  1. Welcome to Eurobricks, Steve.
  2. Or something Burlington Northern like an EMD F45.
  3. Perhaps LEGO will license others to make the adapter cables if they don't. That way they can make some money off their IP instead of making a niche product that may not be worth their while.
  4. Very nice. I'm sure you'll tweak it once you start running trains. It's part of the fun.
  5. Beautiful LDD build. Fitting for a royal.
  6. I think LEGO add colorants to each batch now instead buying plastic pellets already coloured. Kind of like when you buy paint at the paint store and they mix the colour for you on the spot. If they don't add the colour pigments exactly when you go back for more paint, you'll get colour variations between batches.
  7. How about warmongers from Fabuland? Elite Fabuland Squad by dr_spock_888, on Flickr I think they are ok. I didn't like them when I was a young lad.
  8. Love them. They are great for doing vignettes. Day 149 of 365: Enter the Panda by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Day 298 of 365: Flower Killer by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Day 311 of 365: Kitty Bathroom by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  9. The 8228 crane works pretty well with a system's minifig cabin MOD. Picture 4437 by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Picture 4434 by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks, Rahul. 42082 looks like fun set to start back into LEGO.
  11. You can license the builds you haven't licensed before. The number of licenses per month rule applies except for challenge prizes. You can license challenge prizes outside of the 3/month rule.
  12. Merry Christmas everyone. It was fun watching this progress.
  13. You could ask each creator if they are ok with you releasing instructions for your version of their MOC. If they are selling instructions and you're giving away your version for free, you'll be taking some money away from them. That could create some bad blood if they're making good money. Granted most individuals won't have the resources to take legal action against you unless they are live in the same legal jurisdiction. Small claims court is inexpensive.
  14. If you want to use 3S LiPo, you'll need DC-DC regulation to a Sbrick safe voltage to avoid toasting its motor driver ICs. XL motor specs No load current: 80mA Stalled current: 1.2A Sbrick specs: Recommended operating voltage range: 4V - 10.8V Recommended maximum continuous current per channel: 1A Absolute maximum voltage: 11.8V (Above this voltage, the motor driver ICs will be damaged) Absolute maximum continuous current per channel: 2A, thermal shutdown is expected at this level. Absolute maximum peak current per channel: 3A Absolute maximum continuous current intake from "0" and "9V" pins: 3A Maximum continuous current intake from C1-C2 (using old, or 9V power supplies): 2A
  15. It looks edible. Cocoa tender car is clever.
  16. Thank you for sharing. Great layout. The POV looks like a upper level ride in the Amtrak Superliner cars. I gotta remember to do a passenger view for my next POV. That's a massive amount of LEGO to transport. How is that giant crate structured internally?
  17. Ouch. Snippers. It's good to reuse the battery instead of tossing it out and to save some $$$. Is there any advantage to the double clips design on the EV3 compared to the single clip on the NXT? I find it harder to open the EV3 battery cover with just one hand.
  18. Nice and festive. Merry Christmas!
  19. The PUP is held together by 6 screws (2 philips and 4 torx). The circuit board is 4x8 and 1 brick tall. The tall components are the connectors and the 1000 mF capacitor. You could in theory take it out. Desolder the power pins and re-mount it into a custom enclosure with a custom battery/power setup.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks, Andres.
  21. Welcome aboard, Daz.
  22. Bumblebee. It was like re-living the 1980s.
  23. You can also call ahead to the LEGO Store and inquire what they have on the Pick A Brick wall before deciding to make the trip. Around here a typical commute is over an hour and then some. Driving an hour to the LEGO Store is normal, business as usual, every day driving. You can get free shipping with the online Pick A Brick (not Brick&Pieces) if you buy enough to qualify.
  24. Is there a way to revert back to the original PUP app that worked on 5.0.2 and earlier?
