  1. Is something like 42069 (but more wacky) also possible? iI has treads/tracks, so I hope that yes.
  2. Looks very interesting and promising so far. I think that I surmise, what the L motor is it supposed to do.
  3. My browser does not want to run it flawlessly.
  4. From certain muzzle velocity not :D It is just my point of view, but bananas and similar unusual ammo are IMO ok. :D It is just point of view. :)
  5. In my opinion, guns (expect cartoony cannons and fireworks) are not really "wacky".
  6. The video is even better than the car, and the car is awesome. :D Good job!
  7. @braker23Thank you very much! :) I think that here and there could be some things done for the eye better, but it fills it's purpose enough well, thus it is good :) @AFOLegofan66 Then I really look forward to see it finished. (Please make it in lime colour :D ) It might be super strong and fast. :)
  8. Well, here is the requested insight under the skirt. Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr I have also prepared LDD file of this car. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzavaaFJ4j7cVUhsdkpITXBRNnc
  9. Thank you very much! I am really glad you like it. :) @JDL1967 Black chassis is the best of them all, in my opinion. :) And gray body too. :D @Offroadcreat1ons I can not deny some similarity, but it was not purpose here. @Aventador2004 It is allowed to use anything, that you can fit in the car. Plates, extra batteries, etc... @MangaNOID The red-black wire is 3rd party battery (really small and light) that is used for the lights (they are also custom made). I did not want to use the main power source for the lights. @Leonardo da Bricki Next time I'll use them only for lighter cars. :)
  10. Hi, ___ EDIT __________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________ HERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CURRENT VERSION: (description later in this topic) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-28281/Horcikdesigns/offroader-for-overland-adventure/#bi ___________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________ This is my latest attempt at building offroad car. JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Introduction and Motivation I built it for the Kostky.org TROPHY, adventurous event and AFOL meeting that is inspired by Camel Trophy series, and was held by Kostky.org (CZ+SK LUG) at 5th August 2017 for the very first time. It was awesome day, and I hope that there will be more. Here is the the official video from the event. There were really great cars there. The car itself The car was built to fit the rules of the competition. That means reserve "fuel" in the car during whole race before refuelling, remote control (no wire connection between truck and controller, S-bricks allowed) and representative appearance. So I decieded to go with the force, and installed two XL motors for the drive, geared down in 3:5 ratio, and two L motors, each for the winch (1:8) and steering (mini LA). I also reduced gearing to the minimum, due to minimal energy-consumption. (I nearly did the whole race to single Li-Po BB) The car is not perfect, it is very heavy (approx. 1500g), so it does not allow to use CV joints in the front axle for smooth wheel rotation. They managed to withstand the race, but in the finish (before the big uphill from the first video) they were strongly damaged, mostly because of big steering angle. Well, I hope that the video will say enough, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. :) Photos: JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr JEEP Wrangler Expedition by Horcik Designs, on Flickr
  11. I can see the result only after opening them in new window.
  12. Thank you very much :) @TechnicRCRacer Maybe after fixing current bugs (and buying blue panels :D ) @Meatman That hoses are also another reason why I do not like the current state of the car very much. Thanks :) @I_Igor As I said, it is only inspired by some of the Mustang's most iconic shapes. I have not used any reference picture, nor a blueprint when I've been building. MadMax style is not my cup of coffee, but I see your point. @Horace T Here is your answer:
  13. Tail lights were brightened up, because they were too dark in the photo. Hood-support bar is yellow, but accidentally desaturated (the same thing happened to the 3mm rigid hose). And the right answer are the panels. I have them only in green, and I did not want to buy them just because one (slightly bad IMO) MOC. Thank you all very much, I am really glad you like it. I think that I will give the 'stang project more care in the future.
  14. No, no, no, the steering wheel is real. (it is realatively new part, that I missed, but crucial for this MOC) The rigid hose and 19L flex axle are both very close to the edited part (it really sounds and looks much better than 'PSed'), so it might get some 'treatment' too. @Xewyz2001 - I did not say, that it should be model of existing 'Stang. Some parts of the MOC are just inspired, or strongly associating this car.
  15. You're partially right, @Offroadcreat1ons. Unfortunatelly not, because the rims are painted physically. The photoshopped part does exist in colour that is present in the pictures, but I have not it in my collection, because it has only appeared in one set so far.
  16. Hi, This is not a model of Ford Mustang, or any real derivate of this iconic car, although I can't deny, that I was 'slightly' inspired by it. I started with chassis that had to be similar to my Rallycar; I added simple gearbox, steering, independent suspension, forgot to add the HOG system, and then started the body. I am not satisfied with this build, because the only working thing are door handles and locks. They work fine. Other mechanisms don't. The main problem is the drivetrain - the gears in gearbox are not in right order, and shifter is really tricky to manipulate right. Missing HOG and extremely weak rear suspension also do not add playability to the model. However, the body does not look so bad, in my opinion, but the whole rear section could have been two studs higher. So, enjoy, if you want, and do not try to persuade me that it is good model Not a 'Stang by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Not a 'Stang by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Not a 'Stang by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Not a 'Stang by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Not a 'Stang by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Question: Who knows where I used Photoshop instead of Bricklink?
  17. CV joints in wheels in trial truck will not survive. I am sorry to say that. If your truck has more than 1kg of weight (and according to Class tires it will), you'd better use portal axles - prefabricated, or brick-built, because they minimize the stress in the U- , or CV- joint (in case of Nicjasno's solution.
  18. @Leonardo da Bricki You're welcome, and thank you for your feedback. Sorry for the build experience, nonetheless making real step-by step instructions would unfortunately consume too much time.
  19. I have finished LDD file of the chassis, and it is waiting right now (13.7. 2017, 11am CEST) for an approval on Rebrickable. ( http://rebrickable.com/users/Horcikdesigns/mocs/ ) Here I would like to show you internal structure of it. Rallycar - working parts by Horcik Designs, on Flickr
  20. You're right, but I have any set of them in my collection yet. :D But gulf Livery seems too good to resist to start collecting. :D
  21. Thank you very much :) I am glad that you mentioned the blue one - it was just a sketch model built to test the possibilities for this and future projects. Lack of blue panes forced me to make the white-orange combo :)
  22. I really look forward to see this car finished - and not just because of the color. :D
  23. Oh, thank you very much. I did not expected so much positive feedback. :) No exact and existing car was used as reference, but similarity with some I can not deny. Maybe the wheels could have been slightly smaller for car of this width and length. :) Yes, I plan to make it, but I can not promise when it will be finished and ready. It was only matter of time, when this trend arrives to MOCs :D You're right Meatman, I was strongly inspired by this setup made by Crowkillers. Personally, I played with this idea too, but re-shaping the body in LDD would be very difficult (not only legal techniques are used - some parts are slightly steressed). i do not want to make promises, but I think that I will make it - probably only 3D file, but I think it is enough :)
  24. Hi builders and collectors, This MOC started as plain chassis with two-speed GB, basic steering geometry, stabilizers and 4-wheel independent suspension (rear drive) with 3 cylinder fake engine in front. So, technically it is not a supercar you would imagine. Then I built the body around it. It started as blue, but due to lack of parts in this colour I had to "repaint" it, and start building it in white with orange highlights to make it look interesting. Two months after finishing (called so for lack of better names) bodywork, I realized, that four speed gearbox from non-presented project would fit there. And it have (after some minor upgrades and chassis-rebuilds, of course :D) Photos: Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hot-Hatch Rallycar by Horcik Designs, on Flickr (more photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112259733@N07/albums/72157682676686045) The instructions for the chassis can be found on Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8882/Horcikdesigns/rallycar-chassis/#comments I see this car as ancestor of my previous Yubihama II.
  25. Hi, I would like to let you know, that this MOC is now on Rebrickable, so the LDD file is ready to be downloaded there. Enjoy. :) And here is the link; sorry for delay... http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8738/Horcikdesigns/madblack-hot-rod/#comments
