome to Eurobricks. I would suggest to start in a vector program like Inkscape or illustrator. There are many tutorials on YouTube etc. on how you create these effects. It costs quite some work but you learn a lot from that (I know as I have done it with many, many LEGO stickers in the past).
  21. Nice work Andy. You created both a classic and modern look by combining studs and new parts and colors.
  22. Yup, very nice find! Especially for 60267 where the torso would also be perfect. (I happen to have all those sets, but that was for the animals in them :))
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks @GrandPixelMan and also to Train Tech.
  24. Do you also have a still? So I can add it to the FP post :) Apart from that welcome indeed and of course we hope to see many more great creations!
