  1. Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I posted anything as work and life has been rather busy. I have been building in that time just that not got round to taking photos (bad ones) writing this essay etc. I return with an update of 6 models from Seasons 2 &3 of The Bad Batch. Let’s start with season 2. AT-AC The All Terrain Armored Cannon (AT-AC), was a bipedal walker used by the ground forces of the Galactic Empire during the early Imperial Era. The walker was an early model in the production line that would eventually produce the AT-ST (RoTJ) and AT-DP (Rebels). The front of the head of this walker reminds me of the Imperial Troop Transport. There are no real tricks for this one although I have used the ball joints for the top joint of the legs. I don’t know why I have not used these before on walkers…… Displayed with an Echo minifigure. REMORA The Remora was a transport utilized by Echo during his time with the Clone Underground. The ship was once a mining vessel that had been retrofitted for stealth infiltration, making it ideal for insertion and extraction missions. The high-speed ship was also equipped with a detachable leech vessel (which I have also included). The design of this is based on the Meson Martinet captained by Sidon Ithano and briefly seen in Force Awakens and later in Resistance (I have built that too but that’s for another day). Again, no real tricks for this one, although I like the use of those technic pieces for the engines. A custom Fireball clone figure is used for the display. Now on to Season 3. CX DAGGER VESSEL The CX Dagger vessel was used by the Clone X trooper division of the Galactic Empire in around 18 BBY. It was dagger-shaped and featured twin red-colored engines in the back. A really simple little build. Only little trick is that the dark grey engine section is attached to the rest of the body by the two prongs at the back and is not connected to the large wedges at the front. This was to keep the thickness to a minimum. I am not overly happy with this one but not sure how else to build it in this scale. Displayed with a custom CX Trooper. The helmet is from the General Zod minifigure with the chrome removed using peroxide and then scraped gently with a craft knife. I would rather use official pieces but there was nothing close. IMPERIAL RESEARCH VESSEL This was a type of Imperial transport utilized for the capture, containment and transport of various cloning experiments conducted by the Advanced Science Division. It was manned by Imperial commandos led by Imperial royal guards. One such transport, transport 904, saw its Zillo Beast "Specimen A" escape while traveling in hyperspace forcing it to crash. Another fairly simple build and probably my favourite build of this batch (pun intended). There are a couple of little tricks, like using the door rail plates to fill in gaps when the model goes to 3 studs wide at the front. I also like the use of the horizontal hinge for the bridge at the front. The front prongs are attached using bars and bricks with one stud. Displayed with a custom Dr Hemlock minifigure. No mutilations this time, just labels. ASAJJ VENTRESS’ SHIP The ship had a unique silhouette due to the uneven wings of its fuselage. Outfitted with proton torpedo launchers for escaping dangerous entanglements, the uneven wings on either side of the fuselage cut a silhouette as unique as the ship’s captain. This was a fun build. It was a challenge to keep the wings only two studs high but managed with interlocking parts. The brackets for the engines also helped with the stability. The main trick was for the tie fighter like panels and how to attach them. Took a bit of tinkering but using brackets, clip tiles and plates with handles I finally found something that worked. I also like the use of those tooth pieces for the part of the engines on the wings. Due to the wingspan this model could have seriously got out of hand size wise. Displayed with a custom Ventress figure (all official parts!). PROVIDENCE The Providence was a starship owned by the pirate and treasure hunter Phee Genoa. It has that Star Wars Ugly feel with what is obviously the engine section from an Imperial Shuttle of some sort. Quite a simple build with the tail held together along an umbrella stand bar. The front section is built around brackets. The Phee minifigure for the display is built with all official parts. The hair is from a mini doll. Let me know what you think Cheers, Jon Link to the full Bad Batch Gallery below: https://bricksafe.com/pages/obijon/bad-batch
  2. Hi all, Long time no post ;) And here's my latest powered up based mech, utilising 2 technic hubs and 8 motors. 3 motors are used for walking and turning, 1 motor is for raising the arms and moving the antenna, the rest of the motors are for arms movement. Compare to my previous bot, this bot features wider feet, allowing the mech to walk with less body tilt. I hope you will enjoy watching the video. If you have any question about it ask away :) Take care and happy building. Cheung :)
  3. Hello there! Starting with the photo: I wanted to build an AT-ST for quite a while already and now the monthly building challenge on another LEGO forum was about iconic vehicles from movies... well, the decision what to build was not very hard! I hope you like it...
  4. The specs: - 12 legged walker - Driven by 2 Lego Technic Large angular motors - Powered by Buwizz 3.0 - 1 Technic L motor powers the deployable spinning Lego buzzsaw - 1 Technic S angular motor to power the Lego arrow shooter Sorry Lego purists, but I had to use some non-Lego parts in this design: - 4.7mm aluminum tubes front run the width of the robot providing lightweight articulation of the legs in lieu of plastic axles - Stainless steels axles are used throughout the driveshaft due to the inherent limitations of backlash and breakage caused by the Lego plastic axles - Small nuts are threaded onto the upper leg pivots to maintain the connection as Lego bushes simply cannot retain the axles given the duty cycles.
  5. my first time using arduino and geekservo, not much experience in C but have experience with python I'm planning on making a 8dof rc walker with an arduino that can object detect with 2 ultrasonic sensors /distance sensors, 2 motors per leg hopefully can work made prototype out of only lego and coded with pybricks
  6. Discovering the Battle of Hoth on screen is one of those childhood moments I'll always remember. So my first ever walker MOC had to be the AT-AT from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. And for such an iconic scene, making a diorama-style build was mandatory. At only 19cm (7,4") high, this Midi-Scale AT-AT consists of 924 pieces (1,317 in total with the diorama base & T-47), and is accurately Nanofig-scaled. It features a movable head and fully articulated legs, allowing many different poses. Working at such a compact scale, capturing fine surface detail and smooth, gapless angles for the body required a great deal of unique techniques. My main goal was to make the model feel deceivingly heavy and massive despite its small size, and of course achieve that prop / toy vibe I'm so fond of. The most challenging parts of the AT-AT were definitely the head and legs: the head for its subtle angles and challenging shape, and the legs for proportions, joints, feet, and very slight width differences as you go towards the bottom. Nanofigs (or trophy figs) scale perfectly to both the AT-AT and T-47, which also scale accurately to each other. The diorama base allows the AT-AT feet to be connected in various positions, and can accommodate two flying T-47s. This 358-piece base is optional and comes in a separate parts list, for builders who prefer displaying the model solely (picture 7 in the Flickr album). Parts list also include a string piece that can be easily added to reproduce the harpoon scene (picture 5 in the Flickr album). â–º Instructions for the AT-AT are available at BrickVault. More pictures on my Flickr page.

  8. I usually don't post my Studio MOCs on Eurobricks, but a friend of mine IRL said Eurobricks might get a kick out of this one. I've read in several places online that some 80s kids used to use the old Alien Moon Stalker set (#6940, year 1986) as a substitute for an AT-AT when playing Star Wars with their Lego way back when. That makes last year's AT-AT set (#75288, year 2020) the natural starting point for a remake of the Alien Moon Stalker. This is still a rough WIP, lots and lots left to do, but I hope you like the idea! Comments and criticism welcome.
  9. Hi Guys! It's already 2 months ago I made this MOC but I forget to share here with you so... I show you my MOC of the AT-DT! I let you watch the showcase video. And the quick scene I made for a LEGO Convention. Free PDF Instructions are available on Rebrickable : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-18202/BricksFeeder/at-dt-walker/ Don't forget to mention me if you use this design. ) Let me know what you think about! See you soon!
  10. "This is Commander Ulric, we have broken through the rebel line." "Very good commander. My team will meet you 3 klicks from your position. Keep pushing forward." "Copy that. The rebels will have no idea whats waiting for them. They're finished." "Affirmative commander. This war ends today."
  11. And here comes my latest MOC/mashup. This is an AT-DT which is very briefly seen in Solo, a Star Wars story. Its turret immediatly made me think to a mix between a German WW2 sIG 33 and a FLAK 88. AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr For this model, I have really mashed up existing MOCs found on the Internet, existing sets, and my own freedom. The turret is based on the excellent model from Bricksfeeder on Rebrickable. The front armored panel was modified to remove a stress issue and suppress the gaps between the front and side panels. Side panels were also adapted. The main body is taken from the set 75201: First Order AT-ST but updated (rebuilt) for balance purpose. I kept the rotating mechanism. For the legs, I first started from those from the 75201 but then I completely rebuilt them to better match the canon shape. I found a robust solution with the feet connection from set 75083 (AT-DP) allowing me to connect th enice design of Bircksfeeder's feed to my legs. Balance is maintained as long as you do not shake it too much. Rear view: a minifig can easily sit inside. AT-DT rear view by Veynom, on Flickr AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr Regarding scale, it can be compared to a minifig and to a smaller AT-MB (Mobile Battery) AT-MB and AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr AT-DT and AT-MB by Veynom, on Flickr Then I've asked my friend Muad'Brick to abuse of his virtual skills on my pictures and he came up with this: AT-DT - Ewoks Killer by Veynom, on Flickr And this: AT-DT Flower Power Variant by Veynom, on Flickr Ans because size does not matter, here is the microscale version (13 parts): Micro AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr PS: ABefore you ask, no, I have no LDD of my final model but the excellent original model from Bricksfeeder is available on Rebrickable.
  12. Make more animals! So I made a six legged walking dragon. It is based on "basic walking frame" by JK Brickworks ( http://jkbrickworks.com/motorized-mic... ). Very primitive, however kids like when the veeery slow dragon tries to catch them :) Video:
  13. (Sorry for poor picture quality.) Decided to finally get around to posting my MOC/MOD of the AT-ST walker, with TLJ showing off the FO version of it. I decided to have both versions present, with the original model converted simply by adding a few new parts. The MOC is based off the walker that came with the Battle of Endor set, with a almost identical head, but with the legs being built with ball joints to create a more movie accurate look. This makes the walker far more posable and flexible, however it can be difficult to set up and quite fidgety. The legs can be held in place by 'stoppers' built into the side of the legs. Original walker and the 5 parts used for FO version. Ball joint 4x4 piece with Bionical joint. More shots of the FO version:

  15. I made this custom Walker for my nephew's 12th birthday (hence "M12"). It takes inspiration from the Power Miners theme (hence "Power"), set 8957. I released the .io model on Star Wars Day 2019 on Bricklink here. A backup is available on MediaFire here. Please let me know if you like it! I will post some pics of the real build soon.
  16. The gun is as compact and light weight as possible. The leg stride has a very small vertical lift so the model can carry the extra weight of the gun without shaking itself to bits. Slowing it down is not an option.
  17. "Sir, we don't have the firepower." "Use the Scout Walkers!" -Imperial comm intercept The Variable Terrain Scout Transport is the first walker in the Variable Terrain family. Originally, the head of the walker was meant to be placed on an Imperial armored vehicle (currently a still on-going project) as a turret; however, the turret was deemed unsuitable with the vehicles designed (though it could still be used as a turret), so it was decided to use it in a pint-sized scout walker. With this in mind, inspiration was taken from the 2016 AT-ST in regards to the legs. The overall design is similar, albeit shrunk to about half the size in most of its proportions. I'm satisfied overall with the design, though as a cockpit for a walker, I find the controls a bit lacking (as I'd prefer a bit more); I also wanted the twin cannons in front to be able to articulate up and down like the AT-ST, but I thought it was low enough to not matter much (as well as having the side armament compensate a bit for this)- due to its connection method, the twin cannons can be modified with bars and clips to articulate, similar to the ones on the VT-IT. Th VT-ST is armed with twin heavy blaster cannons, as well as a missile launcher on each side, all in a fixed forward position. It is also equipped with a grenade launcher on either side that can articulate in multiple directions, as well as a short range comm antenna. SW Imperial Turret #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The VT-ST is the mainstay of the Variable Terrain line, and they make up the bulk of the various VT models assigned to Imperial units in the field. Although Brickthana Engineering hoped its VT line could be a competitive alternative to All Terrain family, various issues from production problems to under-performance (among others) hampered its chances, and Brickthana eventually accepted its current place, and began focusing on smaller and more well-defined and in-depth projects. 18. "We got walkers!" "Don't worry, they're just eye-tees" - Rebel radio chatter This simple MOC is part of my VT family of walkers, being a sort of offshoot of my original VT-PT prototype, and is based off of the walker in the Imperial Trooper Battlepack (in a kind of roundabout way). Envisioned as a more armed and protected reconnaissance walker by Brickthana Engineering, the Variable Terrain Infantry Transport featured similar construction to both its bigger brother the VT-PT, as well as turrets used by both Imperial and Rebel forces. Unfortunately for Imperial forces, combat performance for the VT-IT fell below expectations and they were often stripped for parts for both VT-RT and VT-PT walkers by the units they were assigned to. Brickthana desperately tried to prop up the walker's abilities, but they finally yielded to the operators' preference for previous reconnaissance walkers and shut down production. After a time, and still having many of the walkers still in warehouses, Brickthana began work on a successor to the VT-IT; this second attempt has four legs, and is planned to have room for at least two or three troops onboard. Retaining the same weapon loadout as the original (or an equivalent one), this version is thought to be a direct response to both the lacking performance of the first one, as well as the Rebel's Scorpius Mk I. The VT-IT is armed with a two twin missile launchers, as well as a chin-mounted twin light blaster cannon; it's also equipped with a powerful, and detachable, communications array. SW Imperial VT-IT #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-IT #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Inside the cramped cockpit, the VT-IT has a pair of joystick controls, a weapons sensor, a targeting array, and a holotransmitter. SW Imperial VT-IT #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr If you want to build this yourselves, here's the instructions: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oek7pVqNSDlEji5pPW4taSax8E0mxqr1 As usual, any feedback would be much appreciated
  19. Hello Eurobricks! Here I present you a walker I made for my techno-fantasy project. It belongs to a technomagically advanced race called feans. Feanerys was once a prosperous planet inhabited by peaceful people. However, everything has changed when the armies of demons and their undead minions appeared. The feans desperately fought for years in forests and fungal swamps of Feanerys until their Queen decided to open a portal to another world and to leave the doomed homeland. And now they arrived on a new planet inhabited by humans, elves, dwarves and other races. They should unite with local population to make a last stand against the legions of Hell that are about to conquer the entire universe. Fean walkers were developed during the demon invasion on Feanerys and were based on civilian transport. Back in their world, they strode across forests and mushroom swamps and made sudden strikes at the invaders. Now one of these walkers serves in the squad of remaining survivors led by the Queen herself. The walker is painted in pastel pink and purple colors which are traditional for people of Feanerys: Its legs can turn and lift up: At the base of the walker there is a technomagical reactor which supplies the energy. The walker is armed with two cannons which fire ball-like projectiles: Within the projectiles there is hot plasma which is held by antithermal shell and powerful electromagical fields: Upon impact, the shell is torn apart, unleashing destruction on the target - for example - this giant undead spider: A fean pilot controls her walker with a control panel: The cockpit is protected by a windscreen, aided by technomagical force fields on the sides. The empty cockpit with a comfortable seat: The engine is located right behind the cockpit: Thank you for watching and reading! I hope you like this MOC! A bit more photos can be seen on my Flickr!
  20. FIRST ORDER AT-ST WALKER Two years after the modification of the 75153 set, I decided to make a much better version of this vehicle. New design has 863 parts! There are a lot of AT-ST projects, a few were my inspiration (mainly Gol design and ldd_modelmaker), but I was constantly looking for my own solutions and improvements. PDF Instructions will be available when I'll finish real one! Stay tuned The vehicle appeared in The Last Jedi movie, without head... The next step is to make a list of parts. Then destroy the old AT-ST version and count the bricks. More on my YouTube preview movie! https://flic.kr/p/2jisNDW
  21. "Although versatile, Imperial Scout walkers are not all-powerful. We need dedicated Patrol walkers, and soon." -Commander Selm The second walker in the Variable Terrain family, the Variable Terrain Patrol Transport was the result of designers blending the plans for the Scout Transport and Recon Transport together into one composite idea. The various STs were implemented in a variety of roles that they were not necessarily suited for, leading to mission proficiency dropping. Although some tasks could be taken over by the complementary RTs, there still exists a gap between the two where a new walker would hep the mission profile. Thus the VT-PT was born. Designed to work well in both urban and open environments, it features increased armor and a more robust armament than its counterparts, in addition to a fairly quick speed thanks to its reinforced legs and servo-motors. The main armament is flexible Heavy Blaster Cannon with a wide arc of fire, with the secondary armament being the twin missile launchers on either side. In addition, the VT-PT also has an advanced forward sensor and a redundant communications array for keeping in touch with command and other patrolling forces. SW Imperial VT-PT #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-PT #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Although simple, the walker is equipped with an on-board AI to aid the pilot. SW Imperial VT-PT #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Many features are shared between the VT-PT and the VT-ST, including a general interior layout. SW Imperial VT-PT #4 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr A look inside at the targeting controls, sensor gauge, and holo-transmitter. SW Imperial VT-PT #5 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Overall, this was meant to be the equal of the VT-ST, fulfilling a similar role while carrying a different weapons load out and leg structure. If you want to build this yourselves, here's the instructions: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ukXIVIj0IrDZYed7qi6PywzJW8DTJlSV As usual, and feedback would be appreciated
  22. Hi, This is my first post in Eurobricks, glad to be here! : ) I have started building a Kashyyyk battle scene and as a first part of it is the MOC of and AT-RT walker from SW EP3. A tough build indeed, considering the small scale of the actual vehicle in the movie. Here you can see few pictures of the "draft" model as it is now. I am going to modify the legs with a more refined solution for the joints and also you will notice usage of several different shades of green. I intend to test versions in bright, sand and lime green colors to choose the best looking combination. Hopefully soon I will be able to post better quality pictures with and upgraded walker. You can see pictures in Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112685468@N03/46482236214/in/photostream/ and here:
  23. "Not as pompous as claiming 'All Terrain', we instead provide... variability." -Brickthana Engineering Executive Following the increase in the numbers of Rebel groups, the Galactic Empire needed more equipment to deal with the new threat, and turned to numerous companies to fill the gaps. An alternative to the 'All Terrain' family of walkers, the Variable Terrain series was meant to be a cheaper, more easily produced addition to Imperial forces. Part of this initiative is the Variable Terrain Reconnaissance Transport, a group of walkers designed to supplement their AT counterpart in a variety of ways. While following a superficially similar design, Brickthana has tried, with varying degrees of success, to expand the mission capability of its walkers. To try and compete with Rebel designs, versatility was a must for these new vehicles being made. First up is the initial prototype of the VT-RT concept, eventually getting the designation of 'VT-RT(L*)' and be the basis of the VT-RT(X). Although broad/blocky, a design 'flaw' inherent to many of the VT family, the aim of the designers were to add more protection to both the driver and the important components of the walker itself. Eventually these walkers would be replaced, seeing some use as turrets after modifications. SW Imperial VT-RT(L) Prototype #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) Prototype #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The second walker of the RT series is the VT-RT Experimental. Being dubbed the 'Expendable' by its drivers, the VT-RT(X) was a further step in trying to get as much from its frame as possible, with four versions being created. While all had the same base model, they could be modified into the different versions to operate in different mediums- these being the standard land configuration (Experimental-Land), an amphibious configuration (Experimental-Sea), an aerial configuration (Experimental-Air), and finally one meant for use in space (Experimental-Vacuum). Issues plagued the RT(X)- from certain system malfunctions to poor handling, eventually forcing Brickthana to review the design and begin work on a new version of the walker. The third walker of the RT series is the RT Heavy. The biggest of the three 'standard' VT-RTs, the RT(H) design was completed first. Meant to be a versatile infantry support vehicle, it ended up not performing to expectations, though it was still useful in its role. While it does have some amphibious capability, it was not equipped like the RT(X-S), and therefore is not as reliable in the water as its cousin. To compensate for some of its deficiencies, it is armed with a heavy blaster cannon and two detachable grenade launchers, as well as a more powerful transmitter. SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The fourth walker of the RT series is the RT Medium. The RT(M) was something of a misplaced design, as originally there was only two sizes that the RT would come in. This changed when it was decided that a design in the works (a troop transport) needed better escorts, and the RT(M) was created. In addition, there was an explicit order to try and incorporate parts/sections of one into the other, to ease production and interchangeability. While it was initially proposed to have a rotating bottom, to be converted into a turret, this was denied. Though it was mounted on a pair of legs, the body retained some of its features as a turret, including its armored sides and controls that can fold forward. SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The fifth and final walker of the RT series is the RT Light, the most direct counterpart to its AT compatriot. The RT(L) was designed to be a well balanced machine, combining decent armament, speed, and protection. Like its bigger brother the RT(H), it can float, however it wasn't designed with this explicitly in mind, and therefore has no propulsion; furthermore, if rocked too much, it can easily tip over and sink. SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr A semi-addition to the RT project is the RT Droid, an automated bi-pedal walker. The VT-RT(D) is in a sort of grey area, and so is not fully included with the rest of the RT walkers. Instead, it's been put with other Brickthana droids, and may even have its designation changed. SW Imperial VT-RT(D) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr If you want to build any of these for yourselves, here's the instructions: VT-RT(X): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yff351-w3sy1eyjQWu0awe88lGsyM2Nk/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(H): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wtnQpUb9V0GD_j1_cZuB9T0KiSRMrKJQ/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(M): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gJOcc4ppMsbLF82g1kfIGiZ7wjpzxWR3/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(L): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tipChHxhxKB54LxdCGOvqzqOZEkCfRVs/view?usp=sharing As usual, any feedback would be most appreciated! P.S. As far as the VT-RT(D) goes, you can see more pictures on Flickr, and I plan on including it in a topic with other Imperial Droids I'm currently working on.
  24. Hi everyone! It's been a very long time since I posted anything online and I have decided that this ends now! In the next couple of weeks I will upload a few creations of mine that I built in the last year or so and never published.. until now! The first in this series of MOCs is the tiny minifig-scale AT-RT walker. I designed this one to have all the articualtion it needed to fully crouch down for storage in a LAAT/i or an AT-TE while maintaining the right proportions and shaping when standing up, too. There really isn't much to say about this tiny build, so here come the pictures! :D I hope you like them and if you do, leave a comment. And even if you don't like them.. constructive critcism is always welcome! ;) Instructions can be found in the Spoiler below:
