  1. I redesigned a part of my layout the last weeks.. i also added the Modular buildings...so far i did not put them in my city, but i was convinced that i had to... so.. here an impression.... (why can't i <Enter> this written line, and start with a new one....??)
  2. Here is a video..
  3. Maybe i can help with these pictures...
  4. Well, cheers, that is nice.. i like food, i like Lego, so this must be the best combination..;-) Ik hope our picture-source Grogall comes up with pictures soon.. I'll keep a gap in my modular and city-layout-redesign the coming months....!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  5. Now, thát is really a big improvement.. that is a pretty long distance... do you combine it with a Marathon, that would be cool... people running along the Lego-track for over 42 KM... Hope to see some pictures soon.. 42 KM is really awesome, and way better than the record so far!! Succes!!!
  6. Congrats to all Aussies with this nice set!!
  7. Here a picture of the Dutch Site... It indeed says expected september first.. This site was also one of the first who came up with the Maersk-train... It also says that it is a rerelease and that is has been released before in 2009 as set 7641... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  8. It is still possible to get all Modulars, guys... just search and find them!! I finished the Green Grocer yesterday after buying one second hand and washing all bricks and drying them.... It was a great build and i'm happy to have them all in the Original state, including boxes and books....Greetz, LegoSjaak
  9. Maybe a toyshop would be a splendid idea.. or a Lego-store.. Personally i think it will going to be a Bookstore.. with lots of books, and nice shelves....A year ago, i did not have any of the modulars... Late November 2012 i put my hands on a cheap Fire Brigade and after that, i wanted them all.. ....In december, there were some really nice offers, so i managed to buy the other ones rather cheap. First i did not like the Palace Cinema... but later i was convinced that i simply had to buy it.....I'm a collecter, so you can;t afford to miss out on one... Last week, i searched for the oldest three modulars... and this evening i will go and buy Cafe Corner, Green Grocer and Market Place from someone, second hand.. It is soooo addicting.... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  10. Today i was Lucky that i was able to make a deal for our three oldest modulars.... but when is see this.. uhm.... okay.. there is a long way to go for me....haha.. Really great... i also like the way you present your pictures... !! Simply Wonderfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Henrik, now all 12V blue era-Afols hope you will not put all this track on Ebay or so.. prices and worth of blue track will drop to the value of recycled plastic, ill guess... such a giant amount!!Its an epic record!!
  12. ...so...they do actually not have a worldrecord?? Congrats Henrik.. great job!!
  13. Next time you should make a layout outside and connect for example two villages in Denmark by 5 km of blue track.... Something like this has been done by James May Toy Stories.. he made a 16 km (10 miles) long track for trains and also a long track for small RC cars..scalextric. Greetz LegoSjaak
  14. Thanx LT, the interior is not exciting enough to take pictures of...it did not change very much from the Original... so, i will leave those behind. Yesterday i ordered 10 modular lampposts and added them to my modular street... They look fine to...just simple additions, but really nice! The Pets sign should be centered.....but...euhm....maybe i'll do that later, when i have parts for it, or when i see someone else doing it, and showing how he dit it here on EB... Anyway,,it was fun to build both buildings in reverse... i only started once with a floor, forgetting i was buildingin reverse... haha... Have fun with Lego!! It indeed does... it looks better now that it is wider...!!!
  15. I tried to make Pet Shop on the sign, but it was to hard and i had a lack of parts for that.. I know it can be done, but i'm also lacking time due to my two young sons, for getting it done...so i was a bit lazy and thought it would do for me how i did it.... Thanks anyway, also the other for the hints... Having all windows 4 studs wide is also a matter of pars-lack...I have over 75.000 parts, but all parts are used for Original sets and slight MOD's....Greetz, LegoSjaak Timmy, that wil take some time.. at this moment, half of my layout is on wooden plates, put ont top of eachother.. I had to make space for an company that will come these weeks, to install airconditioning on all 3 bedrooms. They need my Lego-attick to install the whole stuff.... I'm even considering a new layout, after the guys from the A/C have left... but that will take months.....I will probably even start with that after summertime... greetz, LegoSjaak
  16. Yes, i thought about that, but to be honest i'm more a kind of guy that only looks to the outside of a building... The brown houses look even better when the front doors are 'attached' to eachtother...You can see it on this picture:
  17. I laid my hands on a cheap second 10218 Pet Shop set. I decided to build the red/brown part in reverse, and fuse the blue parts.. I think it doesn't look too bad...
  18. Where does it end... can it possibly get even more beautifull than this?? I almost feel sad when i see a building like this.. sad because i'm not as creative as Wooootles....must be great to be able to create buildings like these...!! Sooo great!!
  19. I don't think it will be a steamer.. because of the EN, the wish of steam-fans is already satisfied a bit.. I think they will choose for a detailed European Dieseltrain.. When you look at the colors of the Creator trains so far, (DarkGreen, Blue & Orange) i wouldn't be surprised if it would have a red or brown colour. There are lots of German and Swiss reddish/brown Diesels... so, if you ask me, it will be a red or brown diesel.......maybe with two outstanding cars also in the set... hoppers or so... What about this Swiss one... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  20. Hi Ed, i used one single pillar in the middle.......it has an urban look like this... For the rest you could use the concept of Lego Train 12 Volts....
  21. Great idea...i deeplinked the picture on this topic for you...it is really worth opening the link:
  22. ...Ooooohhh....give it to me, give it to me!!!! Would buy this set if it was avaliable!!!! Great build!!
  23. That is a nice truck.. first thought was a circus-truck or so.. How can people visit the inside tour.. is it possible to 'buy' your way in, or what should someone do to get inside the factory? Gives me a little bit a 'Willy Wonka'-feeling.. (Charly and the Chocolate-factory) Maybe TLG should put golden tickets in their Legoboxes...that what be an awesome idea.... !!!!!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  24. Your layout makes me consider to add the 10228 Haunted House to my collection as well.. it is rather okay, standing next to modulars.... to be honest.. And it is okay that it looks abandoned... Got lots of positive remarks on my Modular collection, last weekend when we had a party at our home.. I missed out on Green Grocer and Cafe Corner... sadly!!
  25. My last build was the Palace Cinema, what to buy next...
