Jim Posted May 12, 2014 I've frontpaged your MOC. And I think it's time to assign you that well earned PRO tag

Renderbricks Posted May 12, 2014 Phantastic. You have a LDD file of that I can render? *:-)
Lakop Posted May 12, 2014 Where can I buy it !? I'll have two. For those that have the parts to build the chassis I would love to see a different colour body. That's a fantastic piece of work. H Back view is a winner for me! I second that. H
Lipko Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Thank you all for the comments, and thank for the frontpage and the pro tag (which I don't think I earned yet, compared to more talented builders with larger portfolios). Some more infos about the model: The rear suspension is based on the real model, but I didn't have much reference about it, only some schematics. The suspension uses an extra Lego rubber band (maybe you can spot it on the images), because the body is quit heavy compared to the chassis. About the quattro drive: all DTM cars have basically the same (the chassis, the engine, everything is extremely regulated) and all have rear wheel drive. The LDD version will soon be ready (about 1-2 weeks). I haven't decided about the video yet, I'm still thinking what to put into it. Blakbird Posted May 12, 2014 This model is highly modular, so it will be much pretty easy to build even without instructions. So, not like the V12 then?
Lipko Posted May 12, 2014 So, not like the V12 then? Well, no I still don't dare to built the V12
dhc6twinotter Posted May 12, 2014 Awesome car! Rear suspension is sweet, and I really like the roll cage setup. Nicely done!
captainmib Posted May 12, 2014 Why are you guys building so much awesome car mocs! Can't decide what to build first. Seriously, great looking car. Looks realistic and still not too overdone. Needs instructions ofcourse...

Thirdwigg Posted May 13, 2014 Great job on the car. The body work looks great, and the suspension is very authentic.
Lipko Posted May 13, 2014 Unfortunately I can't make a full precise LDD file due to some LDD bugs (like with the shocks) and the lack of flexible axes. I don't plan to recreate the model in LDraw for a while.

drdesignz Posted May 14, 2014 Very cool. I saw it on The Lego Car Blog earlier today.
__________________________ Posted May 18, 2014 This is stunning. Love the underbody panels, use of half pins for Audi sign, etc.! I'd use a wider rear fin, and chrome black rims. But that may be less realistic (;
pwessels Posted May 23, 2014 I'm a longtime lurker, but this model is so stunning I had to react. Very cool. I actually send this model to Audi Sport (with explicit credits to Lipko ofcourse). They found it very cool: "thank you very much, this is very cool. What about coming to a DTM race and expose your Lego RS 5 DTM in our Team & Media Hospitality. We would supply the tickets for you. With best regards Your Audi Sport Facebook Team" I already told them (again) this is not my model, but would like to bring them into contact with Lipko. But as I'm a new user I can't PB him. Lipko, please react and I will forward your information. Again: very cool model!
