    Why wouldn't LEGO do a Confederate flag? It's not a swastika or anything remotely as politically incorrect. It's a flag of a former nation, nothing more.

    I guess kids have changed since I myself was one. Back in the late 80's/early 90's, the Pirates theme was red hot. I was all over it myself (alongside Castle) and I don't think I knew anyone who didn't have any Pirates LEGO themselves. We loved stuff like that. So exciting, so full of adventure. But I guess it's hard to compete with the exposure of tv shows, video games, named characters, a storyline to play out and an overall impressive marketing campaign...

    That would be hilarious, but sell even worse than a Golden Girls set.

    If it's another ship, I sure hope it won't be as much of an unoriginal ripoff of the last Imperial Flagship as The Brick Bounty was of Brickbeard's Bounty... While I'd love to get an Imperial ship of the size and quality as the last one, I doubt it'd be anywhere near as good - and would thus rather see them do something completely different, to avoid dissapointment.

    McDonalds' food is aimed at children as well, but that doesn't make it better than a good steak aimed at an adult. When us adults rate a LEGO set, it's only natural that we rate it with adult eyes.

    A great improvement, that's for sure. An old school feel but with modern colours and parts. I like it. If I were to offer a wee bit of critique, I think the stern looks a bit missing. I like that you removed the cannon there, but perhaps replace it with something a bit more substantial? It looks a bit bare boned right now. But good job overall!

    Ah yes, but this isn't 10210 - this is a different flagship, for the mighty Bluecoats! It was never meant to be a carbon copy, it was always the plan to have it share details with 10210 but still be its' own ship. Actually, I started with the second mast in that position - but it left too much of a gap, so I moved it forward...

    UCS Imperial Trading Post confirmed!!! That'd be the dream, eh? I won't get my hopes up untill there's something more substantial than one guy hearing a rumor. But it'd sure be nice, especially since I (sadly) missed out on the Imperial Flagship - one of the best damn LEGO sets ever released.

    Where 80 % of the sets are anachronistic and absurdly strange vehicles/aircrafts? No thanks.

    The biggest Elves set with the trees is an excellent ressource for interesting parts. I got it last week and haven't regretted it.

    Thanks! It actually does have a functional anchor, you just can't see it in the pictures. I don't have more cannons in brown and didn't quite feel the red cannons were right for the ship...

    Ah. Well if the figure is brand new, I guess it's a fair deal. Not a bargain, but not completely unreasonable either. It is a fairly rare figure. And some figures are worth splurging a bit for. So congrats.

    Not if it's a used figure. Those aren't expensive at all. Heck, even for a brand new figure it wouldn't be a particularly good deal. Sorry.

    You mean adding another sail and have one of them include 3 sails, like in the original Imperial Flagship? I considered it, but decided that it would be too tall for my display case. Of course it's a bluecoat ship! I'd like to, but it would require me to either buy another (very expensive) front sail or completely re-design large parts of the ship. Oh yeah, thanks for pointing that out. It's a clear oversight, I don't know how I missed that. Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
