  1. But if you used the bigger box and the stacking method you could get even more track!
  2. Much improved At this scale I think a small sacrifice in accuracy can be traded for a better overall "feel" and this model now captures the sleekness of the original. As a long time fan of Lamborghinis this is one of the first Lego supercars I've wanted to build myself, are there any super rare or expensive parts?
  3. But aren't the tyre tracks 2 blazers wide?
  4. I kind of understand the limited edition thing but wouldn't this have been much more fun if it was minifig sized. Then you could use it in MOCs
  5. Well done on capturing the classic 911 shape so well. I like the way you've changed the wheels around for the different photos. Best is Gold on the race car and Black/polished rim on the road car in my opinion. Are the stripes brick built? You mention this can be built in 4 different colours, what parts are particularly rare or expensive in each colour? I'd love to see a render of the black and grey ones.
  6. I'd place the top planks the other way up, then little pieces wouldn't get lost under the overhanging edges.
  7. A good looking ship with lots of nice angles going on. I like the tidy brick built colour change as well. I feel like this ship should be racing in Wipeout
  8. Weren't the yellow pins something to do with the way the real vehicle is delivered and then assembled? The answer may lie way back in the thread but looking for it sounds like a job for someone else
  9. All instantly recognisable, clearly you've put a huge amount of work into these! Thunderbird 2 is my favourite, the brick built yellow stripe is very well done. I'd love to see more of the pod vehicles but the links seem to lead back here? Finally do you know if FAB 1 is buildable IRL? It would make a great keyring.
  10. I was never expecting a visitor centre so that makes no difference to my view of this set. think the dinosaur itself is a great display piece and I can see myself bricklinking one but for me the negativity comes from this "... the model evolved by including the iconic Jurassic Park gates to add additional building experience and value for“Expert” builders...." I'd rather do without the added building experience and value of a gate and have a non licensed creator T Rex at £120.
  11. We are big Jurassic Park fans in this house so we saw the T rex and went wow! Saw the minifigs and went wow! Saw the price and went no thanks.
  12. Nailed it! I was foolishly looking for a tile, not a plate.
  13. Does anyone know the element id for a 2x2 tile with a single central stud? Struggling to find it on bricklink. Any help gratefully received
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Ray! That is a beautiful looking 8043 and a big improvement over the original, so much so that I think I may have to start bricklinking my own. The hoses actually leading to the LAs is a nice touch. Is the 15L beam at the back exactly parallel with the back panel? In the photo it looks to run slightly away even though the ends are both connected in system.
  15. A good C model and just at the right time as I picked up 42079 today at a good price. I bought it as a parts pack but I might challenge myself to recreate your telehandler first
  16. That's a good loader. I liked 42030 as a parts pack but as a model it seemed a bit see through, particularly the front section. Your MOC looks much more solid throughout. Are the rear light stickers custom? They seem very close to the prototype. I'm not much of a purist and agree that 42030 tyres are too smooth for this type of vehicle but did you consider 23798 107 x 44 Tractor Tyre ? Edit: On second read I see the stickers are custom. The rear lights reminded me of 42053 but they aren't the same so nice job on the stickers too!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks. There is some great stuff on your Flickr. I particularly liked this one As a technic fan I tend to forget Lego can be used as a medium for art as well as a building toy :)
  18. With the enclosed wheels and headlights it seems more like a futuristic LMP to me. In the first pic it looks the wheels are turned. Is there a HOG?
  19. Quick question not worthy of its own thread. My 2 Kilogram MOC is a bit sluggish, is this more than one L motor should be moving?
  20. Except of course this post is in the culture and media section, specifically for discussing movies and music and not... you know... Lego... Regarding the OP, I'm afraid I'm an Original Trilogy kind of guy so I only watched the prequels once and the significance rather passed me by. Perhaps I should give them another chance. Edit: I quite like Episodes 7 and 8 as well
  21. This would be a great MOC on its own but to also be a C model of one set is impressive! I particularly like the details you've added, the fake engine fits very nicely and has convinced me my own MOC needs one too.
  22. Thank you @Zerobricks for this informative thread. I will be revisiting my latest MOC to apply some of your solutions. The use of simple builds to illustrate your points is particularly helpful
  23. Hi, well done on a good looking little truck, if this were a set I'd be tempted. I like the clever use of panels for the bonnet. I'm a big fan of using only the bricks I have as it makes me think about creative ways of building. In the picture above I assume the rubber piece is held at one end by the inner 3L axle and squashes against the grey beam above it. Is there anything limiting the downward movement of the front hub?
  24. Is it possible the grey 2x4 bricks in the picture are merely set dressing to show the average person that yes, this is actually Lego? There's plenty of room for 4000 pieces if 2500 are black pins...
  25. It's obvious how this was done, if you look closely at the video you can see Buzz is equipped with a rocket pack and wings and that's how he flies
