    Next year public days are July 4 & 5. It is a week earlier due to Pan Am Games in Toronto. It is Brickfete 5th year. Plan now. Maybe we'll finally get to meet you.

    Depends on how much space you have to display and run it. How prototypical do you want to be? Then again it is fun telling others how to spend their money. Do it.

    I think parents have a greater influence on their children's creativity than a toy manufacturer. Do they make them follow the rules to the letter or allow them to think outside of the box or some combination thereof?

    Maybe someone can get a copy of LEGO internal pricing model. Then we can see what they use to determine the price or make the set to a determined price point.

    Love it. It shouldn't be too hard to make Rudolph out of one of the reindeers.

    From a cost perspective just for parts, no. You're paying mostly for the training/team building material. It's a good deal if you plan to run corporate team building workshops with it. You can charge a $1000 USD per day and recover the costs of the sets that way.

    You can still do your review. There is no limit on EB the number of times a set can be reviewed. It is good to have other perspectives.

    In my last Pick A Brick cup, I can see slight variation of light bley 1x4 bricks. Not as bad as the PAB cup of yellow 1x4s but it is still visible under the store lights. Opportunity to design a better color mixer for LEGO, anyone? Daisy wheels are amateurs. IBM Selectric typewriter balls provided better print too and you can type on 5 part copies with 4 sheets of carbon paper in betweeen.

    Very nice collection of MOW vehicles. Interesting to see a Brandt in yellow. I've only seen them in white.

    I was given a large yellow cloth bag to use one time when I had too many items in my hands. I didn't get to keep the cloth bag though.
