    You could make two long wooden sticks with a large sheet of plastic in between to cover the layout when you're not watching or working on it.... It is practical and cheap! Looks great!! Lots of space and opportunity to expand in the future...!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak

    I think we should be gratefull to Lego because they do have sets for AFOLS (Modular line). I dislike it when people say: Again a City police office??? Be a real AFOL and build your own one. One you like and leave the new police theme 2014 on the shelves for the kids they are meant for.. Just pick those sets you like.. It is simple, kids just like firetrucks, police and so one, i know as i have two little sons. Is helps no-one to tell everyone you do not like the new police sets....Modify it, create something you like..use Lego as it is meant to be.. create things! So, what i'm trying to say is, buy only the sets you like and leave the new repeating police-stations and fire-stations to the kids! But please, stop with complainting about sets being repeated.. our whole world is repeating.. every single day.....every 24 hours..... LegoSjaak

    I prefer the grey.. i think it would look a bit castle-ish if you would use the brown... It depends also a bit on what kind of building you're designing.. if it is an old building..more wood would be obvious and then brown would be better.. but again, i would choose the light grey!! Succes! Maybe this topic should be moved to the 'Town' forum...

    Finally my Horizon Express is ready with a total of 2 loco's and 6 passengercars. I added Jacobsbogeys to all carriages except for the connection with the loco. Greetz, LegoSjaak

    Timmy, it was indeed a good price, but i had my luck with that set already, as i could buy a whole set, new in box for Eur 82,50 incl post and package... so i did not have to ask to much fot that loco...

    My Maersk train with 3 loco's and 10 double containerscars has 3 x 2 PF motors in it.. pulls it easily... Greetz, LegoSjaak

    True, it needs a second set..else it is simply not complete... Yesterday i sold the locomotive of my third Horizon Express to a guy who had given one set to his son of 7 years old. His son was disappointed with the train as it did not have a back..... The guy was lucky to bump into my Locomotive, as i bought the third set to have 2 extra passengercarriages.. Now his son is glad with having a 4-piece Horizon Express, and i am glad with my 8-piece Horizon Express.. sometimes life is simple! For Eur 33,25 is sold it to him.. guess that is reasonable for a Eur 109,99 Eur set... as it is about one-third of the total set....Greetz, LegoSjaak

    My Winter Village Market will be sent from a Dutch location...guess they have some in stock... can't imagine though they will sent it to Denmark from Holland... Hope you will get yours soon and you will have a mail with: Your LEGO® Order has Shipped‏ By the way, i just checked the Lego SH site and the Dutch Region shows that it is available now.. apparently i ordered when they were busy piling up new Winter Village boxes in the magazine... !! And for Denmark it is available again as well....so.. you will get it within days and not in November...!!

    I ordered one today on the dutch Lego SAH site. It said that the shipping date would be 31 october, but i just got a mail that it will be delivered tomorrow 18 october.... strange but welcome!! And the Christmas Tree Stand will come with it as well.. so that is nice too! (And double VIP points....)

    Timmy, it does look good, but i've seen long EN trains that had different coaches, which i think is nicer than all the same, like me.. but i lack the skills of building own coaches...so all i do is put some extra coaches..

    Timmy, here are your pics! I bought second hand sets and sold the loco... keeping the passengercar... that is a nice and cheap way!
