  1. I missed CC and MS, but it doesn't really bother me. If it did I could bricklink it from parts, or just spend that money on MOCing something nice. If they did rerelease it, you wouldn't be satisfied, TLG rerelease s the UCS Xwing, and its different. You still wouldn't get the classic Cafe Corner.
  2. If the machine guns on WW1 biplanes could be timed not to hit the propellor, I think this would be fine. I agree with your first sentiment. I think the ship will block the propellers' airflow, but I like the way they look here.
  3. I've been looking at images of swings and I think that R2 is size accurate. A 3x3 dome might be too large.
  4. It looks great. It's a shame your grand emporium has the back visible, you should mod it to have a three-sided facade.
  5. On the Pediment, the triangular shape above the first-floor columns, adding a 1x2 white jumper to the end of that black 1x4 tile helps a lot to close the shape.
  6. For an upcoming display i thought it would be cool to mount a small camera in the front of train and send that feed to an iPad we would have on display using either BlueTooth or a WiFi network. Does anyone have experience doing this?
  7. Pricing on first post.
  8. The Tantive IV had a 10xxx number. I would be happy with a more expensive but accurate System-scale X-Wing.
  9. I just finished putting together the UCS B-Wing I received for Christmas. It has really good parts usage, and I liked the technigue used for mirroring the main wing. I'm also please that the cockpit rotates itself without you needing to turn it. The relatively repetive build doesn't bother me because the end result looks so good; the same thing was true for the UCS imperial shuttle, which aside from the main body was a repetitive and relatively uninteresting build. I know it was a relatively small parts count for the price, but I'm very happy with the final result and it sits happily on the desk in my office.
  10. Please include the set numbers.
  11. Gets the sets you like the look of. What's the point of collecting something you're not fond of? Also, why do you have to collect an entire theme, just get a variety of sets.
  12. Well I got the UCS B-Wing for Christmas, and I'm quit e excited to build it. Regarding the discussion of why the cockpit would rotate on a spaceship considering there is no up or down in space, I'd just like to add that not only do these ships fly through planet atmospheres, but they have to align with the flight deck on larger ships and in various bases where they are launched from.
  13. Get the sets you really like. Why collect something you don't?
  14. I like the all white color. I think the light bley window separators are too thick; reduce them by one plate. Maybe put two trans-clear bricks between them.
  15. Looks good. You should make the calipers gold or yellow. What about yellow forks?
  16. I know its not a purist solution, but has anyone tried using blades from an actual RC copter.
  17. Looks great.
  18. The Old Grey Snot's Pub The Brick and Plate
  19. Looks great. Why is the double tan line on the right side of the second floor that high?
  20. It doesn't matter what I think of your MOCs if you enjoy doing it.
  21. 1 Emerald Night 2 Super Chief 3 Maersk 4 BNSF I'm leaving nostalgia out because had the Emerald night come out 20 years ago I would have played with it like I did the early sets.
  22. I think it's excellent that the engineer is female.
  23. I think this is true initilly, but soon people will try build bigger and better X-Wings than the sets.
