lorax Posted October 17, 2012 This was a quick little build. I built a mini Lego city inside a 8 x Lego brick. (not sure about the clouds though). Thanks for looking

ProfessorChaos Posted October 17, 2012 Great, i like it very much! "quick little build" ? how long did it taket o build it? Looks like a work of Art, would be a pitty to dismantle it imho.
Blue Wren Posted October 17, 2012 Wonderful build. I think the colours and scale work well. I'm interested to know what constitutes a quick build too.
lorax Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) Thanks LuxorV and Professor Chaos (Edit: and thank you Blue Wren, your post came through when I was writing my post). It took a couple of hours I guess, (which is on and off building time). Edited October 17, 2012 by lorax
Kristel Posted October 17, 2012 Wow! This is so clever and so well executed. Those little building are so cute!
harton Posted October 17, 2012 Impressive, I was not sure what I was to expect when I read your title and saw the first image but when you open your "brick" it is clear as water! Buildings are really great, I like your use of the trans bricks. Cute! Well done.

Kai NRG Posted October 17, 2012 Great idea, I love the different house design styles! Really great how the lid lifts off too! Fabulous work!
spzero Posted October 17, 2012 fabulous idea, really clever think the clouds are ok. its obvious what they are
Runamuck Posted October 18, 2012 That is kind of a neat build. It reminds me a bit of some of those Micro Machines sets that open or fold out.
dr_spock Posted October 19, 2012 Cool idea. Nicely done. I think the clouds could work as smoke from factory plants when they are that low. :)
Redhead1982 Posted October 20, 2012 Thanks for sharing this! It's great. It answers the most important question - what's inside a red brick. The mini city and landscape inside are amazing.
deltarex101 Posted October 29, 2012 Woah! thats the first I encountered that building technic still amazing
LegoJalex Posted October 30, 2012 Wonderul! What a great idea and it looks really nice as well. I want to live there
The Blue Brick Posted October 30, 2012 I love the different areas of the scene. The water and the beach area looks great transitioned into the more residential and city area. Great job. I also like that cloud technique you used.
lorax Posted October 31, 2012 Thanks for the kind words. Building this scale was fun, and I am thinking of doing something else this scale (I am preparing a Lego library display, so I might do something for that (maybe change the brick into a Lego book that opens with a world inside).
