  1. Hallo Ilap I'll be following this topic with a lot of interest. I love Germany and that area especially (I've been to Wolfsburg 3 times) and I can't wait to get back over from England when the Coronavirus restrictions have hopefully lifted and made travel a little easier. I only have a simple stepper built at the moment, but I have built quite a few modules (including a few of Akiyuki's) in the past and there is all winter to build. I'll do my homework on things and check with work for my holidays, but as a starter I'm definitely interested. Greetings from Cumbria, England. Chip.

  3. Hi Michael Will you be attending/showing any of your models at "Modelshow Europe" in Ede, Netherlands on March 21st this year as I would love to finally see your work with my own eyes. Thanks Chip
  4. Hi Doug I just tried the link and got "Video unavailable, This video is private." So I'm afraid not. Chip.
  5. Absolutely fantastic, way better than the original in my opinion, congratulations on a superb job well done. Chip.
  6. I totally agree, it's the left/second one for me too. Chip.
  7. Excellent video, thanks for filming and sharing. Chip.
  8. Thanks Efferman for the reply I'm in Germany for a month and was hoping it was next weekend as I'm busy at Glasbachrennen this weekend, one day maybe? Thanks again Chip.
  9. Good morning Efferman, Is the convention this weekend or next weekend and where at please as I would love to see your creations with my own eyes. Thanks Chip.
  10. Hi Berthil Just a slight observation if you are amending the instructions, there is a blue 3l pin added in step 40 which floats until step 42 which is where I think it should be added Thanks again for all your work, I'm thoroughly enjoying this, albeit very slowly, build Chip
  11. Many thanks Berthil for your swift reply. I've just downloaded Part 1 - Ver 1.4. and I'm very impressed with the notes, it makes me realise I'd never thought about the timing until reading them, fortunately I'm only up to step 22, so I will proceed with extreme caution. I can see this being a very long, very enjoyable and at times very, very frustrating journey. Keep up the excellent work. Chip P.S. Step 25, only four 1x9 beams and not five?
  12. I can only echo what others have said about this fantastic work. I've always admired the ball factory, but never attempted it, but I thought I'll give this version a go. At step 15 I can't fathom out where the 1x7 beam goes, I can see the red shaded area and it looks like the 1x7 added in step 13 has grown into a 1x8, obviously I'm missing something here, any help is much appreciated. Thanks agin for all your hard work Chip
  13. "Does anyone have suggestions as to what to order and where to get them?" Personally I bought a couple of boxes of these and have never had a problem with any of the modules I've built and a lot cheaper than genuine Lego balls. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Quercetti-2530-100-MARBLES/dp/B00TWFXCEA/ref=sr_1_3/260-4786638-4357214?ie=UTF8&qid=1543938769&sr=8-3&keywords=quercetti+marbles Hope this helps Chip
  14. Fantastic pictures, I love the giant S Brick on your low trailers. I must put this event into my diary for next year, it looks superb. Thanks for the photos. Chip.
  15. Just had a quick measure in my cab with my arms and I think the seats are in perfect proportions, OK, mine is a DAF and not an MAN, but they will all be very similar I think. Anyway it looks superb inside and out.
  16. Hi all As someone who has just a handful of GBC modules built I've been watching this with interest for quite some time and I must say it is a fantastic job all four of you have done. I'm off to Lego World myself on the Monday and I'm really looking forward to seeing this with my own eyes. Congratulations to everyone involved and IF I ever get around to building a train layout for GBC I'll include this for sure Chip

BrickTracks: R104 Switch Kickstarter is LIVE!

That is how I understand it, I'm also a first time backer and I'm sure it said you will pay nothing if it does not reach the full amount.
  18. Excellent, I'm looking forward to these projects developing, very interesting.
  19. Simply stunning, very well done.
  20. Looking forward to this very much. Will you be doing instructions/lxf file or something similar? Thanks
  21. I'm really liking the look of this, following with great interest. Keep up the good work. Chip.
  22. Hello Classic man Once I'd opened the 2nd file in LDD I used the "hide" function to hide the "new" pieces that have been added since step 1 one at a time (taking care to make sure you could actually take them off if you had the model in your hands), then when you've stripped the model back to what you had after step 1 you simply undo the steps one at at time and add the real pieces. I hope you understand and that it helps you. Regards Chip.
  23. "I built the loader... but could never get it, or the cart working reliably.... it always seemed like the cart + M motor were underpowered, or straining too much to drive the whole loader mechanism" I had exactly the same problems. I would love a more reliable set up. Thanks to everyone who is making all this possible.
  24. @ Blakbird " The wheel is clearly visible right in the middle of the front rail." It is when you know where it is and now I've seen it, but it took me quite a while to notice it, appointment made for new glasses. Thanks Chip
  25. Hi everybody First of all a very big THANK YOU to everybody involved with recreating these wonderful machines and the instructions so that we can all enjoy them I've just started on the Bucket Wheel Tower and Six Heads I also have Lift Triggered by a Stuck Ball approx 80% complete 1 small mistake I think in the instructions is on page 73 (steps 23/24) there are black pins going in where there is already a 48989 cross block, easy enough to move said cross block by 1 hole On page 80 (step 56) there is a black pin and a small wheel and I cannot for the life of me see where they go, any help will be much appreciated Thanks again Chip
