  1. No. LDD files can't be exported to other software. There's one exception, it can be exported to LDraw, but the exporting often removes some bricks, replaces some bricks, or recolors some bricks. It doesn't work 100%. I would recommend making your models in SR3D builder, which uses LDraw. LDraw files can be exported to other 3d file types. But, in the end, I think it's best to just make the models in a real 3d modeler to avoid problems you may encounter using exported stuff.
  2. Don't worry. It's the correct wire. One end of the wire can be used as a 9v connection (on the underside) but the top op de wire is just PF. it's a multi-functional (multi-functionomical ) wire.
  3. Thanks C3POwen! The pneumatic parts are a nice addition.
  4. And you can use Rebrickable to find the missing pieces and save that as a wanted list on bricklink. Then, you can use Brickficiency to calculate the cheapest Bricklink stores. Modern technology
  5. Well, my anti-virus (Kaspersky 2014 doesn't warn me for any trojans. I suppose it's indeed your anti-virus going crazy. Don't worry about it.
  6. Well, to be honest. It's just another tracked vehicle, but one that does seem to drive very good, though And the video is very well done too. Great job on that
  7. I suppose you built the set in SR3D Builder? Do LDview and SR3D use the same LDraw directory?
  8. It's looking great For some reason, it reminds me of the game LEGO Loco. I don't know why though, it doesn't really look like that...
  9. Isn't there a way to generate it automaticly? I'm thinking about bbqqq's experiments with Excel and file generation?
  10. Aha. I thought I just made a mistake selecting the install adres, but you hve the exact same problem as me
  11. All axles have suspension, as far as I can see.
  12. That's a great cement mixer. Anyone noticed it even got suspension?
  13. I would love to have some shares from Merlin, not even because it's a good company that's growing a lot, but also because my name is... Merlijn. (The Dutch version of Merlin)
  14. I saw Sergio released a new version 2 days ago. But, he didn't post it here yet. So, for anyone who is a fan of SR3D Builder (like me), I thought a quick reminder would be nice Here is the changelog from the website: Thanks for the update, Sergio!
  15. This is a general topic for everyone to ask for help making a certain assembly in LDD. We have a topic like this for finding parts in LDD, so a topic for this would be useful too. [Hopefully, I can fill this first post with tips and tricks I can find in the forum in the next days/weeks.] Anyway, if you need to assemble something, you can ask here for help!
  16. Well, pendular suspension doesn't always keep all wheels in contact with the ground. It's still a rigid axle, but the only main advantage of it is that it can turn the front axle in another direction compared to the back axle. The wheels itself on both axles are still on 1 line. That's a kinda vague explanation...
  17. Which program did you used to export the parts to a .3ds file? LDview? As far as I know that should just work...
  18. Yes, there is Lego made in China, but as far as I know, this only includes minifg parts and other misc parts, such as ropes, rubber parts and things like that.
  19. He means that when the beams have to hold something, holes upward are less strong. Imagine 2 long beams attached to each other with 2 pins. Now lay one beam on the edge of a table and the other over the edge. If you put pressure on the beam over the edge, it will come off the other beam if the holes are facing upwards. Not if the holes are facing sideways (or at least a lot less). Of course you have still use upward holes when you would lock the 2 horizontal beams with vertical beams. This is done a lot in the older Technic. Because the bricks are stacked on top of each other, they had to be locked using a vertical brick.
  20. Take a look at the system requirements and make sure to check if you have the correct versions of DirectX and .NET. Otherwise, install them using the links. You can also just install them anyway, since it won't matter if you already had them
  21. I beleive Lego only outsource production of minifig parts and some other misc parts in China. The reason for the color problem is, like stated above, that Lego now uses uncolored abs instead of precolored abs.
  22. As someone said a bit earlier in this topic: maybe it's a some kind of new control panel/center like in the famous 8485 ?
  23. @gerkenz: you posted in the LDraw topic, you're using LDD. I've moved your post to a seperate topic.
  24. And to accompany that, they make a real life version too... I think we're getting a bit off topic here, now
