  1. Whoops, a little mistake. I'll correct it
  2. Regarding the instructions, I made a prototype cover page. Here's a quick image. Did I forgot to mention someone? Any suggestions? Btw, if we need a tester for the instructions, I can test them, but preferably this weekend
  3. Well, for the LPub, it would be nice to note everyone who helped with making the instructions And of course PG15 himself! For a background, I would go for something this colour: RGB: 180,210,227 I like the whole collaboration here. Never knew that it was that easy to work together with LDraw
  4. That looks great. Sadly my phone (Nexus 4) doesn't have an IR blaster, as far as I know...
  5. Hi papacharly, thanks for your contribution And welcome to the topic and the forum There's nothing wrong with your post, but I would recommend uploading the file to a seperate site instead of using the EuroBricks uploader, for example Bricksafe or Brickshelf or any other non-lego related cloud. Because you get very little space here on EuroBricks.
  6. Well, I can see the use for a general gbc topic, but what do you want to put inside that index?
  7. As far as I know, that isn't possible. It wouldn't make sense to include that in a program meant for making instructions, not producing/rendering images. Because if it saves an image of the part and uses that everywhere where needed instead of making a complete parts list every time, it would save a lot of hard drive space. These loose images are also useful when changing the size or layout of the partslist. But, yea, sometimes such a feature in would be nice, doesn't matter which software.
  8. No, please don't use receivers and remotes. The beauty of this model is its technical simplicity (but at the same time it's very complex). And, extra PF parts would make it cost more.
  9. Nice work. As you said, it looks a bit less good as the previous one, but it has a lot more options. I can count 11 driving rings in total, am I right? I hope I have some time in the next weeks to try to make an LDraw file (do you have more pictures or an lxf?) and build it myself to try it
  10. Well, because the whole axle is turning, the wheels are very far from the turning point, which means you need very big wheelarchs Anyway, the solution is great and I like the simplicity of it.
  11. Actually, I don't see any reason why something would break in this model. There aren't any high torques or am I wrong?
  12. That looks very nice. Good job on those models! Btw, if you're completely done, don't forget to enter it in the entry topic
  13. I just realized that the big airplane's functions look a lot like the big Helicopter 9396 from last year. From the functions on the box it looks quite the same but with wings instead of blades.
  14. Images: 42020 42021 42022 42023 42024 42025 42026 42027
  15. Another index update, not a big one, but it's about quality not quantity Thanks for all your submissions, support and interest everyone! Statistics for last release Records added between: August 28, 2013 and October 29, 2013 Number of sets: 31 ...whereof duplicates: 5 ...whereof alternatives: 7 ...whereof incomplete: 0 ...whereof irregular: 0 New Themes added: 4 New contributors Nick2253 - 1 sets Top contributors lego2lego - 11 sets C3POwen - 10 sets jester - 5 sets juraj3579 - 2 sets Palathadric - 1 sets Nick2253 - 1 sets legolijntje - 1 sets
  16. Nice idea, I tried some scaffolding too, but didn't came up with that idea I hope you're fine with me updating the download-link and image? Of course I'll credit you too
  17. Yep, saw them on youtube too. Looks average to me. Hope the 2H sets will be better. Some of the interesting things I saw: All the new parts in the front suspension of the snow mobile! That airplane has a lot of panels, but airplanes aren't really interesting to me (personal preference). So, mostly a parts pack. The construction crew looks quite fun. It almost looks like they want to enter the EB Technic contest Oh no, more ugly pull-back things. Keep them at the racers theme please, I don't like them being labeled "Technic"
  18. Well, I used SR3D Builder and it is very easy, even with complex geometries. Because it has the "Connection Solver". Just select the 2 parts you need to connect (and if needed select the preferred rotation points) and it automaticly connects the parts. But sadly, it didn't worked for the ball joints, but I'm sure it will be fixed in a future release (it's still a beta software).
  19. I've finished the LDraw model (well, I think I didn't forgot any parts...). Some points to note: I couldn't get the arms in place This is fixed. Thanks to Philo! Rubber bands to hold the pencil and to hold the paper aren't included The rubber parts in the paper holder and the little wheels are colored "rubber" for better rendering. However, on Bricklink this should of course be normal black. This isn't an instruction! It's just a model, it doesn't include any steps. Here's a quick image: You can download the SR3D file here. It also contains seperate groups for the chassis, the board and the arms. I can't build it myself at the moment, since I have some other things to do, but I definitely look forward to (hopefully) build V5 (or V5.2)
  20. A 5L axle with stop, but I don't know and can't see anything else
  21. We don't want too many pinned topics, to keep the list clear and not too long. This thread is linked in the main index and because many people use it, it will automaticly stay somwhere at the top. I don't really understand what you mean. The moc index we had some time ago is old and isn't being updated anymore. If you want to see which sets or parts you need to build MOCs, I can recommend Rebrickable.com
  22. Well, if you could send some pictures or maybe an LDD file, I could try to make some LDraw based instructions
  23. The excavataor is the Zorex made by Jurgen Krooshoop. You can find more information about it here. EDIT: Ralf was just before me
