  1. That's not my train. I found it in sekiyama's brickshelf folder. I think it is a LUG's display at a Japanese department store. I like seeing creative uses of "junior" parts.
  2. You can also download PDF instructions of recent train sets from LEGO.com like 7938, 60052, etc. They'll show you how the unpowered boogies are assembled. PAB has train wheels and holders but not the steel axles.
  3. Great looking build. I like how you got the AA battery box to fit in there. Nice use of flowers too.
  4. They could do it with a one piece "junior" nose like from the CITY Artic helicopter http://brickset.com/sets/60034-1/Arctic-Helicrane http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sekiyama/TrainExhibition/2014Umeda/Umeda6day/14umeda6-59.jpg
  5. Trying out the new 2x2 round tile with hole in holding my drive boogie to train base.
  6. Some printed tiles and train boogie plates.
  7. I haven't bought any of the 2014 Technic sets yet. Waiting for when they are deeply discounted.
  8. I think 20+ years. Does buying Lego for my children in the Dark Ages count?
  9. That could be bad if you bite into the wrong piece.
  10. Not intentionally. I buy sets I like and then don't get around to building them because I am too busy working on MOCs. Maybe I'll catch up with the backlog when I retire some day.
  11. Should have both. Detailed pics along with videos demonstrating functions. Having text is good too since it can be translated by Google Translate or whatever if your language is not English.
  12. Submitted a Bricklink order.
  13. Playing with it will most likely melt in your hands. Then you'll have to eat it.
  14. Cool. I have a Windhoff type train in the plans too. But it will be 6 wide. I found some Cargo Sprinter video filmed in Australia during my research.
  15. Pictures as they can show more details and you don't have to hit pause to stare at it as long as you want. Videos are good if there are actions involved.
  16. Welcome aboard.
  17. Lovely scene.
  18. A couple of train bases.
  19. 49 - 1 58 - 1 136 - 2 170 - 1 178 - 1 180 - 1 202 - 1 252 - 1
  20. Pick A Brick wall. Online PAB or BrickLink. You would have to compare prices and shipping. Some times it is easier through LEGO PAB. Other times through BrickLink.
  21. I haven't had that problem. Sometimes just tapping the magnet enclosure causes the magnet to align correctly internally. You can also use a 1x2 plate to connect two couplers.
  22. Have to agree with Kumbbl. 8110 has lots of fun possibilities to add to it.
