Monster Fighter for sure. Hidden See has a technology dependency. Who knows if the AR stuff will still work in a few years? I am looking at my LEGO Universe box... Thank you. Voted.

For how long will the LEGO company exist?

It could be more not to give their competitors any kind of insight that might help them better compete against LEGO. -
For how long will the LEGO company exist?
dr_spock replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Theoretically "LEGO" can live on forever. Even if LEGO goes bankrupt, somebody can buy the name and reuse for other purposes. Think Kodak and Polaroid brand names. All assets can be for sale to pay off creditors. -
Welcome aboard.

As long as there are people willing to work for and run the company? -

What do you do with your old instructions?
dr_spock replied to Calanon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I keep mine in a pile. It is fun going through them while searching for a particular instruction booklet to rebuild a disassembled set. -
Maybe their train focus group study indicated yellow is better for most set builders? I'm glad I bought a bunch of black ones when there were available back them. There seems to be many definitions of purists. Pick the one that fits you and enjoy your hobby.

If you want the AR full play experience with the app. Otherwise, a healthy dose of imagination would work too.

Is that a new tow ball piece for the couplers? The lever could be for exploding the sides for locomotive?

Manatees made it through Canada customs. Thanks CopMike!

Very nice.

A Ghost Train type train would seem to make the most sense for spooky AR.

The ESP8266 Wemos board + TB6612 motor shield is roughly 40mm x 30mm x 15mm. You would program the ESP8266 which would handle the wifi and control of the motor shield. The STM32 on the motor shield is the go between the ESP8266 and TB6612 motor driver chip. It provide an I2C interface.

The LEGO Discovery Centre have adults every couple of months where adults can attend without children. Normally you can't get into the attraction area without a kid or two in tow. The next one Feb. 22nd.

Awesome. Will you be doing the 4 day AFOL experience or coming on the weekend public days with the general public? -
Nice and inexpensive solution. I've been playing around with a Wemos D1 mini with Toshiba TB6612 motor shield. Interestingly, the motor shield uses a STM32 chip for the I2C communication. I had to reflash the STM32 chip to work properly. Now I have to figure out how to do the wifi thingie. What do you use to do your wifi protocols?
