  1. I really enjoy watching supercars grow. Than You @Erik Leppen for sharing the progress. :) Not for the engine. However, XJ200... :D
  2. Great idea, awesome execution. Maybe more work on the figures (not leaving them stock - especially the girl - would be nice, but not necessary.) (The photo with Vader sitting on his bike also made me think about it more, and inspired me to make a drawing loosely inspired by it. I think that it should be here too.)
  3. Please do not forget that this topic is about McLaren, not about Gallardo.
  4. it is really nice chassis! Looks like fun to drive it around :) Have you tried smaller wheels for better acceleration and tires that are less adhesive? I tried to build one, but with original parts it is nearly impossible. No one-way-diff, no precise steering and torque control, extreme friction and lack of power. The car keeps doing donuts and result is not much better than performance of this chassis. I really look forward to see somebody build real one. :)
  5. I'll really enjoy to watch this car grow. Personally, I would not be afraid of using also system elements (curved slopes, especially) to achieve fluent lines. :)
  6. Design of a MOC is not only about having specific elements in your collection. It is also about the art of choosing the optimal shape to be built with bricks and skills you have. To be honest, McLaren is very hard car to be captured well. Scale-modelling is not easy discipline to master with pre-shaped bricks, personally I would primarily try to build good-looking imaginary vehicle. And if you show only body on video, there are no ways to know what's inside. :) Or at least photo of the underside of your MOC. Put more effort and time to building and to presenting, and together with your enthusiasm they'll bring much better results . :)
  7. Oh, that's huge... More than good for first MOC. Do you plan to make a video?
  8. Hi, I would like to show you my hot-rods, hope you like them. :) (I can't deny that they're strongly inspired by work of the great Calin (_Tiler) (https://www.flickr.com/photos/_tiler) (be sure to check his gallery even in case you have visited it yet)) Streamlined by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Streamlined NUTLESS NUTLESS Nutless and OILThirsty Oil Thirsty
  9. I experimented many times with this offset setup, but never finished it. You did it, and that's the reason for forgiving this insane colour scheme. Personally, I would consider using micro fake engine, that could be proper V10 or V12,. Do you plan to make a video?
  10. Macro? Not the best, but I like the organic-tech-like texture. :D All of my tracks... by Horcik Designs, on Flickr
  11. Mr. Blue strikes again! Maybe , when edges were changed into more curves, it might be better, but it is undoubtedly beetle- Good job!
  12. Thank you! :) I tried to add them to the car, but they're too wide, in my opinion. I also tried model-team rims with radar dish inside them, but these on photos are the best.
  13. Thank you all! I am glad you like it . Smaller pistons (axles) were moving only inside of the block, and that looked too boring to me. I would be honored. (and when it's finished, maybe also inspired to make another :D) Instructions? Maybe in summer. I do not promise, I'm also not saying No. Eh, by "one day" I meant 24 hours of building, not "from sunrise 'till sunset. :D (school also needs it's time, but relaxing is necessary :D)
  14. Hi AFOLs, I would like to show you my latest "one-day build", the Hot-rod. It features working steering and fake engine. Hope you like it. :) INSTRUCTIONS: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-60351/Horcikdesigns/hot-rod/#details MadBlack MadBlack MadBlack
  15. As long as the body of the car won't be also red, the interior is great, IMHO. Keep up good work! Personally, I would add bigger steering wheel, current one is too small
  16. It is great vehicle judging by it's performance, and really nice rollcage you made However the engines are too oversized for it, IMO. One would be enough, more care behind the scoop would also be great.
  17. There are many builders, but only a few can really BUILD. You, Didumos69, are one of them.
  18. In my opinion, wheel arches should be more curvy than they're right now. Maybe flex-axle would fix it ;)
  19. Personally, I would improve the wheel arches, but the rest is awesome. I'm really looking forward to see it finished.
  20. i really like the colour combination. Functions seems to be great too, but seeing them in motion, it would be the best. :)
  21. Five, two of them are waiting in box, another two are usually in assembly with RC unit and the last one is mostly used in MOCs.
