So far in the past years, we've seen in a Christmas Winter Village: *Toy Shop *Winter Bakery *Post Office What else would you like to see in the future for the Winter Village? My prediction is it's going to be a church or a simple village home. What is your prediction?

Hi! After a few weeks I finished building the second part of my bigger Minecraft project This time it's: The Plains Village Together with The Lush Cave both MOCs create one big piece of terrain! There are about 12k parts, 75cm high and about 11kg of weight (be careful not to drop it on your leg) You can see the whole construction process in the video below. How do you like it?

This market stall is selling fantasy memorabilia in front of a replica of Bilbo Baggins' family home. Santa happily munches on a pretzel and watches the busy shoppers go by as a shopkeeper cuts up the wrapping paper for her latest customer. Hope everyone has a happy holiday and a happy new year!

Hello, I would like to present to you my MOC of Santa's Sleigh. Initially it was supposed to by more typical endeavor but my local LUG (WAWLUG) held a small contest to build whatever using Stuntz motors. It only had to go half a meter, which gave birth to idea of a Diesel Sleigh :) The sleigh is pulled by three Stuntz motors and one regular and on very even surface can go up to about 1,5 meters. The biggest problem is the fact the sleigh have only one wheel that is used to "ring" two bells it has. Those will swing back and forth as the sleigh go. I hope you'll enjoy this little piece of X-mas, even though it is a bit late :)

I wanted to make a medieval village instead of a castle. Marketplace, windmill, barn, watchtower, village house, field, peasants, warriors, knights, wizards, and lots of greenery. It was a work that I really enjoyed doing, hope you like it too. I would like to join (Create a Theme Contest) but unfortunately it is hard to put a price for this big diorama. Although it is a 150cmx75cm moc, there is so much detail inside. IG: medel_brick

It's a ski rental shop where the minifigures of my winter village could buy or rent ski, snowboards, ice skates, helmets and all things you need or ou can use when you're in mountains. Photos are a little bit old but now I've add lights and other details. It's Christmas Time...Santa's Cottage (on LEGO IDEAS too) It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas and as usual in this period it's time for a Christmas themed creation. This cozy shelter is the home of Santa Claus, who is preparing his world tour for delivering gifts. It's called Santa's Cottage and you can support it on LEGO IDEAS too. If you like the bizarre Santa's Cottage please consider to give it a chance of becoming an actual LEGO IDEAS set. You can shortcut straight to LEGO IDEAS platform using this handy link: https://bit.ly/Santas-Cottage-Norton74 Santa's Cottage features a classic Xmas color scheme, an uncommon shape and an unconventional doors/windows style. The main feature is probably the asymmetrical roof with a very sloping shape to the left. The woodshed is located under the excess roof. The red/white/black color combo is simple but effective, and the snowy trees in the background match well. Last but not least the door and windows are round, a shape rarely spotted on a cottage, but quite common in Hobbit houses. Santa, who is coming home from a relaxing walk, has also a nice off-road vehicle painted with a color scheme matching with the cottage. You can spot it on the right. This is probably my last MOC for this year and I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

You could smell it before you could see it. That salty, damp, stench of rancid meat, exposed in the open sea. Fish. As far as the eye could see. Fish hanging from balconies. Fish hanging rom hooks. Fish rotting in boxes and nets. Fish guts, fish fins, fish oil. And everything smelled the same. Fish. Smugglers, wanderers, fugitives, fishermen, sailors, and outlaws, they all came to Skaldar Port looking for an opportunity to star over. And for some reason, dealing fish seemed like a good start. For me, something else was at stake. I wasn’t looking for a new start. I was looking for a man that has been hiding in the shadows for way too long. The sack of coins tinkled as I walked the narrow streets of Skaldar. Glancing at signs and banners, I tried averting those eyes filled with temptation that arise in the depths of misery, and searched for the place where the dealer said he would be. The Smelly Inn. Sounded just right. I had the coin and now a target on my back. I could only hope Res would have the information I craved from the moment I left home. But I couldn’t help but think... something smelled fishy. ________ Louis of Nutwood. Skaldar Port. Probably one of my largest builds so far. Really hope you like it. Let me know what you think. Skol!

(Afoland Castle Game. Meronia) King Edric called a runner and gave him an assignment - to go to Kvynn, find Gerard there and give him a letter. The messenger soon reached Kvynn and began asking where he could find Gerard. Naturally, every local knew where Gerard lived, but they could not deny themselves the pleasure of chasing the messenger through the village. Running from house to house, he still managed to find the right one and convey the message.

A Trebuchet.cro colleague talked me into to start building castles. First I built a small tower a few years ago , and then I expanded to the buildings in the city and the surrounding countryside and port. After collecting bricks for a long time, I decided to knock down a small tower and make a castle, so that part of the interior can be seen. The castle is 80 cm high. We start from the kitchen, then the great hall, the royal bedroom and finally the sleeping princess. It is planned to raise the walls and to expand the city and the port.

Quietude “Close your eyes for a moment and cherish the dark. Can you feel the warmth of the sun? Can you feel the gentle touch of the blowing wind? Can you feel the waves moving up and down, washing the sand and taking away all your worries? With eyes closed, stare into the horizon. Embrace your past and face your future. Know that what is done cannot be changed, only accepted. And what lays beyond is your destiny, waiting to be written. One step. One stone at a time. What do you see?” “I see a little farm. Pine trees in a distance. Apples and cherries as well. Horses galloping free. I see water. Running, falling, washing the land anew. I see a thin breath of air swirling up, dancing out of a chimney. The air smells of rosemary bread. I can hear the bells ringing with the stroll of a cow. Feels like home. And I cannot wait to go inside. Someone is expecting me. Someone I have missed for so, so long. I open the door. There is a woman by the heath, curled in a wool blanket. Next to her, a furry thing coiled like a pretzel. “Is it a chicken?” “No! It’s a dog!” “Aw. Who is she?” “The most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” Her big brown eyes glistened, reflecting the world painted gold. Staring at me, I saw beyond every mountain and every sea. I saw the future I would pursue with every heartbeat. Louis of Nutwood __________ Summer Joust, Category 12x12 Hope you like it. Skol!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to all!! The most recent post I made about my winter was in 2019 and during this period I have always continued to update it. Since then, the situation has gotten a bit out of hand and the size of the village has practically doubled with lights, sounds and motorized parts. Today I present to you the new winter village 2024 edition. I have, as always, dedicated an album on Flickr and, listen up, a dedicated video on YouTube!!! 20241220_202310 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr 20241220_202258 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr 20241229_095444 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr IMG_7943 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr IMG_7949 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr IMG_7946 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr IMG_7972 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr 20241229_094949 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr Here's the complete Flickr gallery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/150506899@N08/albums/72177720322850603/with/54232582491 And here's the link of a detailed Youtube video: I hope you enjoy it Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to all

Hi everyone, For the coming Lego event, Lego World, I have build three landscapes. One of them is based on the Fright Knights and another one is based on the Imperial Armada. This landscape is based on the old Western theme of 1996 and I focused more on the civilian part of the theme. The landscape was already finished in July, but it was a bit boring to look at. Only the house in the front has interior. The house next to the bank has a mechanism to turn the flames on the roof. Someone crash landed very close to the village. For more pictures, go to my Flickr album. Feedback and questions are welcome. Sander

This is my first Moc after coming out of the Dark Age. I have always loved winter and Christmas and I am very happy to have spent two years building this village; unfortunately the time available is always little and I can put some bricks only a couple of times a month. The photos are a bit old and a new version of this village is already under construction _DSC2659 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr _DSC2611 by Alessio Stebel, su Flickr Link to the complete gallery: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmbqiRwn

We have a family tradition of creating a Lego Christmas Village with our family. This year we took it to the next level with hundreds of lights from Brickstuff and thousands and thousands of bricks. The only official set we used is the train from the 2016 Holiday Train set to which we added a battery pack, lights and the remote control upgrade. My 5th entry for the Colossal Castle Contest, into the Village Life category. Credit for the pine tree design goes to Chris Maddison, who recently shared his design in a tutorial here. The build fits on a 48×48 baseplate, and three of the buildings have interiors (pull out rooms). Daydelon has plenty of excellent shops to meet your various needs. Brianna’s Bakery, Tryggr’s Supplies, and the Toy Shop are all located on the first stretch of the main street. Even in the winter the city keeps bustling, with the frozen river providing a great place for children to skate and the snow covered streets still see plenty of traffic from dog sleds and others. And as usual, you can find plenty more pictures on brickbuilt. Thank you for looking

Hi, I would like to share my winter village. It's my first experience in this size and I hope I didn't mess too much. It's not comparable to most of the works here because it's way simpler I think, but I enjoyed doing it and hope you enjoy seeing it. It's a 5x3 32*32 baseplate layout plus the north pole. Comments and suggestions are welcome (if kind ) The whole layout Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Hockey game Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Fun Park and Letters to Santa Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Ski Slope Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Nativity Scene in the park Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Carolers and Musicians Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Curling Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Main Plaza Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Look-alike concert Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Chair Lift Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr Ice Scuplting Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr The North Pole Lego Winter Village 2017 by Matteo M, on Flickr other Photos in flickr album https://flic.kr/s/aHsmcaadnF

Thulgard by David de Rijke, on Flickr Few of the ships of the once so mighty Mitgardian expedition survived their voyage, but the brave survivors joined up and found land! On the vast continent of Vela, yet unknown to Historica, they founded their new home, Thulgard. As the wood of the ships was used for pallissades and watch towers, the crews went out to forage and build some structures to survive the incoming winter. They did not go unnoticed, however... Their new settlement of Thulgard seemed to be placed in the domain of the Empire, and some imperial officers already stood at the gates to reclaim it, diplomatically. Not a single change however that Mitgardian captain Amkyr will let that happen! Thulgard lays in the Westerlands, the -obviously- western region of the Empire, ruled by the house of Glainthes, who have their seat near Bunnock's Barn, half a day's march away. Bunnock manor by David de Rijke, on Flickr Thulgard might be my most detailed build at this scale. At least it has the best rockwork I have ever produced :p The mountain had been under construction for, like, a year, so I am kind of glad that I am done, for now I sorted out my lego, I can't wait to build much and much more! Alas I kind of forgot I am studying abroad now for some weeks, so I had to hurry with the photography before I left. I might wanna make better pictures when I am back!

It's time for Santa Claus to go! Like every year at this time Santa Claus has to get to work, children all over the world are waiting for him. In my latest diorama you can see Santa Claus leaving his red cabin at the North Pole to get on his sleigh pulled by two Huskys. He has a long way to go... I inserted in the diorama a big animal. Can you spot it? This is probably my last MOC for this year and I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! More info and pictures here. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi all, This is my first post so I'll quickly introduce myself : Alex B. Sign, dad x2, judo practiser and AFOL. Thank you for accepting me in your creative community ! I'd like to share with you my MOC I've uploaded on Lego Idea website : The Station of Memories. The Station of Memories is a metaphor of past memories, when the family was gathering for special family events. It is a place out of time, another space-time in which everyone can connect and remember part of his/her life, out of the current everyday life. This is a simple and small family train station located in a pretty countryside little town. Please see samples below (very low quality). You'll find more details and more pics (better quality) about the concept on the Lego Ideas website here I hope you'll enjoy this concept ! If you like it you can support on Lego Ideas Website.
