  1. I was looking at thin tape for adding stripes on some of my models. They come in different colors. It might be an another option to frame the windows to look like the prototype. You could cut curtains from thin cloth and stick them to the inside.
  2. Welcome aboard, Oracid.
  3. Flex track would be perfect for running a LEGO version of the British Pacer. It'll provide the correct rough ride and maybe "donkeying" if I put plates underneath here and there. That's my plan once I finished my Pacer MOC. It's going to be noisy when the train runs over flex track. Here is an example of my MOC going over flex track in the curves.
  4. I prefer the spiral bounded if the instruction booklet is going to be thick. They did that with the instruction books for the UCS Imperial Star Destroyer.
  5. Are they really that bad to ride? Now someone should model one out of LEGO.
  6. It's a lot of fun to be in a LUG and doing public displays.
  7. I think 7725 may be based off some EMU. It looks like it has been toy-ized so it might hard to determine without interviewing the set designers. Maybe the modern FLiRT EMU is based off it.
  8. I had to look up what your Pacers are. On this side of the pond, Pacers were a name of a car that didn't rank highly. Based on your shudder, it seems like your Pacers have the same level of fondnesses with the public. I suppose we could stick some rail wheels on our LEGO CITY bus and call it a Pacer.
  9. Nice. Is it a CP Rail SD60 you're modeling? Photographing your model in the window backlit by sun makes it come out dark and hard to see the details in the black parts. You can use fill flash or not shoot into the window, ie. have the window behind you.
  10. Are you using an iPad? I don't see the winner of G on my iPad but it shows the picture of the prize G. On my laptop with Firefox, the name of winner of G appears above the picture of prize G. Strange, eh?
  11. Here you go: http://www.investopedia.com/university/economics/economics3.asp
  12. It looks like it is going to be fun 24 days. Any Redcoats in the calendar?
  13. Nice Idea. Is there anything in there for the non-steam engine train fan? Can diesels or electrics engines be built with part provided in this project? Interesting the HE sale wasn't available in North America. Probably why we still have HE in stock.
  14. Nice one. Where are the discounted large screen TV sets?
  15. I did a PAB order last month using Firefox as the browser. No issues.
  16. I think you can get nicer results using a better lens on a DSLR and focus stacking software. Then the whole image is sharp versus going around blurry and sharp which gets annoying after a while.
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks. I think that should be in the General area since it involves inventory, sorting, parts, not so much as in software for designing or building LEGO virtually. Sounds like something that might be useful to a BrickLink seller with a large inventory too.
  18. Welcome aboard, Martin. See you in the Train forum.
  19. Yeah I saw the 54 cent price too. Maybe he saw there was demand for those balls again.
  20. Not bad. A bit hard to see some of the details in your photo.
  21. Excellent review. I think the fencer's weapon is more like an epee. Rapiers aren't used in official FIE competitions or FIE sanctioned.
  22. Nice build. Those pirates seem a little slow in opening their gun ports.
  23. Still available in Canada S@H. No sign of the "retiring soon" flag on the production description page. Hmm, will a new train be on time or late arriving?
  24. I picked up some technic turntables a while back ago too. Not much technic lately. I vaguely recall seeing some 2x4 bricks with technic pins (for attaching wheels). I do find the other parts on the PAB useful for building stuff for the LEGO Store Community/LUG display. That's too high. Maybe it is easy for you with your electric fork lift to reach.
