  1. The story continues, but is still in development: 4WD drift WIP by Horcik Designs, on Flickr This one has 4WD, and I tried to get as close to RC cars as possible without using RC parts (except the wheels). However, the performance is not still good enough, although very improved in comparison with first version.
  2. Definitely Drift car - I am building it too, so I really would like to see what you are going to build.
  3. Great obstacles you had there. Great video. (but I know that live action is incomparable with it :D )
  4. Thank you very much! I am glad you like it. The Paternoster might be dangerous and for the first time slightly tricky to get into and out of it, but the coolest thing is to ride with it to the turning points :D
  5. That's great! (and possibly The cutest bulldozer I have ever seen).
  6. Hi, sorry for interupting, but I've finished the promised DRIFT movie.
  7. :D Thank you! This MOC is far from finished; I think... I know (!) there's so many things to improve before I'll be satisfied with the result.
  8. For a long time the some excavator-thing was on my to-build list. TC10 is great opportunity to do so, and finally use cylinders from Arocs. I know very well, that my entry is not the most original. :D I discovered that I really like making pneumatics tubes look clean and life-like. :) Here is what I've got after one day of building.
  9. I really like both of them. Is the RT2's chassis reliable? Are you planning to make more of them? (I grew up on racers sets, so I really like this idea).
  10. I really like the idea, but Krisandkris12 is right - make it more powerful. I think that system brick-built (with combination with technic bricks) worktable plate would sustain much more pressure than panels. Looking forward for new progress!
  11. Thank you very much! I know that the windscreen and roof are not perfect, but I like them the way they are (at least, for this model). @Victor Imaginator - Hey, that's right. I was focused to the lights too much, that I completly missed this. :D
  12. And, are you planning to show us the chassis? :)
  13. Thank you :) I am glad that (it at least seems) that you like it. I have to find smooth surface before it gets too late... Or with "R" between two other letters. I am not sure,.. I've never been: http://horcikdesigns...-am-I-420733365 :D (you've seen the rear lights?) To be honest, I realized the similarity of front lights only when the car was finished .(so inspiration is not the right term :D)
  14. Really nice (and fast) truck you've built.
  15. Thank you very much for kind words! to make things clear, even if the car has rims that allow the car to have steering axis inside of the wheel, as visible in LDD file (bottom of first post) the axis is actually still outside (I had the car "finished" when I decieded to print my own rims) However, I promise that next car with this set of rims will have steering axis inside the wheel as much as possible :D
  16. S-Brick powered Streetcar VIDEO (part one - without drifts) Full album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskxmKbsh It is driven by 5292 (buggy) motor in the back, directly connected to wheels from faster output (on 16L axle, in case you'r curious), steering is done by servo, controlled by S-Brick and it's fuel tank is original Li-Po BB. S-Brick powered Streetcar S-Brick powered Streetcar Front axle has positive caster angle for better steering performance, and it's only gearing is positioned there. (the steering 7L rack and 12t pinion.) When you see it (in case you're fast enough), you can see custom stickers, working front lights, and custom 3D printed rims (my own design). S-Brick powered Streetcar rim On the rims are original, but cut, LEGO 48×24 ZR tires. ________________________________________________________________________________ Here is version for purists, with original rims and non-modified tires (but not last configuration of stickers and rear bumper) Teaser On smoother or slippier surface (wooden floor, for example), it is capable of slightly real-looking drifts. (wait for part two of the video, please :) ) __________________________________________________________________ Here, I add the LDD file with backup model of it. Not 100% accurate, but IMO sufficient. https://www.dropbox....BACKUP.lxf?dl=0 Hope you like it :)
  17. Very nice car. I would make front lights smaller (Just two plates thick), and slightly changed the shilouette, but it is just my personal preference. You did great job.
  18. I like them too, to be honest. :D And the colour is my favourite, so there was no chance, that any car of my dream, could ever have any other :D
  19. Thank you all very much! :) @Jorgeopesi: I can not say that I like them, but here they make the car optically wider :D
  20. This is my Porsche for Rebrick contest. I built it without any pictures, nor blueprints, so it looks as it looks. Sometimes disproportional, and bricky or odd from some angles. I also wanted avoid using panels - It's strange way to be original, isn't it? Motor-out by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Before naming all functions I have to say, that this is my first big "gearboxed" manual full scale supercar. It features 4-forward speed gearbox with slightly realistic shifter, working clutch pedal (and no more), pneumatically adjustable rear spoiler from the cabin, full independent suspension on all four wheels, "advanced" geometry on front half-axles, unfinished brakes (I built the whole car organically, so there was no space for them, when I decieded to add them there) exposed engine (for hot-rod look, this was my original idea), working steering wheel coupled with HOG, just one seat - "because this is racing car", openable hood with no additional space under it, trunk that shows the fake engine and side doors - "because I'm sure it was originally a non-racing car", hoodlocks (yes, that silly wires with round tile), and mechanism for simplier opening of the hood. Nearly Panelless by Horcik Designs, on Flickr And one technical shot: Nearly Panelless by Horcik Designs, on Flickr
  21. Nice build, but I really do not like the sticker with "Rudy" lettering. I am sure you could have sticked it to the surface much, much better. Great work, anyway.
  22. I really like the curved sides of it and the number "4" is great touch. Are you planning to show what's inside?
  23. Awesome shape (I appreciate the studless "belly" section), but I would change the engine - that big wheel looks too bulky.
  24. I build primarily technic, but I have no suitable red wheels for these tracks, so I had to use them - and I do not regret - what's more, they look "greebly" :D
