"But of course you already knew that, what was i thinking?" - The Infomaniac, 1997, LEGO Island. Hello, my name is explained in the topic title. I'm LeutinantBluecoat, and i'm going to tell you a bit about myself. I love all the core themes, Town, Space, Castle, they're all my favorites: But one of my most favorites is the Pirate theme. I always loved the concept of Pirates: Captain Redbeard always dodging the Admiral, Governor Broadside, Admiral Woodhouse... But other than those subthemes, i love Islanders. The idea of tribal warriors led by the Voodoo-Wielding Chief King Kahuka was always amazing to me. I first found out of his existance in LEGO Racers (one of my most favorite LEGO games of all time.) and ever since then i've been a fan of the tribal Islanders, and i own the King Kahuka's Throne set as well. I also like the Imperial Soldiers, they're my favorite of the Imperial line. I love to imagine the soldiers marching on the Eldorado Fortress, protecting it from Captain Redbeard and his crew. I build MOCs often but i only have 10 and some are shabby LDD models. I also make brickfilms, but i haven't posted them on a video host yet. I also make art, and i draw often, but some things i draw aren't always involved with LEGO. I also like LEGO Island, (And i mean the first game. Don't like the second two very much) and i have taken screenshots before. Well, anyway, shouldn't crowd you all with my chit-chat, i'm happy to be a part of the community!

And I am from Malaysia. A grandpa with 3 grandchildren and we all have the Lego Wedo basic set plus the resource set. I also have the Lego Simple and Motorized Mechanism set. At this point in time, I am mainly in the learning mode so hope this group will tolerate questions. As my grandchildren gets older, we will get the Lego Mindstorms EV3. Expecting to be able to contribute later once we get over the learning curve. I am an active blogger who recently started this Robotics for Children blog. Will add more adult stuff later so please don't kick me out prematurely. I see that [ v ] Enable signature? at the sidebar so I assume we can append signatures at the bottom of our messages. Correct me please if I am wrong. Peter Chen Robotics for Children (and adult children)

Hello Eurobricks! My name is Isaac, I am a student living in England and have been playing with lego since I was 4, like many of you, i'm sure! I've been doing animations on Youtube sporadically for a good 6 years now, mostly related to the hit BBC show Doctor Who. However I don't like to feel limited to it. A lot of the lego creations that I share will be made as sets or props, like some train projects i am working on; but I will occasionally enjoy creating ideas for commercial sets. Who doesn't! I'm looking forward to sharing ideas and suggestions with everyone, and I hope I can be a help where I can! All the best, Isaac

Hi, my name is Andreas, I'm born in 1963 and I'm living in Stuttgart in the loveley South of Germany. Member at 1000steine.de for ages, now I would like to expand my horizon and show my stuff to an international audience. This year, I had shown a few of my MOCs at exhibitions e.g. in Grenchen/Switzerland and Rosheim/France at the famous "Fana'briques". Over short, I will continue my introduction by showing what I am doing with my bricks. Perhaps you would like to see large towers for marbles or funny games I have invented? I'm looking forward to find new friends and I'm curious whom I will meet here! Best regards and whishes Andreas

Hiya! I'm coffins and all my friends over the internet call me coffins. Because I prefer anonymity, I can't post anything about myself, except the fact that I'm system programmer and modder. I'm also a LEGO fan, so I decided to join this community. You can visit my WIP website to find even more information: https://coffins.github.io/about/

Hello everyone! I just found out about this group via the Facebook page. When I came over I saw the 5th LDD RCB and that it was a Western town theme. I was immediately interested in knowing what else this group did. I am following now following that thread and looking forward to seeing the final product. I started playing with LEGOs when I was about 5. I have always loved horses so my earliest sets all contained at least one horse. I had used the LDD 4-6 times over the past 8 years, but this site has inspired me to get back into using it. My favorite themes are Western, Medieval (particularly Robin Hood era), and Imperials (particularly modified to the American Revolution.) Last year, I also started building a Christmas village using a combination of the winter village sets and my own creations. I am presently going to college for my Master's and working full time so I stay too busy. However, I do enjoy playing PC games or building LEGOs when I have time. Most of my creations are MODs or small MOCs that are added to existing sets to fill them out. I will work on getting some pictures up of things I have done. I look forward to learning new techniques and getting new ideas from this group.

Hello! I'm 18 and from the United States. I've been a lurker on this site for several years and finally made an account. My favorite lego themes are Space/Sci-Fi and Action. I'm not a great designer/MOCer, but I do love to collect and modify existing sets. I run weekly Brikwars games with my friends, where we've got an ongoing space opera type thing happening, so I may post about that if it's allowed!

Greetings, as the title says, my name is Jack! I enjoy cross-country, running, computer games and most importantly, LEGO! At the moment I'm switching around themes a lot, trying to find one I like the most, at the moment I'm trying to create Hero Factory/Bionicle/Technic hybrids (kinda like the Toa Mata and Rahi). I can say that I'm not the best at it as I just started with it, but I do enjoy building little matorans! :) I hope to post what I have been creating as soon as I deem it to be the standards of this site, and hope to learn on how to improve them! Also, just making sure, should I post them on the "LEGO Action Figures" forum, or the "Technic" forum? I'm thinking it may be the "LEGO Action Figures" forum, but I'm not sure at all. Well, I'll see you on the "LEGO Action Figures" forum! ;)

Hello everyone, I am quite excited to finally register on this forum. I have been browsing Eurobricks for more than 3 years now (since I came out from my dark ages) and it's time to participate. Although I live in Germany, I come from France, 36 year old now, and got back into LEGO following the birth of my son (back to the basic with DUPLOs ). I grew up with LEGO, which was almost my only toy, from basic brick sets through classic space, pirates and Technics as I got older. I remember flipping through the catalogs and hoping to get the large sets, but unfortunately had to content myself with small ones - still provided me with many hours of building fun. Now, as an AFOL, I can enjoy financial freedom and finally get these flagship technic sets I always dreamed of. I got back into it with 42009 and was very impressed with the complexity, details and quality of the build. And I also realised at the same time that I completely missed the transformation to studless technic. I now own the last three flagship sets (and some other smaller ones) and can't wait for the massive Bucket Wheel Excavator and Class Xerion to come out. Recently I took interest in GBCs with the brilliant work Akiyuki and some of the Eurobricks members. In the mean time, I also got my wife into it with LEGO modulars which I also find fantastic, so many details. We are very slowly putting together a small city to our son delight. Overall, the forum community is very impressive, there are so many amazing MOCs and creative builders. Hopefully I can share some of my modest builds soon! Ciao!

Hello Eurobricks! After following multiple threads for years now I figured it was finally time to get involved properly, so here I am! I am an avid AFOL having been drawn out of my dark age through a combination of buying LEGO for my children and more specifically the Lord of the Rings theme. I remember purchasing a single Uruk-Hai sword from eBay back in 2012 because I thought it was one of the best parts I had ever seen, I did not realise then that that single piece would lead me to become a serious lego collector, specifically of minifigures. I am very excited to get involved in the Eurobricks community, and look forward to being part of current, and future discussions. Enthusiastically, Brickr

Hello, i'm new to Eurobricks and would like to introduce me and my "table town". My name is Ralf and i am an AFoL from Germany. My favourite Themes are (Classic-)Town (mostly 80ies and 90ies style) and Castle. My AFoLness lasts for 20 years now and for that anniversary i reconstructed/rearranged my town, called Lindburg. I use the 9V-system for my trains and MR for trams. The town has been apart for 7 years now and it was time to ... A lot wip there, but enough words: The oldest part of town, Sheeperstien (Shepard's Stone), mostly Tudor, partly due to a renewal, some houses done: the namegiving castle Burg Lindberg: the newer quarter Norderbruch, mostly from the 60ies: an 9V-adapted 7740 in action: a 6399 Airport shuttle tram crawling through a factory: the firestation (wip): view from the river: a last snapshot: more here on BS http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=526695 Greets, Ralf

Hi there everybody. The Prime here. Name: Hafeez Age: 28 (14th March) Country: Malaysia My hobby, well I think like everybody else is collecting toys. My primary collection is Transformers. Lego is my secondary collection. I only collect Lego City stuff and also Lego Batman only. I like Lego City because it is kind of realistic. It's fun to see big displays of Lego City. I have some of the big sets already such as Passenger Train, Police Station, Fire Station, Garage. But I have no place to display them :( And also prices of Lego here in Malaysia are very expensive. :( For instance the Lego Police Station in retail is RM560. RM3 = USD1. Nice to meet you all. And I love the reviews of Lego sets here. :)

Hello everybody! Like probably most of you I've been a fan of LEGO since my childhood ( 30 yo now ). For years it was an addiction that I had perfectly under control, no LEGO in the house, and all my LEGO ready and waiting for me at my parent's place ( where we use it during our ).Recently, "thanks" to Strikeman the addiction has reared it's beautiful head again... He took me to LEGO Fanwelt in Cologne last month and showed me the beauty of "The Official LEGO store" in the city centre... I bought a box of "BASIC" bricks, "just for fun". We returned home that night and while we're out smoking a cigarette, we notice that my wife is digging through the pieces and building a tiny car... it's now 2 weeks after that and as an introduction, I'll show you what happened... 2 days after LEGO Fanwelt, my wife drove to her parents' place to pick up "her" LEGO, which I built the next day "just to see if it was still complete"... A few days after that, our son went to bed a bit early, so we had a bit of 'free' time with the 2 of us, so we poured the "BASIC" box out on the table and had some fun: The past weekend, I drove to my parents' place to pick up the LEGO that was in "Teh Lair" ( see youtube video above ) and discovered that there had been a leak in the roof of "Teh Lair", thus requiring a thorough cleaning of all my LEGOs... First Load + most BURPs drying: 2nd & 3rd Load drying: Minifigstuff drying: Baseplate-stack: Various windows etc ( stuff I washed by hand ): Quick street-layout with my "best" plates: I've got a huuuuuuge idea for a diorama in my mind, and I've even installed MLCAD already and I'm designing the first part of the diorama in it already, I'll keep you all updated on the progress in the relevant places once I get to know the layout of this place a bit :-D Beside LEGO, my other passions are cars ( & anything related to them, from racing, over tuning to show-cars ) & video games ( see video above once again :p ) Finally, here's my Flickr photostream where you'll mostly find pics of cars, but since a few hours also the LEGO-pics included here and there will be more to come! Kind regards, mistic192

Hello everyone, I've been a visitor to this website for many months now, but just recently have worked up the courage to register. I thought I'd introduce myself here before I jump right in and start randomly participating in message threads, though. A bit of background: I grew up in the 1980's and my introduction to LEGO was through Classic Castle; the first set I have memories of owning was 6077 Forestmen's River Fortress. My family wasn't able to afford a lot, and I think that remained my largest set until I recieved 6075 Wolfpack Tower in the early 90's. A couple of smaller sets, probably half castle and half pirate made up the rest of my collection at the time. In middle school, I spent a lot of time with my 6th-grade neighbor, who's parents were able to afford purchasing the majority of Islanders and Dragon Knights sets for him. You can only imagine the battles we used to construct. My interest in LEGO waned more and more in High School, though the release of the Egyptian Adventurers line got me to purchase a few of the better sets. (Those were SO awesome.) At the time, I was heading off to design school with a focus on themed entertainment (primarily theme parks), so I did spent several afternoons pulling old LEGO out of the closet to reconstruct portions of the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride. Graduated with honors, but life threw a couple of curve balls and the LEGO was lost - along with most of my aspirations as a theme park designer. I got involved in other pursuits (Moving, work, more school), and had entirely forgotten about the brick until I came across the new Fantasy Castle line. In a burst of nostalgia, I requested the King's Castle Siege for my birthday; my mother amusingly wasn't even phased by her 25-year old son wanting LEGOs. Curve ball number two was thrown, and I went through a pretty tough time involving some life-changing health concerns and once again, all LEGO (the whopping one set) was lost (This time to medical bills, lol.) Come 2012, and the release of LEGO Lord of the Rings once again kick started my interest in LEGO. I started spending a lot of time online, dicovering several incredible websites (including this one) comprised of fellow AFOLs who were just as excited about the toy as I was. They say the 3rd time's a charm, and it certainly seems that way - it's been over a year and my interest hasn't waned one bit. I've been able to collect quite a few sets in the past year - several milestones were re-purchased MIB including 5988 Temple of Anubis and 7094 King's Castle Seige (the set I loved so much I named myself after it, lol) - as well as many current sets (LOTR, Monster Fighters, CMF's, ect.) If you made it this far, congratulations! This will probably be the longest post I'll ever type; hopefully it wasn't too boring. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone else and I'm very glad to have found Eurobricks!
