  1. LEGO battery boxes have a resetable fuse that cuts out at around 750 mA if I am not mistaken.
  2. Ha, good write up. Will there be a duel in the future? A message from Susieh: "I have a few dresses I don't wear any longer should you change your mind."
  3. Question: A small residence costs 5DB to license and yields 2 DB per month. If you pay 5 DB for the license, 2.5 DB from the payment goes to your fraction. If you're a Sea Rat, you only need to pay 2.5 DB for the license. 50% off the listed price? On the yield of 2 DB, is that before or after taxes? If it is an after tax amount, then shouldn't individual Sea Rats be earning 20% more per month since they are not taxed? 2.4 DB per month for small residence?
  4. Perhaps we could have a MOC the spam challenge. Day 179 of 365: Swatted by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  5. What are your interests? Figs? Building experience? Ships? I think any sets you can find. The 2015 pirate sets are getting rarer in the retail market.
  6. Procrastinating going to the bathroom. There is something exciting about waiting until the last minute to get it done.
  7. You may have just missed the wooden bed spam.
  8. Also to help new builders. It helps make the building process less confusing and frustrating so builder won't swear off future LEGO purchases.
  9. LOL, clever escape plan on a 10x10. Looks like he shaved his chest and donned a whale bone corset. Will there be more cross dressing in future stories?
  10. Good fight. Nice to see the bluecoats get their due.
  11. Better yet come join the Sea Rats and live tax free. Edit Bonus adventures on the high seas if you aren't afraid to take your ship out of the port.
  12. Neat little build. Interesting story. Any voodoo dolls we can use in the Sea Rats raids? How is this for a strange spooky curiosity? I had the same black leather sofa in the background.
  13. It can be fun to watch the ball going around and around in the Particle Accelerator. It appears to use the Li-Ion battery pack for speed control. That may put the cost of the set into over $100 CAD range. There could be also liability issues if the ball hits someone in the eye at speed.
  14. Thank you.
  15. You guys probably should stop reading them. They might corrupt your ability to write good English or end up with more pimples.
  16. What does yours look like?
  17. Beautiful build and excellent working functions. I think you like these huge excavating machine. I remember you made one 3 years ago for the Triple contest on EB.
  18. I think you can get PWM on all GPIOs on the ESP8266. http://www.esp8266.com/wiki/doku.php?id=esp8266_gpio_pin_allocations Different ESP8266 module boards expose different numbers of GPIO pins. The later boards like ESP-12E give you access to more pins plus FCC approval in the USA. An early ESP-01 board only exposes 2 GPIO pins and it could work as in place of the BT module for WIFI connectivity. The ATtiny841 could talk to it through the exposed RX, TX lines. You could probably replace the ATtiny841 with a later ESP8266 board that has more GPIO pins exposed to control the motor driver.
  19. Don't worry high tide usually comes back. Good NPU of chef hats and story. Blow me down, YouTube won't let me view the video in your Next:???? link without a login ID. Something about This video may be inappropriate for some users.
  20. super
  21. Good story. Sinbad never did get to pledge loyalty to Li. Mystery continues... A movie set trick is make the walls moveable so that you can flip them around when you're filming the actors on the other side. That could be one way to avoid the headlight brick holes in the shot.
  22. I think Chima could be another one not many AFOLs like. Friends in the beginning. Would the polls in the numerous Eurobricks set reviews be a useful source of data to evaluate like or dislike?
  23. I use Photobucket. You can configure your settings on Photobucket so that photos are automatically resized as you upload them. For large sized photos already on Photobucket, you can edit them on Photobucket. Select edit when viewing the photo. In the online Editor menu bar, there is a button for resize. Click and enter the size you want.
  24. LOL, that is a mighty fine tall tale. I think the speech bubble could be a bit smoother. Although, that random curviness gives a look like the ship was inside some giant sea creature's digestive tract.
