MikroMan Posted July 7, 2013 I've been itching to build a Steampunk MOC ever since I've acquired a large amount of brown bricks... And yes, this is my first Steampunk MOC MikroMan humbly presents Tri-Cannon Eradicator, Steampunk edition: The frontal Eradicator view, with Dr. Sinister behind the controls. Side view. Back view, exhausts. C&Cs welcome
Saint Posted July 7, 2013 Nice !! I like the overal feel of the machine, but instead of a sight thing in front of the good docter, perhaps a lot of levers ?? Somehow this crazy machine screams levers !! to me ! Grtz Saint
MikroMan Posted July 7, 2013 I've thought of using some more manual controls, but I was limited to a single lever on his right side, because I didn't have any 3L bars or brown/DBG levers But I'm still happy with the overall look, though I wish I had more pearl gold pieces. This one has used all of them from my collection
Only Sinner Posted July 7, 2013 This thing is awsome! It looks great from any angle, too. It's not going to roll with the gear wheels meshed like that but that's ok. The whole thing looks good.
Bob De Quatre Posted July 7, 2013 Really nice The back of the top cannon could use a 2x2 round brick or plate.
Andy D Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) I really like it! Steampunk facinates me and I would love to build some, but I cannot imagine in "steampunk". On close inspection, another whimisical element are the gear-wheels for motivation. It appears to me that they would be in conflict with each other it it tried to move. But this is part of the whimsey of steampunk. Whoops! It looks like someone else noticed this as well. Still nice! soccerkid6 Posted July 7, 2013 Great steampunk build, especially for your first The gears throughout look excellent and I the detailing on the back
ManInATopHat Posted July 8, 2013 That is sweet! Nicely "steampunkified" creation, very detailed, very attractive. Outstanding creation!
Laura Beinbrech Posted July 9, 2013 While I like the overall design aesthetic of this worthy piece of mad science, being a natural-born engineer, those meshed gear wheels just have my design functionality senses screaming "That's not right!!!!" at the top of their lungs. Other than the highly non-functional traction gear, great work!
lightningtiger Posted July 9, 2013 Now that's steam-punk......AWESOME tank 'MikroMan'.......Brick On Steam-Punk On !
DPrime Posted July 9, 2013 Very cool design! The good doctor needs a helmet and/or ear protection though, I think. ;)
DraikNova Posted July 16, 2013 While awesome, I think the steam tank in the back needs to be slightly larger.
