  1. Congrats. Happy building. 1x4 brown tiles were on the Pick A Brick wall at the local LEGO Store. That's probably least expensive way to get lots of them. Now if they put 1x2 brown tiles on the wall, I'd be all set.
  2. You can stiffen up the flex track with some long 2 x ___ plates on top of flex track studs. Then it won't "flex" around.
  3. Colors are great. Anyone notice the round portal on the castle looks like the portal in the Atlantis set? Except it is light trans-blue instead of trans-blue.
  4. That's Italian flag colors. Perhaps a modern Christopher Columbus?
  5. Neat. Looks like it could be fun ride at an amusement park. How did you make the LEGO curve like that?
  6. Is that what you do for a living in public transportation?
  7. Welcome aboard, Rudolf.
  8. +1 It is a lot of work to make a comic. It can also be a lot of fun if you enjoy making them. Looking forward to part 2.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  10. Thanks everyone. I tried 8 but it looks better to me with 6. LEGO also used 6 stud spacing for the wagon the Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase set.

  12. Mine are on a shelf. I don't really want to put holes in my ceiling. I had to pay extra for smooth ceilings instead of that stucco stuff when the house was built. When I used to live in an apartment, I suspended my Star Trek models from the ceiling. Be sure they are high enough that you and/or your tall friends don't knock them down with heads or other body parts.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks. Great job on the minidoll. I never thought of using JB Weld that way.
  14. Happy New Year. Happy New Year by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  15. Nicely done. I like the Speeder too.
  16. Yup, seen that before. I think on the Liebherr YouTube channel. Lots of good stuff there. They also did one of several crawler cranes lifting each other.
  17. Rotary dumper? Tipper?
  18. Thanks for sharing. Some interesting layouts mixing model railroad scenery with LEGO.
  19. There are parts in colors not available to the public in sets or otherwise but may be available to internals, LEGO Certififed Professionals or Master Builders at LEGOLAND (Q elements).
  20. Yes, it has. I've been beating my brain every day to come up with ideas for my LEGO 365 project. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can shoot outside and stop building a vignette a day. I tried to shoot outside in the snow but my fingers and camera froze.
  21. I think I'd rather be in the black one. Lack of roof on the red one could make for a snowy icy ride.
  22. You can get an inventory part list from the item catalog on Bricklink. From there you can see if a part is in different colors and which BL store has them.
  23. Don't forget with the PAB cup, you can also fill in the empty spaces with small pieces like studs, tiles, etc. If you sell them off on Bricklink, you can factor that into your overall price per 2x4. As for how many in a cup, while in comfort at home grab a PAB cup and a pile of 2x4s and try out different packing configurations. See which works best for you based on how much time you normally have at the store.
  24. Nice. Looks good in the environment.
  25. It is like the designers ran out of design dollars towards the end of the plane. The rear calls for MODing. One of the large green planes a few years ago had a opening door if I recall. Most smaller planes don't come with doors. Egress is via the roof.
