Paul Boratko Posted May 11, 2014 That's pretty awesome... I've been wanting to incorporate a roll cage into a car for years, but never did... Was thinking about doing a demolition derby car or something like that...
Rishab N Posted May 11, 2014 Great car!. Interesting solution for the headlights
Paul Boratko Posted May 11, 2014 I also like the use of the 1/2 bushings for the Audi Emblem.. Very creative....
PhyBuilder Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) Despite the many holes in the bodywork, for which one cannot do much except building with System parts, you captured the look and character of the car very well. When I squeeze my eyes to see the front unsharp, it clearly looks exactly like an Audi: the single frame grill, the lights... the "face" of the car just stands. I like the back too, where you used the bionicle eyes to create the actual look of the recent Audi models (A4, A6). Also I like that you've not ignored the bottom and used many black panels there. Kronos Posted May 12, 2014 Great job once again Lipko. Do have an LDD file available? Were you planning on instructions or not?
Lipko Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the comments. I'm not planning to make instructions but I will make a digital version for sure. The LDD file is almost done. This model is highly modular, so it will be much pretty easy to build even without instructions. Edited May 12, 2014 by Lipko
rm8 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Today In the morning I drove through parking near Audi A5 and thought that it is almost impossible t o build such complex modern shapes, especially front end in LEGO. ...and now I see that i was wrong:) awesome Audi!!!I like its aggressive front, front and rear lights and "mouth" (grille frame). :))) Edited May 12, 2014 by rm8
Jim Posted May 12, 2014 Wow, this is an awesome model! I love the fact that the body is completely separated from the chassis
