Why the upper age limit???
dr_spock replied to Idris's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
They are there to provide guidance to the purchaser of what age range the product is suitable for. It is no different than juvenile and young adult books that have age ranges listed in the publisher's product catalogue. As per the LEGO Movie age limits on the box are merely a suggestion. As an adult you are free to ignore it at your own risk. They are probably there to cover any liability to the company. -
Happy Easter. They look like they're prepared to impound all eggs from the Easter bunny if he hopped onto Mardier soil. Were those custom decals egg-spensive to make?

You can copy the image location of each picture from the itlug.org site and paste the link in your message here. It should pull in the pictures.

Bon voyage, Jim. -
Brickset listed the LEGO Friends sets Stephanie's Horse Jumping as Stephanie's Obstacle Course in their database: https://shop.lego.com/en-CA/product/Stephanie-s-Horse-Jumping-41367 https://brickset.com/sets/41367-1/Stephanie-s-Obstacle-Course They did get set number correct. Any way, with the pretty colours, we can make more LEGO Friends related Technic MOCs.

Presenting my zero carbon emission locomotive: The horse treadmill locomotive. It is more or less environmentally friendly except for the rail line workers who have to work on the tracks afterwards. Power output seems to be limited to 1 horsepower, no matter how many carrots are used. Horse Treadmill Locomotive by dr_spock_888, on Flickr The treads move with the wheels. The fences are required to keep the horse from pushed off by the moving treads or running away from his employment. Next time you're choking on smoke from a dirty polluting steam engine, consider taking the horse treadmill locomotive powered train.

Minifigs and minidolls are just LEGO pieces. It's up to you how you use them, put value on them, whatever.

Pretty good. It is good to learn to make your own parts. What kind of filament did you use? If it is ABS, you could probably acetone smooth it to minimize the print layer lines and shiny it up. -
LEGO Education SPIKE Prime

The various colours can also help the teachers/facilitators to identify the parts when instructing the class or assisting the students or troubleshooting several group's problems at the same time. -

Welcome to Eurobricks. You need to put your pics up on your favorite picture hosting site like flickr, brickshelf, etc. and deep-link them in your EB post. EB is not setup host large amount of pictures (bandwidth costs). -
Welcome aboard, Thingyman.

LEGO Education SPIKE Prime

+1 to opening it up and taking circuit board pics. -
Thanks. Sure, you can reverse engineer it. I don't have instructions. Thanks. It's fun experimenting. Thanks. It's a unique North American style. Thanks. That's true. I put the engineer on the left since we run our trains clockwise on the layout so kids can see the figs. Thanks. It probably had too much coffee in the morning. It may need some counterbalancing to smooth it out. Thanks.

I can't see your instagram picture for some reason. Have you checked that your new batteries are good?

Can it store programs like the EV3 or it just executes commands from a smart device controller?

I guess the friendly colours can help quickly identify parts. They do stand out. -
