Do Minifigs count towards Piece Count?
emilstorm replied to smoothbit's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would think levers count as one piece. -
Do Minifigs count towards Piece Count?
emilstorm replied to smoothbit's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I am not 100% sure but i think Lego counts a minifig as 3 parts, legs, torso assembly and head. -
I have nno idea how they develope their prototypes, but I can't imagine that they would use a different kind of plastic. What you are describing sounds more like somebody made a copy, like a resin cast or something.

That's nice, I like the shape

I like it, there is definedly progress I didn't even notice the thumb. The lighting is much better on this one, there is however a little reflection of some movement on the little guys desk, very minor detail! The stop motion is still good. Nice to see some experimentation with the background, I think you could probably find a picture that fits better though In this little scene I think it works very well that you made the view a little smaller, the more space you cover, the more stuff you have to put in there. The focus is also much better this time, be careful not to bring the guy to close to the camera, I think the limit for good focus on your camera is somewhere around where the printer is, so just keep the action at that distance. I doesn't have to be any closer, I think it would be a very good distance, it sort of just looks nice within the frame there Good work Mr Brick_Tan_Fan!

Where to purchase, and information about Modulex!
emilstorm replied to rollerbones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Just found this for sale second hand http://www.dba.dk/legetoej-modulex-lego-mo/id-1007840012/. Probably only good if you live in Denmark, the condition looks very good from the pictures -
I just had a second look and noticed the palm tree trunk posing as a root, that's brilliant! I really like your plants in general

They should really make those board game micro figures with normal printed heads and bodies for use as little kids.

Serious question about Lego flowers
emilstorm replied to BirdOPrey5's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like them stud up This makes me want to build something with flowers. I guess for variety you could mix them up a little, after all flowers come in many shapes -
MOC/WIP Smit Zwarte Zee Ocean tug from1963
emilstorm replied to Konajra's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow! It's huge! Do you have an idea how much this is going to weigh? My best guess is... a lot -
That lloks quite amazing! the water effects are really good and all the different kinds of plants work very well. I think the floating rocks work perfectly, the ground ones are maybe a little too flat in their shape, but I guess that's a matter of taste. Overall quite spectacular

Welcome to the forum, interesting videos:)

Hehe, that sure is blocky It reminds me of these 2 little tanks i build when i was a kid, i used to have this little game with ,self where i would ram them into each other on the livingroom floor till they were completely broken, then rebuild, and do it over and over again Back on topic, I have made some pretty horrendous stuff over the years, but none exist today, only as horrible memories I like this topic though, and your MOC! Maybe I will try to reconstruct some of my bloopers and post, it may have a therapeutic effect

It's cool! Great shape and nice interior. And good solution for the flip up thing on the side :)

You are definedly keeping up the standard Those turnstiles are awesome!
-
Very cool micro design, and excellent use of the trophy guy, after you see it done it seems like such an obvious thing to do, I probably never would have thought of it though
-
Thats a lot of interesting stuff in one build, pushing the brick to the limit. Just impressive!
-
It has a very interesting shape. I do believe mysterious is the word
-
Some very interesting use of parts The colors are great, matches the little guy perfectly

Zero, I am that stupid guy that never activated that thingy about 4 years ago, and just now realize that i could have had billions!
