I like the clothes, how many minifigs did you sacrifice for that...? I'm thinking of a small toy department, and i'm busy with expanding the variety of small toys available in the shop.. i won;t need too many bricks for that.. And also thinking of tiling...but that is rather expensive..... Looks great so far!!

I also want to add that modulars are rather important... I mean that they are important in a way that the modular line were the first Lego items i showed my family, friends and collegues... I had tons of city-stuff but never dared to show it to the public not being anonymous... But the modular line was so mature that all people who had never seen these buildings, no longer considered Lego as only a toy for kids.... People always asked me when they saw my modulars: Is thát Lego??? So maybe the role of modulars is underestimated.......

Before being able to acquire the modulars, i put a lot of effort in my work to earn money to spend it on modulars...... and getting all modulars together these days is quite an accomplishment itself! Besides that i have made 5 XL versions of modulars..... anyway, i can imagine there is no tag for having all modulars together.. On the other hand...why not.. it is fun to see more EB-ers with different tags... In this way it is possible to see what member we speak with when we see a variety of tags under his avatar...... Fresh video of all 9 modulars together, including 4 XL versions. (one building made of two original sets) The table is 1.80 x 0.90 meters.

To be honest...when you look at the large and first image of this set on the Lego-site (first link above) the whole set looks rather crappy... . someone who doesn't know what it is would not instantly be able to see what it is... But i like it that Lego makes sets that are not automatically favoured bij everyone!

You are probably very right....but it is so much fun to dream about what the next modular could be, and being right about it afterwards....haha..! And people Always like to search for clues...even if they aren't there......!! -
It looks also great with an extra floor... wasn't it possible to give it an extra floor and widen it a bit as well wit an extra set?? Or did you just bricklink the parts for the extra floor and do you only own one Original PR set? I like the colorsheme the most of this set... the darkblue and green/white.......

Maybe the 2015 Modular has something to do with the bus-stop bench of the Parisian Restaurant... maybe it has something to do with travelling.. the new modular could come up with a bus as well.......?? Travel agency? -
Adding the cornertile endangers the partcount of a set........1 instead of 2.....

I did a lot of work on my XL Palace Cinema, the last two days..still waiting for some extra parts to finish the roof...

I also Modded my two Palace Cinema's into one larger building... Some work on the roof and interior has to be done..but it looks great.. i personally like the sign on the side of the building and on the pavement....

I understand the truck has to be 8 wide...but that simply doesn't match the rest of my vehicles, being mostly 6 wide trucks... I know it is not a city-line product, but a fairground-truck being bigger than one of my trains is something i don't like...so i will save my money for the next modular set... It does look nice, but i'm jus not into sets like these....

This is something different with a lot of playability. I can imagine people liking it, but it is not a set for me. I'm glad this is not in stead of a new modular building!!

There should be threads about every single modular....and then specific about Modding... ! I did some work on the upper floor with the parts that were left after widening my GE on both sides with 16 studs....
