  1. @Metroliner1983. Thanks for sharing your very clever design. Also: welcome to Eurobricks in general and Train Tech in particular. Tip for next time, it would be better to make a new topic and link to the old one (this one was from 2017 originally).
  2. Hope we will see a new Powered Up iteration for 60509? https://www.bricktastic.nl/lego/grote-lijst-met-nieuwe-lego-sets-voor-2026-gelekt-update/ says: LEGO City 60506 City Seaside Tramway (june 2026, blue tram) LEGO City 60511 Retro Steam Train (June 2026, loc with tender and a passagercar, 575 bricks)
  3. Wow @LL1982 thanks for sharing. I might do that to my 7750 some day! Have had it since I was a child. Lighting of the cars also worked out very well.
  4. @Clone OPatra very nice review! I already noticed you preparing it haha ;) It is indeed a great set. I was totally surprised by the new track parts.
  5. Yes I guess @Toastie and @dr_spock make some good points. Maybe an IR thermometer could also give some insights?
  6. Welcome @old men. Are you also 1000steine member? Looking forward to seeing your work!
  7. Great! @bricks n bolts thanks again :) Very useful tutorial.
  8. Hey @steamengine welcome to Eurobricks and Train Tech. This is the perfect place to discuss improving the model I would say. However don't use Eurobricks just as an Ideas bill board that is not why we are here :) (I see you also use reddit for that purpose, I understand that it is a way to gather support, but then put effort in the communities as well!!!) Did you base it on:
  9. Janco I think you should be able to remove the pins to the sides. The wagon of the freight overhauling set 7823 has red axle pins (at least mine has).
  10. Nice one @Murdoch17. Will u also be going for the upcoming bricklink designer program Brick Railroad Locomotive?
  11. @bricks n bolts maybe you can fix it, is a great tutorial indeed!
  12. Wow, great additions to your rolling stock @Brickstone_City.
  13. Great one @snaillad. Art deco is very cool indeed! Works very well in LEGO bricks.
  14. Very smart. Most children like such a nice small details and small jokes hidden in plain sight. Although my experience is that often parents are way too impatient and sometimes literally drag their children along.
  15. Definitely some "Jan van Haasteren" vibes (famous jigsaw puzzels, he also always includes certain things like Sinterklaas on the roof and out of place animals).
  16. Very nice @mahjqa. Just wondering if they will ask you for a new Gold Rush series on Discovery channel.
  17. Thanks for sharing. Many splendid builds!
  18. Wow very nice @alois. Whish I had the opportunity to visit you, but was too crazy with my work / research alas.
  19. Hmm interesting, let’s call mr Amazon then… Makes sense though as our Ring alarm is also experiencing problems with the cloud side of the app. single point of failure. I’ll try it to then also when I’m at home @Murdoch17. I needed to print out shipment labels so somewhat inconvenient but the customers wouldn’t hopefully mind an extra day since nowadays the postal services test our patience anyway! @1963maniac thanks for the suggestion but probably most people here had a good incentive to fix their accounts to be able to participate in the bricklink series 7 sets.
  20. I cannot login on Bricklink anymore? Getting a white screen. It happens on both or Mac's, Safari/Chrome/Brave. There should be maintenance on the 22nd, but that is two days from now.
  21. My bet :) But at least you could verify if it works, but the perf board would also do the job of verification of course!
  22. @Toastie wow that is nice stuff! You have a complete computer museum there :) You could first use an FPGA maybe before you make the PCB version?
  23. Nice review! I got a few of them for Prime Day to part for our Bricklink shop and they contain great parts and I like the Friends vibes it brings to the minifig world.
  24. Interesting. Thanks for the update. I think I'm still in denial, but due to LEGO's lack of innovation regarding trains (well, on those two new track parts for the "snow train") and Powered Up, you're practically forced to resort to Chinese parts or a 3D printer, right?
