  1. I do not have any other specific pictures of the double 7997 but it can also be found on this picture...
  2. Wodanis, this is how it looks in real bricks...
  3. ....Your wonderful trains earn a way better video/picture-quality..to be honest.....
  4. At first sight i thought...this can't be Lego.. but it is... Really cool and wonderfull detailing. Waiting for the day i can spent a complete day on Lego..... and maybe create my own loco..... Greetz! LegoSjaak
  5. I'm still not sure what to do.. buy it or not.. i'm not very enthusiastic by this set, but as i have all other sets, i need to complete my collection.. Like me there will be a lot of people, that have that special 'collectors' feeling.. and they will buy it as well.. Together with the winter village sets, i have to collect the modulars as well... I might buy it on 16 september, but in that case, i want the mini-VW-camper for free and no post and package-cost.... I want to sell the VW camper, to keep the cost of the winter village market lower.... well..let's wait till monday and decide...
  6. Really nice and colourfull creations!!! Greetz, Legosjaak
  7. Arjan, really great work!! Getting jealous on your creativity, everytime you come up with something new....!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  8. Here some pictures of both sets! -snip- Greetz, LegoSjaak
  9. You should open the boxes.. i think there are way better ways to earn some extra money.. Enjoy life and open them and use the bricks... do it, now that you are still able to put one brick on top of another.. When you're grey an old, and watching your two FB boxes...you wish you had built them in better years... !! In other words...it will take years and years before you might earns a few euro's.....Enjoy Lego!
  10. If it is a split building, i will consider to buy two of them.. I did the same with the Pet Shop, and for example, the two blue-halfs look great!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  11. Here is another picture for comparison....
  12. Here is my MK II together with the 8110 Unimog... the Unimog is pretty large.... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  13. That is a nice wonderful station, it immediately gave me the feeling of being there and standing next to it, and smelling the specific train-station-smells.....!! The wooden shed that is built against it on the right side is also recognizable!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  14. ,,Bwoaah...that is soooo cool... Your fingers must feel like concrete, after building this.. How many bricks did you use... ? Great job!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  15. Great work....i'm always surprised by the things people create and make, and by those great details!!! Lego in this way should be mentioned 'Art' in my opinion.....!!
  16. I fit all building in my layout in this way: ..now i have to think of where to put the 10243 Paris Restaurant..... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  17. That is early information, you are given us, Klaus Dieter!! There might be some interesting sets, but sure not all of them!! No news about trains??? Greetz, LegoSjaak
  18. I just emptied the bags in the box... in this way i wouldn't loose them and it is easy to store everything when you stop building for a while..
  19. Building the 42009 Crane !!!

  20. Currently building the lift-arm... so i'm almost done.. the two pieces of string, used in the liftarm seem to be used a little bit complex.. but i did not have time to take a closer look yesterday... but i expect some difficulties tonight... ... It was my first Technic model in about 25 years... The last model was the agricultural tractor, 8859 set... I was surprised by the variety of parts and by the many new parts... Must say that the 42009 is pretty complex.... some things i have to go through, to get to know how they work... was surprised that every function can be controlled by one motor only... So i'm almost finished... it was a great build and the thing is really heavy... it is full of parts, heavy parts.. When i got the box, i was surprised by the weight of it... must be about 2.5 kg when i have to guess it.... Till now, it is the only Technic model i have.. i would like to stay with City stuff... but is it hard... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  21. I really like it actually...it is not overdone or so...it is just perfect and has the same style and simplyness as the train itself....!
  22. This has been done twice before, but it is still looking better when you double this set.....
  23. Is this city full enough?? That tan tower is a great addition!!!!
  24. Congrats Jopie!! Nice to see a dutch guy is added to the team!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  25. Timmy, i'm not really sure about the position, but there is no room to do it in a different way... In the way they are positioned now, there is an open area for track... and i need track badly... else there would be more trains than track...haha.. But im really happy with the layout so far!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak I will expand the next years...maybe do some building refreshing, to keep it a bit updated to the latest city-sets.. The new modular buildings will be added every year!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak It is indeed expensive, but i sold most of my former hobby-items, Dutch coins, ad i used that money to create this layout... Most of the Lego keeps its value, and hey, a hobby should cost money... And i do not have very much other things that cost a lot of money like an expensive car or things like that.... GReetz, LegoSjaak
