Location: C09 - Orinshi Tags: Building, Land vehicle Log #007 – 26 Novembrinali 3816 It was a very calm night. And when It's calm outside, I like to drive a few rounds around Orenshi's HQ defense walls with my High Speed Kart™. The guards are okay with this and the long stretched road, mostly used for transport by day light, is a very fine looking road. I wish I could say that as well to the walls themselves; looks like Kawashita is cutting down on gardeners around here. Not much later on, one of the guards signed me to stop. While I did that, he walked to me and informed me that we had an intruder. The intruder by now is dead and charcoaled when trying to hop over the wall. The poor soul had probably no idea that the empty space between the vertical generator and the beams, is twice as hot and causes instant death. We have no idea ATM who or to what this individual is affiliated with. But I suppose someone like Dr. Jakob could trace this person's DNA and suit origins in his lab. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just like the Halloween CMF, I don't mind getting all of them. I want to get multiple Calculator Man's for my space needs. I also like that TLG and the designers from the LEGO Batman Movie are coming IMO with more original and fun designs then they're based off from exisiting Batman media. The Killer Croc set; just too crazy and awesome for example, It hits all the right spots in me. -
LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't like the boat. Other than that, I think this is a very nice Ninjago wave and I'd like to buy some sets from It. -
Great to see unusual LEGO pieces used. Your interpretation of that Shield Liger in bricks is pretty neat.

Very nice space ship and cool hangar. Those red circle tiles with the flower print on them works well for Kawashita builds. The story is amusing, especially that the '9' is revealed later on.

Location: C09 - Orinshi Tags: Science, Building r Log #006 – 31 Oktobrinali 3816 Because of my lack of activity within Kawashita, I'm doing simple chores for other people on our home planet Orinshi. At least I can keep wearing my pilot costume which I take pride in. The other day, on halloween, I had to get a ladder for the hallway janitor, from a doctor who experiments with alien lifeforms. I thought It was illegal to do that to other sentient beings. I don't want to think If alien lifeforms will experiment on us. And I don't like seeing open flesh wounds and organs... So, with much hestitation, I went in and see the doctor for borrowing his ladder. The man greeted me with a warm sounding welcome with a thick German accent. His name is Jakob and when I asked him If I can borrow his ladder for the janitor in this hallway, he started to laugh out loud. "Jakob's ladder!" he reexclaimed twice. I had no idea what's so funny, but maybe It's a German thing. But I may borrow 'his' ladder ofcourse. When facing the ladder, I saw all the things I ignored or blocked out of my field besides Jakob: A huge monitor screen with nothing but bloody organs, wings getting dissected, alien bugs in jars, a huge eyeball staring at me. I grabbed the ladder anyhow without thanking and greeting Jakob and fell unconsious with the ladder on the hallway. More information and pictures under the spoiler tag: EDIT: English can be hard.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Still not sold on the monster vehicles and It's parts for this year/wave. The concept is nice though. It's cool that the wheels on Jestro's Evil Mobile are a new rocky like kind, instead of just grey versions of the Power Miners wheels. Could be useful for rocky outposts for Castle. Nexo Knights vehicles on the other hand are more interesting to me, but Lance's Jet looks kind of unfinished for my taste despite having cool parts. I have to see It for real and in reviews to decide on getting his jet or getting some loose parts. I hoped Axl would also get an armor upgrade like the other knights. The visors (especially those of Lance and Clay) will work just well for my Space/Ice Planet needs, just like all the other trans. neon orange parts from NK before. The Action sets are okay with some nice uncommen parts, maybe I'll get at least one of them. PS: why doesn't Queen Halbert come at least with a halbert instead of a variation of Macy's mace? -

Maybe the colour is new or Aqua (referencing bricklink.com). -
The Creative Colour Boxes sound almost like supplemental specified bricks. If these sets have parts I can use, I would've like to buy multiples of them.

Just got my Tower Carrier and the Lava Lair. Aawww yeah!! The first year of NK sets is just crazy.

What's with Lego and 4 arms?
Orange Leader replied to Takanuinuva's topic in General LEGO Discussion
...or TLG has one or more designers that are nostalgic for Goro from Mortal Kombat. -
Hey Henjin, thanks for your comment. I understand your point of view regarding the exposed studs of the walls. IMO I find using tiles for such clean walls hard to pull off; between the tiles there are always some visible grooves that make It look uneven and It's part intensive. So I go for the stud look; It looks more that way that It connects to a ceiling anyway besides the evenly structured appeal.

Nice! Sand Green and Light Gray always work very well for a rock and ruin pallette.

[MOC] The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - Rebel Fleet

Wow, splendid!!! -
To LEGO photographers who use a light box tent/EZCube and additional day light bulbs, I have a question regarding size. What size and lamps are you using and do you have recommendations what to do and don't? I'm thinking of getting a light box tent in size 30 inch/ 76 cm. It's for small MOCs (Minifig scale Landspeeder) to big MOCs (UCS Slave 1 size). Or should I go for bigger? I want to use 2 to 3 lamps with day light bulbs.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is one of the things I really dislike about the current TLG. I understand there are a lot of sets released these days prior to 20 years ago, where sets life for about three years before they run out of production. But a year and especially 6 months is way too soon. Last wave of Ultra Agents was probably only in the summer from what I've seen in stores. As If I blinked my eye and It was gone. Really, while It's cool for kids these days to have many LEGO themes to choose from, I can imagine It must be even more so frustrating for them to complete a theme or get key sets on pocket money and allowance alone in such a short production run. -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Orange Leader replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Krennic's Shuttle looks very good, but I'm not sure I would buy It. The stickers It comes with is something I'd like to have a couple of sheets from! The V-wing is growing on to me, a very nice looking ship with parts I could use. -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'm not too enthusiastic about these 2017 sets right now, but my opinions might change when clearer images start showing up. Air/Electric elementals are a cool choice and the colour scheme is nice. I suppose It's purple and dark azure (I really hope It's DA). Interesting that NK 2017 is going for the Ninjago 'personal vehicle colour' approach. It's okay, the NK 2016 sets have plenty of blue parts which is a choice I really appreciate. -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Despite your cynical everlasting juvenile tone, I would'nt mind having Nexo Knight as a Space theme. Better yet, the 2016 waves already have a lot of parts that spacers can use. I'm more than happy with the shades of blue and extensive use of trans. neon orange for my space needs that Nexo Knights offers right now. On the contrary; the volcano faction offers more parts for my Castle needs. Why don't I read more about that, I can't be the only one looking for parts in themes for MOCs? -
I have never hoped for stickers on a part as much as this!
Orange Leader replied to whitswj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Is the windscreen really trans. yellow? Am I missing a designer note there that confirms that? I thought It was trans. orange. The last batmobile with a coloured windscreen was trans. orange as well.
