EDIT: Now I see it was a joke!

Now who are the two members who voted for mine as best overall while I was gone?

Ok, now it's getting old! ;-)

Sorry. I was honestly trying to help and just answered thinking, gee, if he'd just look back a couple of posts he would see, but anyway.

Turns out if I would have just looked back a couple of posts, I would have seen it was just a dern joke. *sigh*

so unworthy of my title sometimes. :-/

Didn't see this topic first :-P . Anyway, my votes go to:

Best Creative Wizard: Here I voted for the Snake Oil guy. He's just so creative. I would've never even thought about making a Wild West Wizard. Second would be Phes' wizard, because it original to make a pirate wizard.

Best Overall Wizard: Sir Dillon's wizard wins. His hat rules. His wand rules. His iron arm rules. He just looks really steampunky/fantasy-like and I really dig steampunk and fanstasy stuff.

Best Wizard's Workshop: Sir Nadroj. I just really love the tree with all the birds. I like wizards with birds :-) .

They're all good, but I just thought these were the best ones ;-) .

BTW, if we had a 'Overall coolest looking wizard' category, my vote would go to Khorne. *knight*

Lol! You heard the man! Get an 'Overall Coolest Looking Wizard' category up asap :-P !

Can't argue with any of the points made really. Even Aluvar himself noted that wearing all black might not be a great idea, but it was all I had handy for him.

As for the workshop, it wasn't even meant as an entry, it was just a very general background. I have absolutely no castle sets or mocs built, and he would have looked silly on a pirate ship or island >:-) so it was just an attempt at a few magic-y items and the obligatory birds. There's my only argument: the comment about colours. The birds specifically asked to be in the picture and who am I to turn them down? The book and potions had to be something contrasting, or it would have just been 'brown book on brown table next to brown wall on black floor' and I was hoping to avoid that. It was a form of compensation for my incredibly bad photography skills to some extent.

Yes, I'll build something appropriate one day. A tavern probably, something in a style that works for both castle and pirates, and then I'll have my revenge on all of you! Kidding ... kidding ... ;-)

Bottom line for me, it was a fun little practice, I hope to see many more such contests that offer a chance to expand into different, or in some cases, rusty areas of my building.
