A lazy, floating breeze blew through the forest. The dead leaves rustled and danced to its music as the little animals around gamboled in and out of their holes. Presently the wind died down and the leaves glided back down, too. The animals pricked up their ears as the whole forest seemed to catch its breath and wait. You could almost hear its heartbeat, sliding along, then faster, faster, rattling through the trees. Expectancy hung in the air. Suddenly the crunch of a human footstep broke in on the hushed, waiting stillness. It was a light step, eager and youthful, perhaps a little hurried. Abruptly the young man jumped up and tipped the end of a branch that hung down in front of him. He couldn't help it. He was too happy. Momentarily, he sped up, his eyes flashing with eagerness. He was coming back home! But then he slowed down, paused for a second. It had been so long! Who knew what awaited him, beyond those taciturn trees, over that silent hill? What might not have happened during his long absence? An undefined fear welled up in him. He crunched it down, stepping out firm and determined. And as he did so, his confidence seemed to return. He thought, with glittering eyes, of the welcome they would give him. His mother! The energy he gave to his next steps reflected the almost trembling enthusiasm that seemed to be carrying him forward with roller coaster speed. The crest of the hill was in sight, a few more steps, a short bound, and then - his journey's end! For a second, he looked down at the path, gathering himself for the moment he had waited for so long. He looked up. His keen, eager eyes grasped the landscape in front of him. But it was not what he had expected to see. He staggered backwards. A cold, numbing chill overwhelmed his heart. Some idle portion of his mind found time to think he must surely be dead, his heart was frozen. But a heavy, thumping beat soon undeceived him. He felt crushed. No! No, it was impossible! He drew a long breath. He did not believe it. His eyes were tricking him. All he had to do was go down there. Nothing had changed. Everything was still the same. The grey walls of his parent's castle would still smile down at him. The porter would still greet his voice with a shout of welcome. The rusty drawbridge would still creak on its hinges. It would still exasperate him by its tardiness. His mother would still come running down the walls and welcome him... he dropped to his knees, choked with sorrow. Staggering, he pushed forward the last few steps until he reached the peak. From there he looked down at the somber ruins, one lonely tower still pointing its finger to heaven. No. It would never be the same. A non-photoshopped image: This was based off Ian Spacek's Myriad, for the Symphony of Construction contest. I tried to follow the music with the story although I'm afraid some parts have to be read rather quickly and others slowly! Thanks for checking it out, comments are welcome!

Hello Eurobricks . This is the build I made to showcase my Batpod , as well as replicate one of my favourite scenes from "The Dark Knight" ( probably my favourite movie , along with the rest of the trilogy ) . The lamp posts (which along with the batpod are the most " tricky " parts of the build to get right ) took a while to design , as I wanted them to actually light up , and I'm not a big fan of 3d-party lighting for Lego so I had to use the PF lights . The solution came from modding the lights by removing the covering so that they get "bar" (lightsaber blade) wide , so they can fit through pins ( you can find some tutorials online but it's not necessary , you can probably figure it out by yourself ) . The lamp posts are also designed to look exactly like the ones in the film . The batpod is probably one of the best things I've ever built ( at least in my opinion ) and I think it is the very , very close to the " real thing " , at least for mining scale . I wont't talk too much about it , since there is a post just for it right here , so head there for more details about it . The "road" part of the build is simple and somewhat plain, but I like how it looks , and I believe it should be plain as it is so that it doesn't distract from the main part of the build , the two rivals . Finally , the minifigure roster includes the "Tumbler" 's Joker , as well as my custom pad printed Batman ( Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises suit ) , one of the few Lego Batmen with regular ,non-cartoony-white eyes . So , enough with the boring talk , and on with the pictures : Here is a main shot with everything . you will notice the cables leading to the lamp posts . Again , yes those are modded PF lights and do actually light up , which is barely visible on these photos , as the light they produce is nothing in comparison to the flash of the camera used . A shot of the Dark Knight running full speed for Joker , considering breaking his "one rule" . Here is the lamp post again , sorry if the shadow is a bit distracting , I tried many things to avoid a shadow that can be confused with the build , but with no success . The cables go to the back of the lamp post , and are held there by a 1x1 brick with hole . The go all the way till the pavement , and there again they are held under it with another 1x1 brick with hole . Here is the Joker , equipped with a brickarms weapon ( I can't remember the exact model ) . He is , in my opinion , the best minifigure TLG has ever produced for the Superheroes Line , he looks just like he does ain the movie , and really stands out next to any minifigure . An above shot from Batman's POV , as he heads straight for the Joker . You can get a good perspective view of the whole thing here ( except from the street lights ) . The "set" , without the minifigs and batpod . Joker stands on the stud to the right , while Bats' bike just stands on its own ( it's kinda unstable but not too much ) . Also you can see the cables coming out from under the pavement . A final shot of Bats heading straight from the camera . Thank you all guys for viewing I hope you liked it . Please leave a comment , I want to hear as many opinions and suggestions as you guys can come up with . The Caped Crusader

I created this topic to share my Nexo Knight Army! Most pieces are Lego, others are custom, or third party. Note: some Nexo Power Shields are custom printed, and not scannable for the game. I really hope you enjoy! The Monster Army

Arkham Knight Batmobile Batman’s new epic ride from the upcoming game Batman: Arkham Knight This vehicle was built as a contest entry for Fig-Nation’s Arkham Knight Batmobile ‘Contest’over on Flickr. Anyone interested should get building, since the submission date is April 15th, and you could win a cool (pun-intended) Arkham City styled custom printed Mr. Freeze Minifigure. Anyways, this was a rather fun build for me since I normally don’t build vehicles—especially Batmobiles. Personally I feel the community is flooded with those, along with Batcaves and Halls of Armor, so I try to avoid building those things. Nonetheless, I’m very happy with the outcome—this thing just looks mean! Enjoy ~Nemo

Who is the mysterious Arkham Knight? Will it be a brand new villain or is he a mysterious old partner? Find out who he could possibly be in this brand new short based on the Batman Arkham Knight video game franchise. This is my first time running a video at 59 frames per second trying to achieve a more fluid movement with LEGO animation. Edit: Can a mod help deeplink this? Thanks.

Hey guys , after waiting two months to get all the parts , everything I need for my Classic Arkham Batmobile has arrived . In my mind I’m still calling this a WIP , as there still remain some changes to be made , but they are really small and subtle , so I decided to post it as it is ( and maybe post a V1.1 later ) . As I’m sure you can imagine , one of these changes is changing the colour of the two “road signs” on the roof of the car to black . Unfortunately , these parts don’t come in black , so I’ll paint them ( I don’t love the idea anymore than you do , but I think the parts fit in perfectly and they look inaccurate being grey and brown ). I am also playing with the idea of adding stickers to give the model that extra bit of accuracy , specifically on the "6005" parts in front of the rear wheels . Finally , what’s a Batmobile without Batman ? I knew , from the moment I started building this that I had to get a custom Arkham series Batman minifig to go along with it . And when I tumbled upon onlinesailin’s Arkham City Batman, I was amazed by the astonishing level of detail, the amazing resemblance to the iconic suit, everything . Thanks “onlinesailin”, for the best minifigure out there , this moc wouldn't be the same without it . Now, I’m sure you came here to see a Batmobile, not read boring details, so here are some pictures . Now let me get that explosive gel ... I really hope you liked my build , please comment your opinion and/or constructive criticism . Thanks for viewing :)

The woman, unmistakable thanks to the hair of the same hue as the ink upon her notice, sits atop an unnatural bush likely of her own conjuring, its chalky-looking fruits the color and consistency of bleached bone. The man next to her waves to the Heroes. "Howdy, there, Heroes!" The purple-garbed woman merely crosses her arms and taps the tips of her two staves together impatiently as she waits for the Heroes in the back to catch up. "You're all here? Well, whatever. I need some Ancient Bones for a project I've cooked up, and you lot are gonna--" "Whoa, there, kiddo, shoudn't you let 'em introduce themselves first?" The woman rolls her eyes. "Whatever." The man chuckles. "The name's Mac. I'm normally a driver for the Shadeaux--actually worked with a few other Heroes a while back--but today I'm out here on personal business." Mac jerks his head toward the purple-haired woman. "This charming little lady is your employer Kiri Murasaki." Kiri eyes the Heroes. "Pleasure," she says acidly. "Can they get to work now?" Mac smiles generously at the young woman. "All in good time, kiddo." Mac looks back to the Heroes. "So, 'fore we get started, mind introducing yourselves? You and I will be traveling together on this job, after all." What will the party say? QM Note: Welcome to the Quest, everyone--and for a few of you, welcome to your first Quest as well! My first entry to the Classic set Re-imagined Category of the CCCX. __________________ So, I was searching around for a good set to remake, and I came across "Knight's Challenge 6060" I knew I had found it. Though I have never got my hands on a copy, I consider this set a Classic among Classics. :) Reference photo via bricklink.com
